That el grande avocados scene has some of the best acting I’ve ever seen. You can’t tell me there wasn’t a hidden camera casually filming two genuine best friends taking a stroll and radiating pure joy and chaotic energy.
I love Matt's slight eye roll when Foggy asks him how many fingers. It's obvious he doesn't even need to his super senses to tell, he just knows Foggy too well.
I had heard good things about this show, but hadn't had time to start following another show with a character I wasn't familiar with....however ...I did see Cox in a play he did with Tom Hiddleston a couple years ago and he was wonderful in it. Very funny, charming and totally charismatic...so I put this show on my "to be watched" list. I'm still in the 1st season and really enjoying it. I agree with everyone that he should be in one of the MCU movies. He'd be a great addition, especially for Spiderman and now that Peter is on his own , it would be nice for him to have an ally he can talk to a little.

I believe the story is his vision was fucked up as the result of a chemical spill in his face. However, his "superpower" is that all of his other sense are heightened to the point where he can perceive the world around him using the other senses to create a kind of mental image. So, he doesn't really need his canes, but as he is legally blind he uses them in public to keep up the appearance that he can't use his other senses to make up for and exceed his lack of sight like he does in daredevil costume. ABSOLUTELY! Daredevil was a perfect example of how to add humor to a show without making it corny or annoying. I loved how natural the banter was between the characters and Matt's smart ass remarks always made me laugh.

The best scene was when he smashed a guy into the windshield of this girls car and then grabs his cane and immediately starts acting like nothing happened. The girl in that car must have been so confused lol..
the moment for me was after the first hallway fight scene he was about to save a little boy and before entering the room he stops and remove his cover from his face for the kid..that moment damn! so much! to help the kid make him feel safe. that moment deserves so much! it is just so pure so vulnerable and precious
ABSOLUTELY! It was such an incredible scene because it was a single show but then when Matt goes and saves that boy that melted my heart. I love that he takes off his mask and talks to the kids to let him know that he is safe then carries him out. HE IS PERFECT.
someone asked Chip Zdarsky, the current daredevil comics writer, if Matt cries during sex and he answered "He cries before sex and he cries after sex, but during sex he has a job to do, so no" I feel like this show perfectly captures that
Charlie Cox is an amazing actor and needs more roles. How can anyone not fall for Matt? I know I would instantly. He is a gentleman and treats women with respect even when telling them to go to hell. I gotta say, Matt Murdock might be the perfection of a hero, and Wilson Fisk a perfection of a villain for a live-action adaptation. Both are similar yet different in many ways. Similarities: Both had childhood upbringings that shaped them into who they became. For Matt, saving that old guy from the truck there and the chemicals blinding Matt turned him into Daredevil. For Fisk, killing his father by caving his head in with a hammer and taking his father's cufflinks turned him into Kingpin. Both Daredevil and Kingpin strive for order and stability in Hell's Kitchen to make it a better place, but with vastly different methods. Differences: Matt believes that fair justice should punish criminals where he beats bad guys senseless and lets the justice system and citizens of Hell's Kitchen rest better knowing they're behind bars. Fisk would do ANYTHING to ensure he is on top whether by brutal means, ruining innocent lives, or even mercilessly killing other criminals or subordinates that fail him.
I honestly think Daredevil was the MCU’s (I know he was developed by Marvel Studios but he’s in the MCU now) best take on a completely down-to-earth hero. Even Tom Holland’s Spider-Man constantly faced off against world-ending events. Here Daredevil really does feel like a regular guy with a job who happens to also fight against street-level punks. I mean, compared to Thanos, Kingpin is barely anything. And yet this series managed to make me so invested in the damage he was doing to just one city of New York. I think that’s really impressive and meaningful, and hope the Disney Plus version of this show is able to capture at least some of that.
That one scene in No Way Home made me fall in love. I instantly went to binge Daredevil afterwards. I’m sad I didn’t know who he was beforehand, I would’ve freaked at the cameo.

