you have to explore the Monster Arena (right side of Calm Lands) and get stat-boosting spheres first. Farm stat boosting spheres and reach the target is 9999 HP, 255 Str, 255 Def, 170 Agi, and at least 130 Luck. Once done, you need to prep an armor with Auto-Haste, Auto-Protect, Stone-Proof, and Auto-Phoenix/Potion (I prefer Auto-Phoenix). To survive Dark Yojimbo's ambush in the first fight and use Wakizashi, have Auron in your initial party for the First-Strike so you take the first turn, then swap in Rikku and Mix for the Ultra NulAll (Healing Spring x2) for added defense OR just swap in Yuna and use an Aeon as meatshield, OR also use Yojimbo, pay, and hope yours use Zanmato
