- The acreage build starts NOW!
It's time for me to get to work as the house is under construction! Over 1,700 yards of fill dirt were brought in, over 4 kilometres of wire run and I finally got my Bobcat and Tractor. The work officially begins!
Subscribe and come along for the ride as I show you every satisfying detail of the construction of my acreage! From building a custom detailing studio and shop, to building a new house...that's just the beginning! The projects only get bigger as I build one of the most beautiful, unique and epic acreages around!
It’s obvious you’ve put many hours of observation and planning into your property. I wish we’d had that opportunity when we built our house. We’d have brought in a lot more fill to cut down on water erosion. Great job Mitch, can’t wait to see more!
Your work ethic is very respectable.
You have the best canadian life.
I could watch a vid like this that was an hour long. We need longer vids!! Love this series!!!
1:34 I hadn't known what a backhoe is before this video. glad I learned this before finding myself in an embarrassing moment 🤣
It's actually incredible the forward planning you did for this channel. You were collecting footage from two years ago! Your hard drive must be full to bursting!
Is anybody wondering what Mike did 😆
Yep it’s been a long time coming!
I’m guessing Mike continued to increase the value of Tim Horton shares, and up the economy of yoga videos
Mitch, this is awesome! This is the start of an amazing homestead channel if you so desire. The potential of the leftover land is huge! Get yourself some goats, pigs, cows, chickens or a combination of all four, and start your own self sufficient home! I'll get a passport and come help if you want! lol.
This is the start of a great channel if you continue it! Show us the whole journey and progress of the new land! I'll be here every step of the way!
Totally awesome and great that the dirt was free to take care of your landscaping needs, what a beautiful piece of property. Congratulations on all of it and your hard work and determination to accomplish everything.
Great to see a genuine Canadian entrepreneur out there and sharing the blueprint. Good stuff, Mitch 👍
Honestly never thought I’d get so much enjoyment out of watching you build the acreage up and talking about what your plans are. Keep working hard bro, you earned it!💪🏼💪🏼
Yayyyy a detail geek weekend!!! Can't wait for the next video🎉...also idk why but I can't picture you being livid you just seem so cool and chill but you definitely had every reason to be in that situation!
Mr. Mitch, truly a testament to hard work and planning and the blessings that come from it. It was interesting to see the neighbors have flooding issues on their properties well. I am guessing they have probably become used to flooding on their own land. ;-) That was pretty wild. I am looking forward to seeing your progress. Prayers for your safety, discernment, and joy with all you do! God bless! ~John
Thank you!
That was amazing Beautiful well planned job ❤ HARD work too. But I truly admire your dedication, ability and stamina
The best being tired and just plane "done" for the day feeling is working in your own yard.
Yay! Watching my first yard geek video! So excited!
Mitch…if I were to ever undertake a project of the scope and scale you’ve taken on…I would hire you as a consultant to help walk me through the details. Your expertise and dedication to detail is unmatched on any level I’ve seen in my 65+ years!
You are a role model to anyone!!!
Thank you!
Let's Go, We Here For It 🎉
Wow what a blessing to get all that dirt for free! Your one awesome and very wise business man Mitch I must say!
These are the best videos ever!
Thanks for sharing this with us😅

I’m looking forward to more videos!!
gosh wonder how much sleep you get. I need this energy atm and watching others work hard like this gives u a mental boost thats for sure.
I hope to see longer videos of your house builds etc
Hey Mitch,
You are doing amazing work, keep it up along with your muscles!!!😉❤️
Always Amazing!!!🎉
Thank you!
Only 58 feet. I wish😂 my granary bought land in Arizona up north. He had a well drilled. It was 740ft deep. Then he hit an aquifer. Best water I've ever drank. Still runs to this day. Can fill a 4000gal water tank in 2hrs. Good luck to you Mitch.
That was good stuff. Thank You for sharing.
Why am I getting so invested in this? lol Good stuff
Before I play the first second of the video, let me like it already because this series is 🔥