Yknow, I’ve only read Daredevil comics; my friends tell me about this show but I’ve never watched it, I was afraid it wouldn’t be the Daredevil I came to know from the source material So the biggest compliment I can give you is that this video made me start watching the show

Fun fact about the brick catching scene. In Corridor Crew SFX artist react, the guest said that the thrown object was actually snow globe. But due to plot reason they change it to brick. So that was SFX brick. You can still see the way their hands were in the shape of holding a globe shape object.

favorite character in the entire MCU by far, i was jumping with joy when i saw him appear in No Way Home i hope we see more of him because Charlie Cox is an excellent actor, and plays Matt Murdock like he was born to do it
Words can't express how happy I am that they're bringing him back. Even if he's not quite as dark or gritty as the Daredevil from the Netflix show, I'm glad to see Charlie Cox in the role again. I was so gutted when the series was canceled four years ago. It was one of my favorite things Marvel has ever done.

I gotta say, Matt Murdock might be the perfection of a hero, and Wilson Fisk a perfection of a villain for a live-action adaptation. Both are similar yet different in many ways.
Similarities: Both had childhood upbringings that shaped them into who they became. For Matt, saving that old guy from the truck there and the chemicals blinding Matt turned him into Daredevil. For Fisk, killing his father by caving his head in with a hammer and taking his father's cufflinks turned him into Kingpin. Both Daredevil and Kingpin strive for order and stability in Hell's Kitchen to make it a better place, but with vastly different methods.
Differences: Matt believes that fair justice should punish criminals where he beats bad guys senseless and lets the justice system and citizens of Hell's Kitchen rest better knowing they're behind bars. Fisk would do ANYTHING to ensure he is on top whether by brutal means, ruining innocent lives, or even mercilessly killing other criminals or subordinates that fail him.
I honestly think Daredevil was the MCU’s (I know he was developed by Marvel Studios but he’s in the MCU now) best take on a completely down-to-earth hero. Even Tom Holland’s Spider-Man constantly faced off against world-ending events. Here Daredevil really does feel like a regular guy with a job who happens to also fight against street-level punks.
I mean, compared to Thanos, Kingpin is barely anything. And yet this series managed to make me so invested in the damage he was doing to just one city of New York. I think that’s really impressive and meaningful, and hope the Disney Plus version of this show is able to capture at least some of that.

That one scene in No Way Home made me fall in love. I instantly went to binge Daredevil afterwards. I’m sad I didn’t know who he was beforehand, I would’ve freaked at the cameo.
NO WAY! I was hoping that his cameo in No Way Home would spark a few new fans. I personally lost my shit when his cane came into the frame. It was such a short cameo but man it was great to see Matt Murdock on the big screen. Well welcome to the DD Fandom!
Same, but I didn’t know who he was and I didn’t love him. After Daredevil came out on Disney+, my brother and I watched the series and I don’t think Matt effected him the way he effected me. I love him now and OH BOY WHAT A GREAT TIME IT IS TO BE A DAREDEVIL FAN! Plus, I didn’t even remember the scene from No Way Home. I wish I could see that scene again for the first time and know who Matt was.
Yknow, I’ve only read Daredevil comics; my friends tell me about this show but I’ve never watched it, I was afraid it wouldn’t be the Daredevil I came to know from the source material

I love the zoomed out shot where he's dangling the dude off the building, and he's perched on the edge. It's not a very relaxed scene, but him sitting up there with his ankles crossed - makes me smile every time.
Right!? I know that's a serious scene where he's just trying to get information but that shot of him sitting on the top of the building watching this guy hang by his feet always makes me laugh! Then he says "I'm listening" so nonchalantly 😂😂😂😂 He's a comedy king!

they're either bringing the show back or putting him in movies. filming for daredevil projects starts later this year

Fun fact about the brick catching scene. In Corridor Crew SFX artist react, the guest said that the thrown object was actually snow globe. But due to plot reason they change it to brick. So that was SFX brick. You can still see the way their hands were in the shape of holding a globe shape object.

Words can't express how happy I am that they're bringing him back. Even if he's not quite as dark or gritty as the Daredevil from the Netflix show, I'm glad to see Charlie Cox in the role again. I was so gutted when the series was canceled four years ago. It was one of my favorite things Marvel has ever done.
