Excellent review Brian. We recently purchase a 2024 NX 350h luxury package and love it. I joked with my wife about replacing the awful run flat tires as they're rough and extremely noisy. As fate or luck would have it, two weeks later she ran over multiple screws on the outer edges of the tires that couldn't be repaired at Discount Tire or Costco. We quickly ended up putting the Michelin Cross Climate 2's on the vehicle and it's literally a night & day difference. My wife & I love the quietness, ride, and overall top ratings across the board (rain, snow, etc.) but love the looks (which is subjective) of the tire itself. Overall, the hybrid system is amazing and smooth, and MPG has been a constant 39 to 40 mpg due to lots of freeway traffic. We did just return from a 210 mile trip over two mountain passes and checked the mileage via total gallons divided into total miles and it returned 43mpg using super unleaded. Next up will be the hybrid Tundra in a few more years.

(I can't tell what the laser lights are like on the BMW. My dad has LED lights and I have a quad-LED lights with AHS on the NX).
The powertrain of the X3 is unmatched. I don’t even understand why people buy the M versions. The 2 liter turbo combined with the dual clutch transmission is super peppy and responsive and never lacked power. But that’s where the good things end, for me. I’ve rented a low mileage one and already had a check engine light on, piano plastic was starting to peel on the dash, weird noises coming from the back when going over bumps, window regulator started to break, seats were not comfortable, so low to the ground that it felt more like a car than and SUV, and it just didn’t feel like a premium product to me. But man.. so fun to drive.
you mention how your driving experience is very open and i related to that, then i see you on Ottawa and Howland and realize we live in the exact same city XD. I have a 2020 but looking to upgrade to either the RX, and ux 300, or just try something completely different and get a new Tacoma for camping. Thanks for the indepth review!
As a prospective NX buyer, I found this long term owner review very helpful! A few questions (1) have you experienced any battery issues? (2) is glare an issue with the large infotainment screen? (3) how has the piano gloss black interior held up after a year? Thanks!
No issues with 12v thus far. The central infotainment screen is optically bonded so very minimal glare in my experience. The digital rear view mirror can be susceptible to glare tho. I don’t have much complaints over the piano black I keep a cloth in the car and give the dash/center console a quick wipe every few weeks or so.
Very helpful review for an owner’s point of view. I’m currently a Volvo XC60 Inscription owner (this is my third one & previously owned 3 XC70’s) and now considering a NX350h. Your input and timely as I’m deciding between another Volvo or a Lexus. Much thanks for posting.
I considered this but went with a top spec CX5 turbo instead. After 10 months I still love it and everything works as it should. I preferred the slightly more traditional looking interior, hard buttons, conventional drivetrain and about 30k cheaper. If it shits itself I will try an NX like yours. The NX is a better built car but a CX5 still gets the job done. Excellent review and very helpful.
Glad it was helpful! 2024 there are some additional bracing in the underbody and color matching gloveboxes in interior. 2025 I'm not so sure actually other than new copper crest color
Thank you. Extremely well covered. I’m currently strongly considering this vehicle. Good enough for me to subscribe. Looking forward to seeing your other videos
Very good summary. Have had an NX350h for 3 weeks and it drives as you well state. Probably the best in class. One niggle that might not show up in Canada and other northern climes: in very bright, white sunlight as we’ve here in Florida much of the info displayed on the instrument panel, even with brightness turned to the max, gets washed out and difficult to read, even more so with the roof open. Also there’s too much piano black in front of the driver and on the console and the otherwise excellent 14” screen could be improved if it came with non-reflective glass. Just too much glitz and gloss for strong sunshine areas. Otherwise a very very fine chariot!
Thanks for this nice review. Now I'm thinking of cancelling my reservation for the 2025 model, and just get a CPO 2024 NX350h Premium to save at least 10k.🙃😊
Frozen door handles is a common issue - dealership should be able to replace your door handle, but I haven't found a technical service bulletin with an actual fix for good. Good update video!
