I had my eyes on the NX ever since the 1st gen launched in 2014. I joined TMMC right after graduation with no knowledge of the 2nd gen NX project, but it turned out to be impeccable timing and I was assigned the Underbody Pilot Lead. After 2 years of sweat and blood for this thing of absolute beauty, I just could not resist splurging on it. Plus the employee discount was an icing on the cake!

Congratulations! I have never seen a delivery salesperson give you such a detailed delivery experience. That's the way every new car purchase should be. I bought a 2023 honda CRV hybrid 2 weeks ago and my delivery experience was nothing more than 5 mins at most.
She’s awesome.
usually the more luxury the vehicle is, the more the sales people try to give you an experience you won't forget

I just purchased the 2024 Lexus NX 250 Premium in the same color combo (Nori Green/Palomino interior). It’s a beautiful car and a smooth ride. Congrats, I picked mine up a week ago (Sadly not green) and feel much like you, love it and I was nervous driving it home as well (Ontario drivers). Your experience with the sales lady was head and shoulders better than what I received. This was very helpful to fill in the gaps and refresh my memory. Thanks

Congratulations!! It’s a beautiful car. I just purchased a 2024 NX350h and I absolutely love it. First tank of gas got me 524 miles on 2/19 and I’m still not at half a tank. You will get lots of comments enjoy it.

I have a Grecian water 350h and honestly it’s the first car I’ve ever felt driving it each day it felt brand new off the assembly line. It’s haven’t felt old yet after the honeymoon phase. I’ve had honda/Acura my whole life and the fun goes away after a few months. Congrats
yea it's an absolutely amazing driving machine, not in the traditional sporty sense, but just smoothness and serenity is unmatched. Grecian water is a great color I definitely considered that as well.

Got mine mid June. Same Nori green colorway and engine. But Black/rich creme interior. Looks like british racing/rover green. Love it.

Your new NX350h is just breathtaking! Congratulations! I have a 2020 Rav4 XSE hybrid that I thought was built in Woodstock but it could have been from Cambridge if they also assemble the Rav4 hybrid there. I have an eye open for a new NX350h in the future but I may just settle for a Rav4 Limited hybrid. The nearest Lexus dealership from Sudbury is in Barrie.

If you are going to lease, I would consider the Bimmer also, but if you want it long term in a buy, Lexus is way to go

I have a 350h with exactly the same package. Make sure you adjust the equalizers in the car and on your phone to see what ML system can do. It's amazing. It's the first car I intend to keep. You'll be happy with it.

@@william6765yep, I changed my wife’s 24 NXH at 1k miles, the next one will be at 5K miles. Currently only have 2.4K miles on her.
I'm going to have to call up my dealer and change the color now. That Nori Green looks amazing!
Got about 5 months left on the waiting list, so dreadful.
Getting a new car is fun but also a pain. Something new to worry about and deal with dents and chips. I went with a top spec CX5. Your front parking sensor camera speed should be adjustable because 10 mph is crazy fast. Should be able to set it for about 2 mph.
And the damages were ?

Yep mazda3 is the OG for a lot of people haha. I went to 3 dealerships got quoted 12, 8, and 5 months. Went with the 5 months one obviously but then they delivered in 3.
hi - how long did you have to wait after placing your order before the car arrived? I just ordered an NX350h with the executive package also. Like you, I am in the GTA. So curious as to what I can expect wait wise.

Love the car and spec. Which wheels are those? I’m in the US and about to order one; however, I can’t seem to find that wheel option
They're the 20" wheels that come with the Canadian executive package (top trim). I was not aware of this before but I think a few people have mentioned the wheel options are not identical between US and Canada. Not sure why though.

I didn't since I got a pretty generous discount with this, on top of reliability and efficiency being high on my priority list this was a no brainer. But if I didnt I probably would've gotten a Toyota hybrid or perhaps another Mazda

It's been fantastic! the comfort, efficiency, tech (adaptive cruise+lane tracing) and sound system make this the absolute perfect daily commuter. I wont be taking it on any long trips till the winter so cant quite comment on the space practicality yet, but really not expecting any huge issues there. Looking forward to seeing what it's like in the winter with the digital latch and steering switches, hopefully not too much issues. Also looking forward to my winter tire setup with downsized 18" wheels see if its more comfortable/quiet compared to the 20" run flats. Will probably provide another update early next year!

