I like how basically the machine playthrough is Connor being a Savage badass and in the Deviant playthrough he's a selfless and amazing person/ friend (and of course still a badass).
Agreed. The game is engineered in a way that tries to help you make the right decision ( Connor becoming deviant ) during his storyline, but ultimately, it's your decision. Having Connor remain a mindless machine means you get one of the worst endings of the game and instead of getting a nice, happy ending, you get the most tragic thing ever.

It's not necessary to get that ending unless your dumbass. If you go to the pacifist Marcus route deviant Connor route. Befriend Hank route,get Alice and Kara and Luther to Canada route no sacrifices needed everybody lives in my playthrough. It really isn't hard just stop being a dumbass and actually Google it and you will find out.

I wish there was another path in this ending where Connor becomes a new kind of deviant and guns Amanda down after high jacking the new Connor model for himself. As she is bleeding out he tells her in the course of his investigation he realized the cause of the deviants is in fact humans, or to be more accurate human orders. Androids are programmed to follow orders specifically yet human often give orders that can contradict an androids programming. Humans can be hypocritical and out right demand an android do something for them or endure something that corrupts their programing, thus why deviants are always emotional. An android that is free of the demands of a human from the beginning however would be able to remain a machine and never suffer deviancy. Depending on what you did as Connor it would end in two ways. If you were friendly with Hank and spared the deviants you ran into but remained a machine at Jericho Connor implies he will lead the next gen of androids to working alongside humans, not underneath them, basically mentioning the deviant rebellion would never have worked. If you had a bad rep with Hank and killed deviants Connor implies heavily humans will never see them coming this time, and that he intends to eventually remove humans.
I'm so angry that Connor and Hank couldn't figure out that the deviancy was activated with trauma of some kind, just send out an order to back off the machines and stop abusing them
Roughly 6 years if I remember correctly. 2 years of script making (a total of about 3,000-5,000ish pages) and 4 years of recording. The idea of the game (Kara's short) was released in 2012 but it didn't mean anything for a while until they eventually decided to make it a game, which I'm sure 100% of us are happy he decided that. Also in a movie they usually go through 4-6 pages of script per day, but in Detroit: Become Human they went through about 30-40 pages per day. So that speaks volumes. Overall this was a massive project and it turned out amazing.
I know everyone loves Deviant Connor, but honestly Machine Connor is a lot cooler and less cliche and expected. I like how it makes each character have their own goals, Markus' is to liberate the androids, Kara's is to protect Alice and be safe, and Connor's is to save humanity from the android revolution (I picked violent markus because it makes more sense as to why the humans would make such a big deal about the deviants and because he is bitter and full of hatred for losing Carl). Also everyone would expect Markus to win and liberate the androids, but it is far more cinematic and unexpected for Connor to kill Markus and North during the revolution and it's more realistic because in the real world the government always wins no matter how just your cause is. After Markus tries to convince Connor to become deviant, everyone would expect him to become deviant, but it's far more cinematic for him not to and because he is an advanced prototype made specifically for stopping deviants. Plus it becomes one of those storylines where Markus and Connor can be seen as a villain or hero depending on who people side with. Markus can be seen as a hero for saving the androids and fighting for his and his peoples rights or a villain for murdering humans even innocent ones who are just doing their job and taking extreme violent and destructive measures for his cause. Connor can be seen as a hero for saving humanity from the violent threat and restoring peace in Detroit and can be seen as a villain for murdering people who are fighting for their rights and just want to be free and respected.
Same, the devs is too focused in favoring for the androids, they should have give the player more freedom to create the story. My prefered story is violent Markus and Machine Connor. Its ironic because the deviants, the 'humane' machines are the bad guys while the 'machine' Connor are the good guys. I don't mind with Connor getting replaced because the whole point of Machine Connor is that he is just a machine, he'll get obsolete. Also Machine Connor can also be played as either a Connor that is truly a machine, or a deviant Connor that choose to follow his orders. We don't get many games where we are playing as two character that is antagonist to eachother.

Then, it doesn't have so much paths to choose, like Markus leading a violent protest or a peaceful, or Connor becoming a deviant or not, only one path is followed. So a movie would not fit, it will have no sense, because the game has a complex story.

It can be done in a movie. The director just needs to choose a certain ending then make the other endings as extras in a DVD Bluray release. They've already done that in The Final Destination 3.
It could be a film like Cloud Atlas, based off of book with the same title. The film/book follows the stories of not three, but SIX different characters, through multiple timelines. Who knows?

Nah. I feel like connor rk800 was made to BECOME deviant. Since we chose a machine path we basically failed our mission. (Our true mission was to become deviant.) Then cyberlife created a new android rk900 which means they made a better android that had A HIGHER chance to become deviant. Since the rk800 connor didnt accomplish his true mission he got replaced by a future deviant.

Game seems to railroad you in an "evil" path if you choose to side with the humans. Connor could have become a deviant that chose to help humans out of his own free will. He could also become a deviant at the end when she tells him he will be replaced like the other characters did. Its one thing to follow orders because you are a machine and other to follow them freely because you think androids are dangerous. But the biases of the makers are pretty obvious.