Cool wheels! Congrats on the choice! "Lexus leads" the efficiency? I don't know... I was shocked with its lower level master company, Toyota, now has a 25 Camry that does 44-51 MPG, very close to Prius... yeah, I know, those are very different vehicles but I wonder if in the next few years we'll have a NX350H as economical as Prius, since gas prices are ridiculous nowadays... And when we'll have hybrids with solid state batteries?!... But that's for my next car in the future... For now I'm enjoying my 1 month old NX350H. Thanks for the review!
Have my 350 NX for 2 months now upgraded from 2019 300 nx sport. Love this 2025 NX and big improvement the only criticism is the 2019 sport handled better otherwise I’m glad I bought the NX 350
on the long highway drives i always use the LTA and RCC, the only gripe I have is that in doesn't find the apex of turns (while staying in the lane, this would probably require an Ai engine), it just traces the lane which if you are trying to hyper mile this can eat away at your MPG
I own the same car, with same trim level (love the HUD and Mark Levinson sound system) and even same colour combination. The green colour gets lots of complements. Thanks for the review - it made me aware of a few features!
Thanks for the great review, Brian. I just bought a 2024 NX350H and like it a lot, except for the run-flats, which I've had before on another car and what you describe is what I expected. I was wondering if you will continue to use the 18 inch wheels with your summer or all season tires if you get rid of the run-flats? Some say that 18-inch tires like the 235 60 18s are great for a smoother ride while the rough spots, potholes etc are felt a lot more with the 235 50 20s. Thanks again.
I'm in a bit of a dilemma because of that lol, I like the look of the larger rims but I definitely enjoy the better ride and fuel economy of smaller rims. Not sure what I'll do maybe depends on which tires wear out first
I've had my NX350h for two months, and love it. But about those wipers! Glad I'm not the only one that the incomplete swipe drives crazy. The wipers give me flashbacks to the first car I ever bought many years ago...a 1967 VW Bug. That's not a positive comparison, Lexus! They need to fix this.
Hi Brian , need your expert advice: I am considering RX 350h vs NX 350h. We are family of 3. Could you please suggest which one will be your pick? Which trim ? Is extra money for RX is worth it ? (I know it depends on personal preference but would love to know your pick). Thanks
if there's a fourth one coming anytime soon then RX absolutely :D If not then size wise NX should be just fine. powertrain wise they have near identical stats but I'd expect the NX to feel slightly more nimble/maneuverable. The main difference honestly is looks and interior refinement. For me, on one hand RX has better materials, noise isolation and ambient lighting, on the other hand I like NX's looks more. I'd still choose NX though
TLDR, RX is worth it if you like its looks better and you actually notice/care about the better noise/materials/lighting, and if you need the slight extra room
Hey Brian, you make the best reviews of the NX I’ve seen yet. Very detailed and on the owner’s perspective which is way different than salesperson. Just a question, what are the exact spec of those Braelin wheels ? I am thinking getting those in black for myself in 18” as well.
Brian, have you heard of any way (by us or dealer) to adjust the capacitive sensitivity of the NX350H steering wheel "touch" so that it "feels" the slightest touch on the wheel. I'm not talking about the buttons, but the wheel itself that we must hold (rather than wiggle in some other cars)... many times I have 2 fingers from one hand lightly touching or even lightly pinching it, and still it alerts me to touch/hold it, which is annoying. Thanks for your reviews!
I love mine. One thing my Mazda cx-5 had that I miss though is the sound and visual in the HUD for blind spot monitoring. How can we convince Lexus to add that?
Thanks for the update! How tall are you? Trying to reference for myself when you did the backseat segment. Most people complain that it’s small and tight. Do you think it’s comfortable for 2 average sized adults back there?
Great review, I am an owner of an NX, I regret very much not gettng the electronic rear view morror. Otherwise I agree with most of your praising comments.
Great review! I agree with all 0f your statements as a new owner of a NX350 AWD. One thing I noticed was that the passenger sideview mirror has no auto dimming which i find odd. Wondering if you noticed the same thing on your car or if mine is malfunctioning. Thanks!
