This film is an absolute gem. Everything about it is amazing. If you haven't seen it, please make the time. Don't miss it!
It's like a delicate cinematic poem, the best film I've seen in a long, long time.

The first time I saw "The Quiet Girl" I was caught off guard by the emotional effect of the final scene, even though the buildup to that moment begins about 20 minutes earlier in the film. I've seen the film twice more since then and still get misty-eyed at the end. It's a uniquely beautiful film, a miniature masterpiece that I'm sure will be enjoyed for years to come. I think Catherine Clinch has made her mark in cinema history. Whatever she does with the rest of her life, she'll always be the Quiet Girl. I was very happy to have this opportunity to hear the behind the scenes story of how the film was made from those involved.

Me too. That final scene. I didn't see it coming. The tears were running down my face. So beautiful.

This is a gorgeous, complex, and emotionally moving film in every way. It's one of my all-time favorites. Carrie Crowley's performance is unforgettable. Thank you all for making this film.

A great and authentic felt movie. I cringed at some points in the movie. And cried. A great film.

Sorry I don’t meant to be negative, but this is an unwieldy format with so many contributors. Interesting discussion all the same. What is striking is the maternal protective relationship between Carrie and Catherine, mirroring their on screen roles. I’ve seen this in other interviews and it sums up how the actors really absorbed this wonderful story. Thanks.

re: maternal; So true. Adds even more to the authenticity of the film and story.
