Another top video and thanks 👍Your efforts and encouragement are first class and you seem to have a genuine desire to help guys like me new to pike fishing .
Bostin video yet again. Nice to see how ya set up well explained and be to worth a go when i eventually go pike fishing . Keep the videos coming love em
Started spinning on canal this june your videos are brilliant. I'm dead baiting tomorrow with this rig. Thank you so much for helping me learn fishing. Keep up the good work cheers.
Danny - beautiful location - as you say, sometimes we can lose ourselves in where we are which more than makes up for the fact of whether we catch or not! Love being out on my own in the country - nothing better!
Nice video. My pike seasons going reasonably well so far, not had any big girls yet but managing to find the jacks. It's my second real season so fairly happy so far, still got a lot of learning to do but things are piecing together. It was this channel and another local one that got me started pike fishing and has taught me a lot so thanks for that.
Hi Danny, After a bit of advice. I' m thinking about Dace fishing next year and have really enjoyed watching all your sessions. Are the sections you fish on the Ribble, part if the Lymm Anglers book? cheers Jason
I respect your logic to newcomers as I’m one 😂 I’ve been trying for the last 3 weekends to get my fist pike it’s tough going blanking but I’m not giving up. I understand the rigs & the thinking behind it my question is much more simple...im curious to just how long do you leave your bait in the water? I’ve been giving it about 30 minutes then maybe recasting although I’m loosing a lot of baits by the 3rd 4th cast it flys off. I’ve been using bait elastic it does the job but that’s not my point am I being impatient? Should I just be leaving it out for a longer window? If anyone reading my comment & has experience please feel free to give me some tips as I’ve no1 to ask I’ve been using these videos for reference. Thank you
RunningWithScissors wow that’s a big fish. I grew up fly fishing with my old man but this year I decided to mix it up as the season is a while away I fancy trying to get myself one of those big guys! Thanks for your advice I’ll try be more patient.
Love the channel Danny, watched most of your blogs, but bad set up on bite indication. Ditch those butt cups, swinger clip needs to be close to the spool for proper sensitivity. The bank stick thumb screw is on the left side, blocking the swinger arm from dropping properly. Rests don't need to be as high, I'd rather have a tilting angle to the bait, tip 6 inches off the water, even submerging the rod tips in choppier weather. Rubber ball rests are hard to beat. I don't mean to be nitpicking Danny.

My PB of 38lb fell to leaving a bait out 2 n half hours, let it marinade in those waters a bit longer :)

If you are fishing with 2 rods then leave one of them in until you get a run or go home. You can then evaluate which method works.

Another great vid but get that plastic off the cork!
Great vlog ruined by having to sit through 4.29min of un-skipable RUclips adverts.