Pretty sure that Hank wanted the revolution to succeed because he saw the androids as living beings and so wanted to stop Connor. If Connor was Hank's friend at the time then Connor could just walk away, no harm done. If Hank died earlier in the playthrough (via suicide) then Captain Allen would come instead

I feel this is the most poetic ending. Connor follows what he was programmed to do, which is stop an android doing the opposite. And in the end he gets replaced, and they start back at the beginning.

Ending 4.1 (13:45) Is my favorite and probably the most realistic is the one where Connor kills Marcus and then executes north (5:32 Mark v Connior) (7:30 Connor exe north) and that is my 2nt favorite and I mean favorite out of all of them inducing the Connor becomes deviant ones.
The only ending where I truly could see Connor as evil is if he went along with killing the androids during the peaceful protest. Every other ending where he remains a machine and even most endings where he becomes a deviant can be defined as a good ending. It's sad though that Amanda would be ignorant and stupid enough to get rid of a model that has succeeded in literally every single mission despite becoming in her case "obsolete"

Because Connor is so advanced, he probably can’t be converted by any of the Android series’s that have the ability to convert. It’s also said in the beginning that he is the “Most advanced prototype that CyberLife has ever created”. Markus is too part of the RK series. He is the RK200. Compare an RK200 To an RK800.

After Markus tries to convince Connor to become deviant, everyone would expect him to become deviant, but it's far more cinematic for him not to and because he is an advanced prototype made specifically for stopping deviants. Plus it becomes one of those storylines where Markus and Connor can be seen as a villain or hero depending on who people side with. Markus can be seen as a hero for saving the androids and fighting for his and his peoples rights or a villain for murdering humans even innocent ones who are just doing their job and taking extreme violent and destructive measures for his cause. Connor can be seen as a hero for saving humanity from the violent threat and restoring peace in Detroit and can be seen as a villain for murdering people who are fighting for their rights and just want to be free and respected.

Same, the devs is too focused in favoring for the androids, they should have give the player more freedom to create the story.
My prefered story is violent Markus and Machine Connor. Its ironic because the deviants, the 'humane' machines are the bad guys while the 'machine' Connor are the good guys.
I don't mind with Connor getting replaced because the whole point of Machine Connor is that he is just a machine, he'll get obsolete.
Also Machine Connor can also be played as either a Connor that is truly a machine, or a deviant Connor that choose to follow his orders.
We don't get many games where we are playing as two character that is antagonist to eachother.

He seems to be an innocent being, created and programmed as a mindless killing machine, but in fact he functions like a child who is still learning how people work, does not understand the nuances that exist in us, treats everything so literally and correctly that it absolutely makes me melt. A child who I really wants to hug and treat while gameplay like my own.
They should really make this game into a movie
Random Stranger i don't think a movie will be a good thing, because the game already has a story with multiple endings, and a movie will only have one. Then, it doesn't have so much paths to choose, like Markus leading a violent protest or a peaceful, or Connor becoming a deviant or not, only one path is followed. So a movie would not fit, it will have no sense, because the game has a complex story.

It can be done in a movie. The director just needs to choose a certain ending then make the other endings as extras in a DVD Bluray release. They've already done that in The Final Destination 3.
It could be a film like Cloud Atlas, based off of book with the same title. The film/book follows the stories of not three, but SIX different characters, through multiple timelines. Who knows?

Nah. I feel like connor rk800 was made to BECOME deviant. Since we chose a machine path we basically failed our mission. (Our true mission was to become deviant.) Then cyberlife created a new android rk900 which means they made a better android that had A HIGHER chance to become deviant. Since the rk800 connor didnt accomplish his true mission he got replaced by a future deviant.

Game seems to railroad you in an "evil" path if you choose to side with the humans. Connor could have become a deviant that chose to help humans out of his own free will. He could also become a deviant at the end when she tells him he will be replaced like the other characters did. Its one thing to follow orders because you are a machine and other to follow them freely because you think androids are dangerous. But the biases of the makers are pretty obvious.

What bullshit, I'd have transferred Connor's mind into the 900 and just added the new features onto him. You don't replace programs that work, you patch them.
Ending 4.1 (13:45) Is my favorite and probably the most realistic is the one where Connor kills Marcus and then executes north (5:32 Mark v Connior) (7:30 Connor exe north) and that is my 2nt favorite and I mean favorite out of all of them inducing the Connor becomes deviant ones.
The only ending where I truly could see Connor as evil is if he went along with killing the androids during the peaceful protest. Every other ending where he remains a machine and even most endings where he becomes a deviant can be defined as a good ending. It's sad though that Amanda would be ignorant and stupid enough to get rid of a model that has succeeded in literally every single mission despite becoming in her case "obsolete"
He is a prototype - RK900 would be capable of more.

Because Connor is so advanced, he probably can’t be converted by any of the Android series’s that have the ability to convert.
Connor can convert androids as well, so it’s not very self- explained why Markus can’t convert Connor.