@@YBrianL thanks for confirming. I also have a 2013 Audi and both side views are auto dimming. Not sure why Lexus didn't include it on both sides for the 2024 NXs. It is helpful for night time highway driving 😐
well michellin x-ice are super quite tires, that is an add on top off getting rid off run flats.. would definitely recommend to sell run flats and buy all season michellin cross climate 2 for this vehicle they are perfect fit super quite and with those tires you don't need winter tires at all so drive cross climate 2 all year long save money and get rid off run flats
Good review, I am not a fan of the Runflat tires either. In the US they do not include a jack or a lugnut wrench. If you have an issue, they can only drive 50 miles flat. I do not think I will go back to runflat tires once these wear out. The gas engine has plenty of power, but it lacks a refined sound, it sounds a bit utilitarian when it is running. The Carplay connection problems seem to be with the car itself, I had an iPhone 12 and replaced it with an iPhone 15 and both had the same issue of randomly not connecting on Carplay. You could always manually connect the phone via bluetooth and media, but it would fail on Carplay. This has gotten better since the last iPhone IOS upgrade, but still happens occasionally. Not sure if you have Bluejean transfer happening on your leather seats but I can tell it is happening. You are getting slightly better fuel mileage than I am.
@@firstbikeisascout9103 negative. That is the reason for the run flats. They will drive with a flat for 50 miles. You are you on when you put regular tires on like the host and others here have done.
Thanks for the tips on the tire the road noise was bothering me, but it’ll be painful to buy new tires and ditch the old ones unless the dealer trades them in which would be a dream for me, but I doubt it will happen
How is your suspension? My 2022 350h can easily bottom out and make a thunk going over speed bumps . I have to pretty much slow to a crawl to not make this thunk
it has caught me off guard a few times but I've since adjusted and gotten used to it. It's a bit strange and not ideal but definitely wouldn't go as far as say I need to slow to a crawl though.
Brian are you familiar with the 12 volt battery controversy/issues some have had? I guess mostly the plug in, and for those who drive short distances. Have you had any battery issues?
Haven’t had 12V issues, but I always keep the car in Ready (ev mode) if I’m idling instead of the accessories mode. That way it uses the traction battery instead of the 12v
Thanks for the review. Recently got the car, did you do any paint protection for Ontario? And my car came with the Lexus buttons always on, on the left side. So no need to click back to apps and Lexus. That should roll out to all vehicles soon I think
great review. As a nx 350h owner, with executive package, I totally agree with almost all you said. The Mark Levinson system is mediocre in the back seat but fantastic in the front. The reason is there is no woofers in the back, the sound frequency jumps from highs and mids to ultra lows of the subwoofer, that's why the back seat sound experience is not that great.
My 2024 NX350h is a fine car. I do not care for the following: run flat tires, (I will change them to regular tires in time) initially I had occasional connectivity problems with my Android phone but it seems like the system has resolved the problem, I find the night illumination lights to weak even as the high setting, the drive assist gets confused on the freeway with a sharp S curve. It wants to slow down and then is drifts to the other lane (can be dangerous if you are not paying attention and do not take control) the Lexus map is boring, they should use Garman maps like I have on my 2021 Honda CR-V touring model as an example. It shows the next cross street coming and even the altitude. Having said this, I love my car and it is the best car I have ever owned. Funny, we take the Lexus on short trip over the Honda CR-V as the mileage is better by over 10 mpg.
I can’t wait to get rid of the freaking run flats s well. I noticed the difference when Lexus loaned me an RX while they tinted my windows darker. The rx was a smooth operator because of the normal tyres. I will take my chances on regular tyres.
Thanks Brian for the excellent and informative video. I am sold on the NX350h premium, but am finding it difficult to find any vehicles in my area. The hybrids are in high demand in my area (Ann Arbor, MI.), and most dealers have very little stock on hand. Have been told it would be minimum 6 to 8 weeks (maybe) on a new order. And finding a CPO 22-24 is difficult. Dealers around here are demanding MSRP pricings also;. do you find this to be the case where you are at? Thanks... CR
6 to 8 weeks sounds about right. I was quoted anywhere from 6 months to a year last Feb. Ended up getting it in 3 months in May. Inventory will keep improving I hope.