So excited to watch this evolution of the yard 😁
A lot of hard work but at the end it's going to look amazing
Yeah,buddy!!
Fascinating! Looking forward to all the future videos! You must not sleep much!
Not as much as I should 😄
Loving this yard journey ❤
The Detail Geek indeed, sir. This is every bit as detail oriented as your cars. So proud to know you through this medium.
No matter what, this man never disappoints!
Very happy for you. Congratulations! 👏🏾
Thank you 🙌
You live like four hrs away and it’s funny how you say the winter is long. Lol. Drive up north a little. lol.
Nice 👍🏼🙂
Thanks 😁
Wow Mitch love this channel and the work you have done its going to look amazing. Love the layout and the size of the property nothing like having your own space.
Looks amazing living the dream 👌 defo need longer videos than 10 mins tho 😂
Barrow some goats and weed it naturally 😊 they can get rid of everything with out chemicals. I’m not not here to get crazy about round up but goats are definitely better 🐐 and so cute 🥰
Place looks awesome man!! I’d recommend green giant arborvitae’s!!! Like you’re putting the money you’re making to good use! John Deere and Hondas!!!
Thanks man!
I strongly recommend rain water collecting, maybe in just a few small rain barrels or even a underground cistern. For the size of the land i recommend you 10-50 m³ (353-1756 cubic feet) of volume and also a dripping system of slow but not so much evaporating water distribution.
Magical! Looking forward to watching this series!
Wow! Wow! Wow!
As someone who parks my car as far away from other cars in a parking lot as possible, won't drive it to places where I can't do that, I can feel your pain for what they did to your tractor.
Average American dreams of a pool or basketball court in their yard, average Canadian dreams of a hockey rink.
Thank you Mitch! 👊👍Awesome progress my friend 👏 Have a wonderful day, stay safe and take care 🙏 God Bless
Appreciate you!
Thanks! You too!
I would love to see you detail if u can do it, a semi truck that would be so cool
i dont know if you know about FRENCH DRAINS but its a method of taking care of drainagre situations and if you have not heard opf them i highly recommend you check into them even if you are finished for the time being because if the drainage isnt fixed right you will have to deal with it again and again till its right.,. anyway have a great day
Your plans sounds good! It'll look great after it's done.
Looks pretty good! If you haven’t planted grass yet, you should rent a harley rake for the skid steer to get the rocks out if their is any.
Sooo excited!
Would you be able to do a house tour one day at all? Otherwise, awesome job thus far.
Loving the update.
So well edited and informative. Great speaker too
Thank you!
🎉wow! Just love watching the progress, love these clean, hardworking videos you put out!!! keep them coming . from Florida!
Thank you! Will do!
This is very impressive!
What a great start! Keep em coming Mitch 😊
Mitch you are an Awesome and very smart chap. The amount of work you do yourself is a real credit to you! One question? How on earth do you fit everything in? Including transforming vehicles?
You really amaze me 😊
This was great! So awesome that you were able to get all that dirt for free! Such a win! Can’t wait to see more!
Loving this new series!!
Man, keep up the good work!👍
I'm so excited to watch this channel! Congratulations on all your hard work. It's definitely paying off!
Thank you so much!!
I love clean looking plots.
on a funny note, Europe is kinda going the other way. they're more and more listing to environmentalists and push for not cutting back overgrow. they say, this is like a hotel for insects and such and can help with-I dunno; nothing I'm an expect at, but has to do with the environment, as I got it.
so, about four or five years ago, they pretty much stopped mowing the grass on the side of the road.
and actually ask land owners to leave the grass higher (or at least to create "islands" of uncultivated patches.
I dislike it, but that's where things developed towards.
so, I wouldn't be too surprised for such bylaws to change again at one point.
You put so much time and effort in to these videos it is very fun to watch also when you post I can’t wait to see the notification pop up on my phone thank you so
Glad you like them!
Awesome can't wait to watch and follow along the journey
You are so awesome!! I can’t wait to see more!!❤️
Hello Mitch, you have a beautiful property, can’t wait to see all of your new content. You are such an admirable and hard working man. Just curious, do you have a family of your own? Sending love and blessings, the best is yet to come for sure 🥰💙🙏🏼🍁
from what I can tell, this is about the best kept secret on this channel.
no sight of anyone aside Mitch; well, his lazy twin Mike; but he doesn't really count, lol.
there's not even a subtle hint. which means, this is by design!
which further means, it's nothing he wants to share and we probably need to accept and respect this.
also watching him for dunno, a year or so, the enormous size of his newly built house is the first somewhat harder evidence that it's highly unlikely, he built this all for himself alone, lol.
I mean, he built an entire house right next to his studio without anyone noticing anything: *that's* how good he's with hiding stuff.
Your such a good man❤ whom ever marries you is very lucky❤❤
I hope next spring all the calculations to fix your drainage works out. I imaging it is a bit frustrating to have to wait a whole year to find out for sure if it works out as planned or not.
Must be nice to have that kind of money. Good for you and your success.
I work excavation professionally approaching 20 years this makes me 🍌. Missed the initial posting ****
Loved it!
The dedication and hard work you really put into all the things you do shows that your always working! Good for you Mitch and I can’t wait to see more of the progress in the future!
I appreciate that!
Botdog is here. That's great to see. You're right. Mitch is a hard worker. Wow
Great Job! Your my favorite detailer !
I'm so excited to see everything come together! I hope one day I have the opportunity to do something like this too.
Wow Mitch! You are amazing. I can't wait to see the results. You are truly awesome!!
Thank you!
Wow, you sure have a lot of stuff and ambition to do what you are doing, for someone who is so young. It's really impressive. Hope everything goes smoothly. I enjoy your car care videos and your now yard geek endeavors.. good luck with everything Mitch.
Thank you so much 😀
@@TheYardGeek so your building your new detail shop, are you going to do more than one detail per day? I guess one is all you can do with the maximum effort that you put into each one. Because they sure are amazing transformations.
@@wesleyperry2037no, this wasn't a video showing current events but what happened in the past.
his new shop is already brought to good use since he sold his old place.
almost all details, he doesn't complete within one day. but no, the new shop won't see more than one per week (it's a filming studio.)
he typically keeps the car two to three days.
detailing while filming is slower by a large margin.
if you want to see how he builds his studio, there's a very in depth series showing every single step with a through explanation over on his second channel. just search for, "the detail geek 2."
Thanks for the video!
Excellent deal on the dirt!
❤❤❤❤❤❤

58 feet! When we lived in Maryland our well was 420 feet down!
Awesome
This is goals man! Pretty nice to see and cant wait to see more. Little recommendation when placing the go pro or camera on the bobcat angle it up a little more and maybe with a wider lens so you (the viewer) can see a little more other than that man great work cant wait to see this acreage build and grow to be the home/place of your dreams!
