My grandma and I watched the original series when it was brand new on Netflix I showed her how the Kingpin returned in Hawkeye, how Murdock returned in Spiderman We watched Echo and enjoyed that I lost grandmother just a couple months ago, it makes me terribly sad we won’t get to watch this together because we were both VERY hyped for it I’m very excited to see this show and I know already she would have loved it
I offer my condolences. She'll always be there with you. I had a uncle who fanboyed out for comics. Lost him almost 10 years. The things our loved ones aren't around to experience. Watch it with her in mind.
The bond between myself and my oldest daughter is the MCU and especially the Daredevil series. We followed the same path as y'all did. Just hoping these moments will last well beyond my time here.
When Elden and Deborah were talking about returning and seeing each other on the first day, it hit me right in the feels. It is so good to see these characters back together again, and it is so wholesome to not only see this, but know that Marvel listened to the fans and for us as fans to know that we have actually saved this show and helped create reunions that would have never happened without us wanting to bring these characters back.
The actual outcome remains to be seen, but I think that the show was saved not only by the fans, Charlie and Vincent did their part too. Born Again wasn't planned at first as it is now, Charlie and Vincent somehow convinced Feige that Karen and Foggy had to be in the show, that they had to keep a similar tone, and that the events in the previous show happened and are canon.
I hope that other studios use this as an example. They are creating content for the fans, and the best people to consult are the fans. So glad Foggy and Karen are back! 😊
There was no way in hell the fandom will stand down peacefully if Elden and Deb weren't coming back. You can't do this show without those two . I'm glad they're back.
Vincent D'Onofrio (Wilson Fiske) and Jon Bernthal (Frank Castle) were in Law & Order: Criminal Intent when they were younger. That was the show Vincent was talking about. Jon played a troubled child and Vincent was able to figure out the the real Intent behind his troubles to solve the crime.
The whole Defenders universe is so great…. I know some people didn’t like certain shows. But the grounded approach even to fantastical stories at time was amazing. I hope they all come back.

Daredevil trilogy had one of the best acting in any show , Karen page in season 1 was so good , Nelson in season 1 and 2 , daredevil and punished were awesome and the Wilson Fisk should have definitely won an Emmy or something. Great casting can’t wait

Same! Seeing them all smiling and chatting has me hopeful. When Elden Henson didn’t appear in any panels or interviews about Born Again before, I began to worry that maybe he wasn’t happy with how the show turned out. But here he seems pretty content.
Notice how in most interviews, the main actors sit closely to the interviewer? Here it is just opposite and I love it! It shows that Daredevil and Punisher isn't complete without their friends and also their enemies!
Fisk was one of the scariest bad guys on screen. He gave me nightmares. It is such a pleasure to see Vincent D’Onofrio laughing and being a non-scary person. Proves that he’s a fantastic actor. In fact, the whole cast is fantastic. They became real and not just characters. I am a big fan of the show.

As much as I loved all the action in the netflix series my favorite scene in the series was the graveyard scene when the punisher tells daredevil the reason for the "nickel and dime" phrase before pulling the trigger. Both of there performances were next level and pulled you in and made you feel something. Im super excited to see what the new one has to offer
He had a tiny part in CI so the fact Vincent remembered him (or at the very least was reminded by someone and was sweet enough to bring it up) must have meant a lot to Jon!
Coincidentally I watched the series after 10 years. It was one of my favourites in terms of character development and action. Casting was perfect etc. Then I started looking on internet, what happened to the cast, any plans? I was so happy to see there was a fan group saving the show.
Oh, if there even *was* a sound person, they heard it. Likely a producer failing to understand the needs of production, ended up with 1 lav and a boom, no sound person was hired. Only lav mic is placed on host. I’m betting it’s because they’re not equipped to record full casts - likely accustomed to 1-2 cast members under a boom mic with host on lav. These problems start above the line.
We truly saved daredevil. The fans truly got a real win.

Same! Seeing them all smiling and chatting has me hopeful. When Elden Henson didn’t appear in any panels or interviews about Born Again before, I began to worry that maybe he wasn’t happy with how the show turned out. But here he seems pretty content.

Fisk was one of the scariest bad guys on screen. He gave me nightmares. It is such a pleasure to see Vincent D’Onofrio laughing and being a non-scary person. Proves that he’s a fantastic actor. In fact, the whole cast is fantastic. They became real and not just characters. I am a big fan of the show.

Yay! I'm so glad the original cast are all back. I was worried they wouldn't include Deborah Ann Woll, which would have been criminal! So happy to see them all there! Getting excited for the new chapter.
Soooo glad they brought back Foggy and Karen. Dunno whatever they were making in the last script, but it sounded bunk.
As much as I loved all the action in the netflix series my favorite scene in the series was the graveyard scene when the punisher tells daredevil the reason for the "nickel and dime" phrase before pulling the trigger. Both of there performances were next level and pulled you in and made you feel something. Im super excited to see what the new one has to offer
So excited for this to come back! I really hope we get some Karen/Frank scenes, their dynamic is so great to watch.

Coincidentally I watched the series after 10 years. It was one of my favourites in terms of character development and action. Casting was perfect etc.
Then I started looking on internet, what happened to the cast, any plans? I was so happy to see there was a fan group saving the show.

Oh, if there even *was* a sound person, they heard it. Likely a producer failing to understand the needs of production, ended up with 1 lav and a boom, no sound person was hired. Only lav mic is placed on host. I’m betting it’s because they’re not equipped to record full casts - likely accustomed to 1-2 cast members under a boom mic with host on lav. These problems start above the line.
