She remained the quiet girl in real life.😂
and her mother, Meáv is no stranger to the spotlight.
She is so cute😅
Just watched the film quiet girl Catherine you deserve this award you are a super talented actress congratulations
Congratulations to Catherine! Love, and more power to her and her career ❤️
I literally knew she was winning from the title of the video and I still have tears in my eyes...her performance was magical and I am so happy for her. She is so talented, precious, and lovely. I hope for a strong career in films (if that's her dream going forward) we would all be more blessed if she continues to nurture her talent!
Most people today overuse and don't know what the word "literally" means or stands for.
She was so dedicated to her role that she's still in character as the quiet girl even months after the film finished shooting 😂 Even better than Austin Butler the Elvis impersonator! Respect to this girl!
Absolutely deserve it if you watch "The quiet girl" you will absolutely love her! That film was so touching! The trees and greenery of this film made me love the movie even more ❤️ and the story was was amazing! It's so hard to describe how much I love this film particularly about the rural village where it was filmed
Catherine- your film has made this world a better place.
i came here after watchin ...... my gosh ..... that is a beautiful movie
Congratulations! Catherine was a powerhouse in The Quiet Girl. Well deserved
absolutely fantastic performance by Catherine Clinch! well deserved.
That film will live in my heart forever.
This award was richly deserved. I've seen "The Quiet Girl" four times now and every viewing leaves me more impressed with Miss Clinch's performance. And she's in pretty well every scene from start to finish. I saw the film again at a local film festival a couple days ago, and you could sense the audience holding its collective breath during the scene in the Kinsellas' car when Cait guardedly answers Eibhlin's questions about what Una asked her, and then let's drop the big secret. There was also applause when the end credits rolled. Can't remember the last time I saw a movie and that happened. A great and beautiful film, and a wonderful film for Father's Day!
Well done, Catherine. Congratulations!
Talented, hope to see Catherine in more films
A truly remarkable and mesmerizing performance. I will never forget it! Thank you Catherine!

Well done, Charlie Cox - perfect pronunciation An Cailín Ciúin.
According to a November 10, 2023 story in the Irish Independent newspaper, a panel of thirty judges from various sectors of the Irish film industry have recently voted “An Cailín Ciúin”-“The Quiet Girl”-to be the best Irish film ever made. Not just the best ever Irish language film, but the best ever Irish film ever made. And young Miss Catherine Clinch played the starring role. Congratulations Catherine! I like to think that you've read, or will read, these comments some day.
I haven’t come across a more insightful or appreciative assessment of Catherine Clinch’s performance in “The Quiet Girl” than this one by James Kendrick in the “Malaysia Sun” for September 8, 2023:
“And the film wouldn't work without the central performance by Catherine Clinch, a complete unknown who has never starred in a film before. Clinch's naturalistic performance is shorn of artifice and mannerisms, achieving a kind of direct purity that seems to transcend "acting." She simply is. As the title suggests, Cait spends much of the film not speaking, but she is nevertheless immensely expressive, with every flick of her eyes, contraction of her shoulders, or shift of weight conveying a world of information about her emotional state-anxieties, fears, desires, hope.”
The best film I saw in 2023
Totally agree!
Kızınız bir melek gibi hanımefendi, güzelliğini de sizden almış... ❤😇🥰🫂
Congratulations Catherine 👏 your a good actor I just watched the film it was good and sad at the ending
Well done and well deserved young lady.
She is indeed a quiet girl.
Charlie💕
Well deserved!!
Meáv's daughter is amazing.
charlie's irish accent was more of a british accent because in kin when he spoke with an irish accent and in the middle of a sentence his british accent would slip but overall kin was such a great show one of my favorites
very pretty congratulations❤
🌟✨🌟✨🌟✨🌟❤
She should have been Oscar nominated
It was, in the category of Best International Feature Film, but it lost out to "All Quiet on the Western Front", even though I think "The Quiet Girl" was a far better film.
@@user-bn9kr6nz5h she should have been
My mistake! I was thinking of the film, not the talented Miss Catherine Clinch.@@emiliobello2538
Why didn't she say anything? A quiet girl?😊😉
Staying in character: consistent with her portrayal.
Wamgy wamgy
Cute 😏
Why didn't her mum (?) let her say anything? I mean, maybe after sobbing a bit, something would have come out, even just a simple and tearful "Thank you". It would have been better than her mum's standard and absolutely meaningless statement. The poor girl actually seemed like wanting to say something at some point, but was just cut off. How disrespectful...
this is so cringy and I would worry about her mother dominating her future
Her mother is quite the accomplished singer.
