Inca is stupidly easy. You can pummel every nation in the andes in 20 years. After that rush to the Colombian coast and then plop a colony down by a colonizer to get up to speed on tech. While doing this fight the mexicans to get their gold
@@rimreldyou can eat all cn without their overlords coming in. All of the andes and mexico makes you #1 gp really fast. No country should be more powerful then you
It can be. In my game, I was able to destroy them in the Americas, but found going to the old world very costly for attrition. I ended up taking footholds in the isles of Scotland and on the coast in the Maghreb. And using those stations to ferry my troops to Europe. With High American tech and a couple stacks the Euopeans avoid you. Definitely recommend if you plan on establishing sunset colonies to do it early as in the late game France becomes very tall and may even eat into Iberia like they did in my game since I annexed all of the Iberians colonies.
One Milan run I had last patch I got a 6/6/6 talented and ambitious daughter who lived till 1499 got the burgundy PU, got the ambrosian republic event, and was unstoppable by 1500.
Hawk I love your stuff but can we please get a guide outside of Europe? Like half of the dlc was on non-European nations. Oirat(or any horde), Hisn Kayfa, Aztec, Inca, etc.

Livonia guide? I'd love to see all those event choices that customise your Livonia. I've never been able to get past the Livonian Order stage, Russia, Denmark, and Poland-Lithuania wipe me out way before it. 😢
The Excommunicated Ruler CB reduces AE not only for adjacent provinces, but for those for which you have a claim as well. So, if it's not adjacent, but you have a claim, then the AE is also halved.
I recommend giving the estate privilige Private trade fleets to burghers for cheaper light ship and ship trade power. Also when finding yourself in a war against your ally Pope , make them release smaller nations which you can vassalize or conquer.
If you get lucky sometimes the Pope will rival and excommunicate Savoy making it manageable to be able to vassalize him and not have half of Europe want to destroy you.
Last time I started a Milan run my ruler had an heir early and then lived long enough that the heir could immediately take over without a regency so the disaster didn't trigger.
Idk, every time I have an urge to play in Italy I just default to Florence. And especially in the later patches, I keep the republic, I keep Medici and I absolutely bathe in ducats and mana. The last time I played it in .36 I think, I also took merc ideas for the first time in 10 years of playing this game, and it was extremely efficient. I should try Milan sometime, but every time I think of Italy, I just can;t stop myself from picking Florence.
Okay i have an issue. I've got an Heir via the event, disinhenrited him, then after the war King died, and instead of regency council i've got a new ruler. The disaster event didn't start.
In my experience Genoa has a nasty habit of allying either France or Aragon+Naples by the time you have a claim on them, especially because of the greater claim cost in the HRE, so I have an aggressive strategy which involves rerolling the start until the Diet gives me a claim on them, as by December they usually only ally/trade league an Italian OPM. Taking Genoa and vassalizing the OPM is a surprisingly decent boost to your economy, and because of the comparative development, you can usually concentrate Genoa's development into Milan and not lose any, i.e. take five development from Genoa, put five development in Milan, which is handy for coring costs, as well as that 150 Lombard development mission. As part of my aggressive style I'm not adverse to growing by four or five provinces before fighting Venice, though this can be pretty heavy on AE. So as a release valve against Venice in my reconquest war I make them release Padua, Verona and Aquilea from the Venezia state, along with my cores. I'm usually large enough that these OPMs can be diplovassalized, and in fact once the Shadow Kingdom fires I'm in a good position to diplovassalize the remaining OPMs, which can save you a lot of coalition-related grief.
Something you can do at game start to trigger the golden ambrosian republic immediately is to introduce an heir and royal marry 3 countries that have less prestige than you do (Bologna, Florence, Siena, and Lucca always work) and the disaster will start ticking the next month. Really good if you wanna get your republican tradition, sforza, and mission tree done early as Milan.
my first war is always venice where i take as much land as possible with around 50 AE and i wait till december so as i peace out the AE goes to 48 so no coalition in start game
No mana privileges for 10 years Strong duchies Lenient taxation Royal marriages Diplo rep guy Religious diplomats A few mercs Seize 2 provinces from Sistan and break their vassalization Get an allies Prestige from burgers That's it
I remember trying Milan years ago, but I got PU'd early on two games in a row. So I gave up and played Florence instead, and then went on to form not just Italy, but also the Roman Empire. I never saw a reason to go back to Milan after that.
Quick note on the Sforza as a commander event, if you are not at war and you do not have any active rebels, the event will trigger. I had to provoke noble rebels after lowering autonomy in all provinces and it popped the first month the rebels were active.

Can we have a guide from any Nation outside of Europe, the new Inca, Aztec and Maya mission trees look nice

Inca is better than it used to be but still exceptionally boring
“Here’s Milan in 1618-“ All I can see at the start is that tasty OPM Provence and the idea of getting cores on all of Naples 🥵🥵
Same, such a bad game for Milan, even having a provence so easily

Milan is one of my favorites although I never play ambrosian republic but military dictatorship, very fun play through.

No link for para bellum I'm the description... Feelsbadman
Milan is my favourite nation. It's just so hard to decide what I want to be when I grow up.
Where is Parabellum link in the description? 🤷♂
It is not there!
You forgot to Link Parabellum in the description lol

As the Ottomans, using only jannisary infantry. No cav, no cannons, take over all of the starting ming territories before 1600.
If you get lucky sometimes the Pope will rival and excommunicate Savoy making it manageable to be able to vassalize him and not have half of Europe want to destroy you.

Stop showing the finished product at the beginning. Sorta ruins the whole video for me.

Fun guide. Just a bit of history: venice and the mamluks were trade partners, not enemies.

I cant find the link?
That royal family tho they breed worth people. *cough* Marina Visconti *cough*
If you combine your name with Mantua you get Hawk Tua
Which other nation can become a military dictatorship tho?
" in the description" its not!😢

Why switching to monarchy? For absolutism I guess, but military dictatorship + offensive ideas sounds super powerful too

When a timurid guide? I can get the vassals loyal
No mana privileges for 10 years
Strong duchies
Lenient taxation
Royal marriages
Diplo rep guy
Religious diplomats
A few mercs
Seize 2 provinces from Sistan and break their vassalization
Get an allies
Prestige from burgers
That's it
The old guide for keeping vassals loyal still works.
But still no achievment with milan ? :(
Typically I wait until lvl4 forts and use the mission for lvl6 forts. When I do that nobody can ever siege down the mountains

Milan is the single best nation to unite Italy with, and for one reason only: It starts with the north already conquered.
Can't you not call Austria into a Genoa war since they're emporer? At least until shadow kingdom
Trebizond guide?
You should do a Saluzzo guide.
Boom
Lol by 1600 you should have at least half europe not half italy . Or if you play tall at least a colonial empire
Leeeeets gooooo
Thanks for accepting my suggestion!
40 seconds and no views. Damn, RedHawk fell off.
