Never ending respect for Mr. Hornsby! From 1986 (when I was 13) hearing The Way It Is, to today and finding a Bruce all by himself version of another of his gems, I'm a fan 100%!
Oh man! those signature chords and progressions. Such an incredible feeling, such a strong mixture of joy and sad reflection in Bruce Hornsby's work - becomes part of the world palette of music.
saw bruce and the noisemakers 8/ 2011... met him backstage. a great guy! saw him twice last week on his solo tour. he's an amazing performer. what i love is the creative, restless spirit that he brings to every show!
People these days wouldn't know great music if it came up and bit them....let's see if Bieber (and I hate to even mention his name in the same sentence with Bruce) lasts just a few more years....not decades.....Love Bruce...always have...my son plays his songs..just awesome!
Glad Bruce is sticking to his best style of all, straight foward, story telling, melody makin, music. Glad he's back! Go Bruce and show 'em how it's done.
I literally bumped into Bruce at the local Wawa here in Williamsburg, VA the other day. All he was talking about was the William & Mary basketball game. He is a great family man and wonderful person.

Just a magnificent artist and pianist. Been a fan since I was 11 in 1986. Masterful arrangements as always. Just learning the recorded version of Mandolin Rain. Ugh, what a great song but a bear of a song to learn on the piano. Love the heavy chord structures in that song. A real challenge. Thanks for all your great music, Bruce. Keep Rock'n!!
Bruce, my mother is 64, I'm 33, my sister is 28, and my nephew is 9. We are all BIG fans of yours. PLEASE keep it up! We all love you. Every song is a classic for us!
I don't think there is anyone better with the keyboards in contemporary/rock/whatever you call it music. I love Jackson Browne too. He might not keep up with Mr.Hornsby but still. Saw him at Red Rocks in the 90s with the Grand Piano center stage. Greatness.

After listening to Hornsby's music since the 1980s - finally, I had the opportunity to see a solo performance in Amherst, NY. Was awesome.

Bruce and a piano - there is no other sound like it. I love the Noisemakers but Bruce solo is especially unmatched.