The door handle is absolutely an issue. My drivers side door handle was frozen for over a week this winter and I had to reach through the passenger side to open the door.
It should be also mechanic way to open the door (with clutch sound). Have you tried it or you just always use electromagnetic way? @YBrainL are you aware of the mechanical way to open the door?
Can you turn the cross-traffic alert off permanently? In other words, you don't have to turn it off every time you turn the engine on? Another complaint I'm hearing is that the motor makes a loud high-pitched sound when accelerating on the highway?
yes you can turn it off permanently. In general the engine really only gets stressed during high acceleration whether on steep incline, highway merges, etc. It can get loud yes but I dont think its particularly high pitched in any annoying sense.
I have a tag and steering wheel club but deep down I know these are not super effective unfortunately. I always park in my garage when I can but other than that I’m kinda just relying on insurance…
@@YBrianL thx Brian. Any reason you didn’t install the IGLA? I was worried about Lexus warranty being affected but my dealer has assured me there is no issue and they will have it installed before I pick up the vehicle.
no particular reason, wasn't sure if it was really necessary since I don't park on the driveway. How much extra was it for hardware and install for you?
What a great review!! Thank you for sharing! I keep going back and forth between the NX or an ES sedan. Quick question. Did you finance your NX? If so, did you use Lexus financial or did you use your own lending institution?
paid for it outright. I'm somewhat interested in the ES, I bet it is on its own level in terms of smoothness and quietness, but the no folding seat was a deal breaker for me
how is your infotainment screen holding up? I wiped mine a few times to get the finger prints off and it's completely scratched now. I'm not sure how you are suppose to clean it without scratching it. I am also surprised that the automatic braking and censor beeping only actually works on the back and front of the car. I have already ran into a guy in my blind spot by changing lanes and not seeing him, none of the safety features kicked in.
Mine seems fine I give it a quick wipe with a damp microfiber cloth every few weeks or so. I have also been told to never use any sort of glass/window cleaner on these touchscreens. BSM sensitivity/warning timing can be adjusted in the infotainment that might help as well.
@YBrianL that's good. Mine is pretty scratched. I talked to the dealership and they said you should use compressed air to blow away the dust particles before wiping with a micro fiber cloth and glass cleaner. If you don't blow away the dust particles wiping them will cause them to scratch it.
@@Luke_DBe sure the factory screen protector has been removed. It took me a couple weeks to realize it was on. But majority of the time consumers overlook this. It's really a perfect fit and hard to notice but easy to scratch.
You spend more time talking about the door handle in cold weather than the creaking noise in rear. My mazda has a creak in my back and it drives me nuts. That creak will only get worse my guess
Thanks for the reply. I looked at the Lexus website and found out that they recommend 91 octane for 2024 NX 350, NX 350h, NX 450h+; with 87 octane how does it ride?
Premium is required for 350 (turbo). For the 350h and 450h+ they're "recommended but not required". I'm losing a (completely unnoticeable) bit of efficiency and power with regular gas but no where near enough to justify premium.
It’s interesting to hear your perspective and further update in this video. After 2 years of waiting, my partner finally picked up his last month. We’re in Australia, but the spec he ordered is moreorless identical to yours (except dark grey / palomino). Fuel economy after 1,800kms is 6L/100kms. As a car enthusiast myself, it doesnt really suit my driving style… you have to drive it as a total cruiser - and that brief I feel it does well. I would say the ML stereo is solid, but not amazing. Maybe a 7.5-8 out of 10. I’m still trying to work out whether keeping the phone connected via the cord increases the audio quality. It certainly reduces the lag when changing tracks. It’s clear that tech has been the focus with this new generation. That screen is very good, the colour headup display is very good. The touch capacitive buttons are… not that great. I’m a ‘track hopper’ and it’s annoying constantly having to roll my finger around the button to activate it and then push it - as the activation obviously times out after a few seconds. Yet i need those seconds to know if i want that track or not. One interesting thing regarding the ‘lack of home screen’ you mention is an update that ive seen on some U.S. Lexus NX reviews / models recently. The screen now has the option to reduce and expand it when in Carplay or Android Auto to show the 5-6 menu options that are normally in the Lexus native interface. Look at the NX350h review done by Redline Reviews in the last 48hrs and scroll to the 12min mark. You’ll see what I’m referring to
I tried Bluetooth vs cable for audio and honestly couldn’t tell the difference. Definitely looking forward to that new update! I think Canadian update roll out lags behind US quite a bit which is annoying
Hi Brian, which model trim and options did you get? Impressed with your final invoice total of under $68K taxes in. Can you mention the dealership you bought and service at?