Ordering one. How does the seat feel? I felt like it was hitting my right arm. I hope I get used to it.
my gf and I both really enjoy the seats they're just the right amount of support without being too soft or firm, and good adjustability too (more so on driver than passenger side though). did you try out the hybrid or fsport model? fsport seats have more bolstering and yea i found them a little less comfortable.
What wheels are those on your NX? I don’t think we get that in the US
these are 20" wheels, i think come standard with the executive package (top trim) for the 350h in Canada. I do believe I've seen other variants of the 20" wheels on the 350h, might be a trim below but i'm not sure. The 350 f sport wheels are different as well.
I just commented a few minutes ago that I think the Canadian spec 20 inch wheels look better than a U.S spec 20 inch wheels!
u still liking the colour? Looking at a used 2022 NX350h Nori Green Ultra Luxury package with same interior as yours. 34k km vs a New off the lot 2024 NX350h black standard package, less km but $3k more. Not sure what to get, what do you think?
Personally I'd take the 22 ultra luxury to be honest. I can see black is nice on some more "classy" cars but doesn't suit the NX imo. There's no noticeable changes between the 2 model years as well.

It could potentially but shouldn't be a crazy amount. Maybe a few weeks difference max would be my best guess.

thank you! I'm extremely lucky to have access to employee discount so my price was cut and dried. I think cross shopping a few dealerships should help you establish a good base line and dont be afraid to walk out if it doesnt feel right. Wish you best of luck!

yep the NX has 4 powertrains total: regular 4 cyl (NX250), 4 cyl turbo (NX350), regular hybrid (350h), and plug in hybrid (450h+)

You can try the closing sound of MAZDA CX5 and NX 350H. The material of MAZDA is not inferior to LEXUS at all. I own these two cars.
I have no doubt Mazda has been rock solid lately. If I didn't have employee discount the CX50 def would've been a contender. also worth pointing out the Mazda3 windows were down so that made it worse than it should lol

Canadian executive which is top and fully loaded. Not 100 sure how American trims/options work but I know it's quite different
@@YBrianL ok thanks, I put a down payment and waiting for the 2024 nx350h premium. You would wait awhile if you want that executive and color in US; I like the self parking feature of the executive trim.
Thanks for recording all of this. My customer experience person did not show me how to use the parking options so this was helpful. I got the ultra luxury package also, with the same interior colour which I love! Why were you so worried about getting home safely? That really confuses me.
just paranoid haha. I've been accident free for over 10 years and my gf joked that I wouldn't even care if something actually happened to the mazda3, but now that I have a brand new car I'll be perpetually worried.

Yep it was a factory order. I’d ask around for the shortest lead time and in general bigger dealerships should be faster. I was quoted 10 months, 8, and 5 in 3 separate dealerships. Went with the 5 month quote but ended up getting it within 4
They told me that they are not taking orders and I can’t order a new one and I had to be on a list ! When they call me about a car coming in it is not like what I want just basic stuff on it not even a digital mirror crazy
@@williamseay7983 it'll depend on your area (how common it is for them to get NX 350h) as well as the dealership you're talking to. I (idiotically) left a deposit with a dealership in NYC back in November and was quoted a 6 month estimate. After 6 months I took my deposit back due to bad customer service and no updates and then gave a deposit to another dealership in NJ. the NYC dealership called me back 3 days after issuing me a refund letting me know that they magically found the car I want (it wasn't exactly the car I wanted, but it was close). a day after that, the NJ dealership found the exact car I wanted with all the specs and colors I requested (I went with the luxury pkg with the pano roof and view monitor). the vehicle is in transit from japan right now and hopefully i'll be taking delivery soon.
Curious to hear what @YBrianL means by factory order because lexus doesn't allow customers to fill out a sheet of what they want in their car and have it custom built for them. they did allow it for about a month back in Feb/Mar but stopped after 2024 models were in production
@@steng15882 I got my NX350h with the TMMC employee discount and I think we're not even allowed to use that on dealer inventory cars for the most part. So we have to do a factory order with the discount. Not sure if my dealership was allowing regular buyers to do factory order.
@@YBrianL wow havent even heard of the TMMC before but thats awesome! my reps were telling me that they could submit orders to toyota but more so as a preference and not an exact build. might work differently if you have the dealership helping you
