I DO NOT OWN THE COPYRIGHT OF EITHER THE IMAGE OR SOUNDTRACK IN THIS VIDEO. Unable to find this anywhere on RUclips I decided to upload it myself. Enjoy.
I think the Pythons had a thing about cricket not being all that exciting! They did a similar sketch on their next album, featuring an intense commentary on Thomas Hardy writing his latest novel. This was them at their best; pity they went on too long as the last series was dire.
Lmao! I remember listening to this on “record” 45 years, when I was around 14 years old. Monty Python had a profound impact on my developing sense of humor. Today, Monty Python would be banned by the woke assholes.
This is the perfect counterpoint to all the pre-eclipse hype leading up to April 8, 2024.
Anyone else watching this after the eclipse?
I had to listen to this again because I keep playing the entire script through my head whenever someone mentions the eclipse of 8/21/17
How appropriate on this day..
I recorded this album in the Radio Luxembourg Studios, Hertford Street, London. I also provided a lot of the sound effects.
Cool :) Love this album... good memories of the experience?
An eclipse chaser's nightmare; clouds
This is what the entire North East experienced for the Transit of Venus 2012. Thanks!
Only thing I can think of today (August 21 2017) :-D
HILARIOUS!
Posting at 12.06pm, just in time!!!

From the Worst (crossed out in crayon)... Best of Monty Python's flying circus

Actually from Monty Python's Previous Record originally, I think.

I have previous record and I say it's smashing. ( Also it has the skit on it.)
"Lemon curry?"
You are welcome :)

Anyone know the name of the fanfare played at the beginning?
You can't get it Lenny S. It's from a music library album by 'studio B'. It was in mono and I put heavy reverb on it in stereo.