I would like to know how visible the infotainment display is when it's sunny out and the roof might be open. Is there much glare reflecting from the display making it hard to read? No one seems to mention this.
the center infotainment screen is optically bonded so no glare whatsoever. The digital rear view camera however is not, and on a sunndy day with the pano roof open at the right angle there can be quite a bit of glare unfortunately
@@YBrianL Thank you for the reply. I did have a chance to drive my friend's new NX450h. I did find that the glare on the rear view mirror to be annoying. I was using the camera view and that was new to me. It would take some getting used to, but I would probably like it. Very good video, by the way.
Bought a used 2022 NX250. I was not a fan of the hybrid and so much more expensive. Currently averaging 9.2L city in the summer. The wiper thing bothers me and a little worried about the door buttons.
It came with winter tires (without rims). After researching aftermarket rims, they sure make it difficult with hub bolts and TPMS. 250 here has normal tires with a spare tire.
After I drove ES 300H and switch back to my NX 350H, I was wondering what's wrong with my car. Why is my car so lound !! The most of noises is coming from the tires (RFT makes more noise than the regular tires)
@@MinYawnMin Yeah NX is nice but It is a $17K difference to go up to a base NX350h from a RAV4 Limited where I live and I couldn't justify the price difference.
@@Xale-yt if you can get MSRP or below on RAV4, I’d say it’s a good choice no matter what. Here in Bay Area, most Toyota dealer ships have mark up.. greedy bastards. I ended up with a 24 450+ lease with $7500 incentive and dealer dropped 4k bringing it down to high 52k before taxes and fees.
Idk if you've experienced this, but if you make sudden turns, it loses connectivity to the phone....Ive had multiple instances in my previous rx350h, at high speeds you want to switch lanes and if it's too jerky of a lane switch, Android Auto disconnects, not sure if I'm able to explain it correctly but yea
I traded my RX350 for a RAV 4 limited hybrid. I wanted the NX 350 hybrid but hated the frustrating infotainment system. The 2024 limited hybrid still has lots of key buttons with all the interior luxury. In a few years I may revisit the NX and see if they change back anything
When I turn on my car it doesn’t make the Lexus entry sound anymore, do you know what this could be? It’s not a big deal, I’m just curious to know if I did something to stop the entry sound haha
That’s interesting lol I’m not sure. Off top of my head there’s some settings regarding entry/exit but I think that’s just seat/lighting. May be worthwhile to ask dealer on the next visit
This car have its flaws, it does annoys me with the issue that retracts the luxury feel from a Lexus; especially with the A- pillar wiper issue, door freezing issue, app responsiveness, and other issue. Somehow though, I want to take this vehicle on the road more than my Model Y.
You can ask the dealer to adjust the wiper more to the left! I did for my 2023NX350. Took a couple minutes! I found the wiper deicer didn’t work that great…sort of🤷♂️. I hate that the radar sensor freezes up and then the safety system doesn’t work. Why didn’t they make it heated?🤷♂️
@@TechJunky777I have the same dilemma. I’ve pointed out to dealer and they refuse to make adjustment because it’s normal when they “ duplicated” with other NXs

I wish Lexus would consider climates like yours and ours in Asian countries where we have extreme hot weather and strong sunshine.
Im in Phoenix, super sunny most of the year. Hope I don’t regret getting my NX that has been ordered.
@@dollyandlouismartinez6450 I hope you didn't get the black seats!
