He does. If you investigate Hank's house and go near the window, Connor will apologise and will say CyberLife will pay for the damage. Hank then tells him that he'd surely send them a bill.
Markus and the rest of the deviants being victorious and Kara and Alice reaching Canada wasn't the ending that broke me. But Connor and Hank smiling at each other and then hugging was the one that made me cry, and even if I'm years late it never fails to make me sob-
That's my favorite too, but I can't tell you the amount of relief I felt when the security guy let Kara, Alice, and Luther through to Canada. Dude's a saint.
I went the boat route and I got Luther and Kara killed. I was too generous to give the couple their ticket back and I thought, 'what could go wrong when going across the river?' But getting Luther and Kara killed was what went wrong and I thought I left Alice on her own but thankfully someone came to save her.
Kara and Markus' Story didn't really get me emotional and I didn't form any attachment to them since deviated so early in the game. Connor and Hank's Story is what hit me because we actually see Connor form a father+son relationship with Hank and he slowly deviates as it progresses. They're all well written, but Connor's story, in my opinion, is the best.
Bryan Dechart admitted that the reason why he and Clancy worked so well is because they played off each other and made ideas up together, which is basically giving a giant middle finger to Cage's nitpicky directing style. The results speak volumes on which storyline was the best one.

I do love Hank and Connor's dynamic. At first Hank wants nothing to do with Connor because of his hatred for Androids and later down the line depending on the players choices he grows to like Connor and I kinda feel that Hank may view Connor like another son

Right? Man hates it when Connor dies, treats him like a friend while also treating him like a son. Kinda reminds me a little of Joel and Ellie's relationship. My favorite is the part of the game when Hank stops referring to Connor as it and starts saying him
I like Hank's development, he slowly understands deviants and manages to see the horrors of humanity and the goods of androids
Connor's like a son to Hank I wonder what happened after u get best ending and they meet at the chicken fast food.
I ain't seeing the father son thing
@@vixymix101 true. It's an old school anime romance with Hank being the tsundere
nah they gae

