- Today we explore the beautiful island of Koh Samui and take a cable car to a stunning mountain lookout. We then have lunch in a restaurant overlooking the Gulf of Thailand and end the day watching a magnificent fire show and a few drinks at one of the lady bars.

Hi Justin it's well worth the drive down from Hua Hin taking a few days to do it in . It's my favourite place to be in Thailand depending on the time of the year

@@justinmcintosh6554 If you have the time Krabi is just a nice scenic two and a half hours drive south west of Donsak Pier also. A good itinerary from Hua Hin is Ban Krut two and a half hours drive. Lamae, Chumphon three hours drive. Donsak Pier (for ferry to Samui) two and a half hours drive then a couple of hours on the ferry. Good idea to take a ferry from Samui to Kho Phangan for a couple of days if you have the time also but not when there's a full moon 🌕

Hey Ged good video thanks , it looks like a restful place with some entertainment thrown in too. I can feel and sense a comfort factor here compared to other places I have seen . When you remind me at the end about the country I’m in I feel frustrated I’m not there yet . I would be interested in knowing what equipment and editing software you recommend. I was thinking of starting something in Darwin before I leave as the story behind the move is a developing into something worth recording. I have a GF in ISAN wanting me to retire and move over so I guess I must get a move on.
Hi, I am glad that you enjoyed the video and I hope that it was useful to you. Don’t get too frustrated Thailand is not going anywhere and it will still be here when you arrive.
I use Wondershare Filmore it’s a great site with many good inclusions to help you make your videos entertaining. I got it 3 years ago when I first started for about $75 for a lifetime subscription but I think that they changed that to a yearly subscription a year or so back. If it's too expensive now just do a Google search for free video editing software but they will be quite basic.

@@thailandmyland...retiringd2351 thanks Ged for the link . I know wondershare they have great hard disk recovery software too. Compared to adobe filmora looks like a better deal . My conclusion so far is a quiet low cost location is better that a tourist location overwhelmed with noisy visitors. I guess that’s why you didn’t stay in Phuket. Although Karon is great 👍. Can’t Wait to visit Hua Hin and also the quiet town next to river Kwai bridge next.