Thanks for this nice review. Now I'm thinking of cancelling my reservation for the 2025 model, and just get a CPO 2024 NX350h Premium to save at least 10k.🙃😊
why?
You did so well, amazing review. I have been a fan of this car for a while, still not within my budget but it seems to be a lovely car.
Good review, your a natural keep reviewing
Frozen door handles is a common issue - dealership should be able to replace your door handle, but I haven't found a technical service bulletin with an actual fix for good.
Good update video!
Thanks for your review !
Thank you for posting this helpful video
on the long highway drives i always use the LTA and RCC, the only gripe I have is that in doesn't find the apex of turns (while staying in the lane, this would probably require an Ai engine), it just traces the lane which if you are trying to hyper mile this can eat away at your MPG
Not sure what I'll do maybe depends on which tires wear out first
Good job! Well done video, saludos desde México!
Yea it's a fair criticism and like I said I'm really shocked because I'm pretty sure it snows in Japan lol so how did they miss this is beyond me
@@YBrianL I'm fairly sure the wiper outside range (left edge) can be extended.
Do you know you can make ajustment to resolve this issue. I ask to my dealership and the make adjustment and now the wiper very good covert.
Thank you!
Hey Brian, you make the best reviews of the NX I’ve seen yet. Very detailed and on the owner’s perspective which is way different than salesperson.
Just a question, what are the exact spec of those Braelin wheels ? I am thinking getting those in black for myself in 18” as well.
should be BR10-1880-65ZD+45C601
i got it from here:
www.canadawheels.ca/braelin-wheels/br10-bronzed-carbon-w1270593.html
Brian, what winter rims are you using and where did you purchase?
Braelin BR10 in bronze color, got them from CanadaWheels
Brian, have you heard of any way (by us or dealer) to adjust the capacitive sensitivity of the NX350H steering wheel "touch" so that it "feels" the slightest touch on the wheel. I'm not talking about the buttons, but the wheel itself that we must hold (rather than wiggle in some other cars)... many times I have 2 fingers from one hand lightly touching or even lightly pinching it, and still it alerts me to touch/hold it, which is annoying. Thanks for your reviews!
that'd be kinda sweet but I have not heard of that customizability unfortunately
Do you fuel with regular or premium gas?
Regular
I love mine. One thing my Mazda cx-5 had that I miss though is the sound and visual in the HUD for blind spot monitoring. How can we convince Lexus to add that?
That is a very good review. I will buy one. 😃
Outstanding video, thank you for the feedback.
Looks like the rear pillars are big impairing visibility
Thanks for the update! How tall are you? Trying to reference for myself when you did the backseat segment. Most people complain that it’s small and tight. Do you think it’s comfortable for 2 average sized adults back there?
I’m 5 foot 8 and it’s decent for me back there so 2 average sized adults should be fine
@@YBrianL Do note that most people have no clue how tall that is, since most people don't measure height with their feet.
Some reviewers say the RX is quieter and rides better. Any insight on this? Appreciate any guidance!
I haven’t been in the newer RX but yea even the older ones are pretty damn serene. The NX definitely feels a lot more agile and engaging though.
Great review, I am an owner of an NX, I regret very much not gettng the electronic rear view morror. Otherwise I agree with most of your praising comments.
the electronic review mirror makes me dizzy. It is a no go for me!
Great review! I agree with all 0f your statements as a new owner of a NX350 AWD. One thing I noticed was that the passenger sideview mirror has no auto dimming which i find odd. Wondering if you noticed the same thing on your car or if mine is malfunctioning. Thanks!
Passenger side mirror does not have auto dimming
@@YBrianL thanks for confirming. I also have a 2013 Audi and both side views are auto dimming. Not sure why Lexus didn't include it on both sides for the 2024 NXs. It is helpful for night time highway driving 😐
well michellin x-ice are super quite tires, that is an add on top off getting rid off run flats.. would definitely recommend to sell run flats and buy all season michellin cross climate 2 for this vehicle they are perfect fit super quite and with those tires you don't need winter tires at all so drive cross climate 2 all year long save money and get rid off run flats
and when you get a flat, you have to be towed! haha not for me
Paint and wheel combo is unreal. Love bronze wheels
Thought I saw another reviewer say these cars don’t come with a spare…so if you get a flat you’re basically waiting until someone comes to tow you?