This was my very first PS4 game and it's been my favorite since the moment I watched my favorite RUclipsr play it. I love Connor and Hank's father-son relationship so much
Hank views Connor as his partner and friend. Literally, the game denies any fatherson dynamic and basically says that replacing a child with an android this dusgusting. Connor says Hank is his friend and Connor 60 confirms Connor liked Hank too much.
Hank: Stay behind me.
Conner: Got it.
This and “Hang on son” make me soft in the heart.
connor and hank's storyline is by far my favourite out of all the storylines
Conner's NDE and feeling death during an existential crisis broke me because his voice sounded so weak and fragile when he talks to Hank.
you know those play this at my funeral, well- *play this at my funeral*
4:41 “I LiKe DoGs” CONNOR STOP, MY HEART
more like 31 minutes of the best thing ever.
APPARENTLY HANK VOICES MR KRABS AND I CAN LITERLALY HEAR IT SOMETIMES
“Soft moments” Hank “so be a good little robot and get the fuck outta here”
you know hank is so nice and respectful and you can tell cause he says "i CALL him sumo" instead of "his name IS sumo" cause sumo cant judge the name for himself
2:46 Connor says this while looking like he doesn't fully understand him.
Connor showed empathy, which the fake Connor wouldn't have been able to show cuz he was a fresh android, despite him downloading his memory. The writing shines throughout the entirety of this video and this video alone.
Damn this game was ahead of its time weren't it. Every time i come across it again i cant help but think about how theres really nothing else that compares in complexity and story of this genre recently.
"I'm not programmed to say things like this but i really appreciated working with you. With a little more time who knows we might of even become friends." Best line from Connor
*it's me, Connor*
*I am the android send by Cyberlife*
I want to replay the game but I don’t wanna make hank hate me and I can’t bring myself to stay a machine :(
I know the struggle! I want to unlock all endings but I love Hank too much and all I want is to see him happy. I know Hank has some sad endings, idk if I can go through that 😭😭😭
Conner : I'm The Android Sent by Cyberlife
Caption : I'm The Android Sent by Sucker life 🙂
"DBH Hank and Connor Soft Scenes"
The scene: Listen, a$$hole!
Seeing Hank so happy makes the game much more special.
Connor: And I said "Got it", you know, like a liar.
23:25 from thsi point on u can feel in connor's tone of voice like hes alive not an android
Best relationship on this game from enemies to friends
I fuckin love their father son dynamic.
It is buddy cop dynamic. Hank views Connor as his partner and friend. Literally, the game denies any fatherson dynamic and basically says that replacing a child with an android this dusgusting. Connor says Hank is his friend and Connor 60 confirms Connor liked Hank too much.
@@jellystar9033 cool
That's your person point of view and that's okay.
I'll think what I want and to be fair majority of the community thinks that they have a father son dynamic.
And no he isn't replacing Hank's deceased son in any way. They're just really close and have that dynamic because it's what it's turned into, it's evident.
Also, would you rather have them be lovers? Cuz yeah, that's a thing as well.
And I find that gross.
@@tanyaalam3006 it is canon, buddy, not my personal view. The game literally calls them friends, Connor calls them friends, Hank calls Connor his partner, Connor 60 confirms Connor liked Hank so much that he died for him. Connor is not a child and never needed a father figuremas well as Hank never needed a new son. Did you ever seen people who lost their children? I doubt Hank is delusional enough to see a random adult android who he have been known for 5 days as his child. if you personally see them as cop buddies or colleagues or friends then that's totally fine y'know? They're friends/partners in the game, after all. They're not father and son though, the game has many of those dynamics (Kara/Alice, Carl/Markus) and the literally only "sign" of them having that was a "son" from Hank while Connor was dying and like... calling another young man "son" is such a white american boomer thing, Captain America used it in Avengers as well and yet I see no one calling the guy he called "son" Cap's adopted son. Old white american men just say that sometimes, it's nothing special. And Yes, I would rather have them as lovers because it doesn't contradict the game. I think it's worse to interpret them in a way that they obviously aren't just because of homophobia. Hank's "old", a bit overweight and not conventionally pretty, therefore these fans think of him as impossible to have a romance with Connor, it's not as "sexy" as two pretty young guys despite the fact that hey obviously have a chemistry going on in the game, seeing two characters getting close and having a wonderful relationship to the point of thinking they'd be cute as a couple is in no way a bad thing.
“Connor boy me Bob “
2:05 the android was too stunned to speak
always good to see DBH content show up randomly, genuinely a nice change of pace
There is no scene in any recent games that gives you the same dopamine rush like the Hank & Connor hug
This vid is 2 years ago but still i'll be watch every single vid abot DBH. There is something called 'addicted'

H: Connor! The fuck are you doin'?
C: *Coming, Lieutenant.*

OMG I UNDERSTAND THE JOKE!
I will say it when I’m 18. 16 years old right now
2 years to go
I do love Hank and Connor's dynamic. At first Hank wants nothing to do with Connor because of his hatred for Androids and later down the line depending on the players choices he grows to like Connor and I kinda feel that Hank may view Connor like another son
bullshit. He views Connor as his partner and friend. Literally, the game denies any fatherson dynamic and basically says that replacing a child with an android this dusgusting. Connor says Hank is his friend and Connor 60 confirms Connor liked Hank too much.
Right? Man hates it when Connor dies, treats him like a friend while also treating him like a son. Kinda reminds me a little of Joel and Ellie's relationship. Man's watching Connor grow as he slowly becomes a deviant and even indirectly/ directly shapes Connor. Man didn't get to spend much time with Cole but in a way got to see it in Connor, which makes sense. Connor said it best, he was designed to integrate with people.
16:37 Connor's little half-smile here 😭💕