@@firstbikeisascout9103 negative. That is the reason for the run flats. They will drive with a flat for 50 miles. You are you on when you put regular tires on like the host and others here have done.
Thanks for the tips on the tire the road noise was bothering me, but it’ll be painful to buy new tires and ditch the old ones unless the dealer trades them in which would be a dream for me, but I doubt it will happen
I heard a guy had the dealer change the tires to Michelins before he took delivery,,,,,they say makes huge difference
Yea I’ve heard of that but have not run into any issues with my 12v thus far
Haven’t had 12V issues, but I always keep the car in Ready (ev mode) if I’m idling instead of the accessories mode. That way it uses the traction battery instead of the 12v
Thanks for the review. Recently got the car, did you do any paint protection for Ontario? And my car came with the Lexus buttons always on, on the left side. So no need to click back to apps and Lexus. That should roll out to all vehicles soon I think
i did not get any paint protection, so far its holding up okay. Definitely looking forward to that infotainment update!
At 13:45 you say the predictive driving assist is adjustable. How do you adjust that?
in the vehicle settings under collision prevention i think
great review.
I'm hearing that the ML audio system is terrible on the NX and RX both. Not worth the money and not like they use to be!
Great review, thank you!
That’s a great real ownership review 👍
Yours made in Japan or Canada?
@@flyboy008 Canada
I can’t wait to get rid of the freaking run flats s well. I noticed the difference when Lexus loaned me an RX while they tinted my windows darker. The rx was a smooth operator because of the normal tyres. I will take my chances on regular tyres.
almost worth paying $10k more for the RX!
Inventory will keep improving I hope.
my dealer says you can not order a NH350h. They get what they can get.!

The door handle is absolutely an issue. My drivers side door handle was frozen for over a week this winter and I had to reach through the passenger side to open the door.
Wow that's far worse than mine, sorry to hear. They definitely need to work on making it more robust
It should be also mechanic way to open the door (with clutch sound). Have you tried it or you just always use electromagnetic way? @YBrainL are you aware of the mechanical way to open the door?
@@iwtu yes im aware
Can you turn the cross-traffic alert off permanently? In other words, you don't have to turn it off every time you turn the engine on? Another complaint I'm hearing is that the motor makes a loud high-pitched sound when accelerating on the highway?
yes you can turn it off permanently. In general the engine really only gets stressed during high acceleration whether on steep incline, highway merges, etc. It can get loud yes but I dont think its particularly high pitched in any annoying sense.
Great review! Any thoughts on after market security options given the increase theft here in Ontario? IGLA, TAG, etc
It’s $1000 plus taxes installed.
Any ceramic coating and/or rust proofing?
What a great review!! Thank you for sharing! I keep going back and forth between the NX or an ES sedan. Quick question. Did you finance your NX? If so, did you use Lexus financial or did you use your own lending institution?
paid for it outright. I'm somewhat interested in the ES, I bet it is on its own level in terms of smoothness and quietness, but the no folding seat was a deal breaker for me
Es is way smoother and quieter than nx ,,,due to the tires and smooth v6 ,,,at times you can’t tell if it is running 😢
how is your infotainment screen holding up?
Great job.
What kind of gas you use on your 2024 NX Hybrid? What octane do you use in Canada?
I use regular 87 octane gas
Thanks for the reply. I looked at the Lexus website and found out that they recommend 91 octane for 2024 NX 350, NX 350h, NX 450h+; with 87 octane how does it ride?
Premium is required for 350 (turbo). For the 350h and 450h+ they're "recommended but not required". I'm losing a (completely unnoticeable) bit of efficiency and power with regular gas but no where near enough to justify premium.
Thanks. With 87 octane, do you hear any engine knocking? Persistent knocking can lead to engine damage.
No engine knocking, it's designed to take regular or premium
