Been a good watch it’s good to see someone making pike vids who actually knows what he’s doing in pike angling , the weird thing is it’s been my best season in 30yrs pike angling and my first ever 30 goin 31.4 so I know this feeling you had , look forward to next pike campaign vids

I came across your video while looking for a Barbel video and I’m now actually hooked to your content.
I’ve watched fishing videos since I was a kid and you are absolutely up there with them legends like John Wilson, Matt Hayes, etc well for me anyway your videos are better. The music, the camera views, how you conduct yourself is absolutely brilliant.
You go through your technique’s, where you fish, your thought process, and I’m actually blown away.
You are going places and it’s honestly the best content I’ve saw in 35 years of watching shows. I truly hope your channel goes viral.

This got me emotional! Fantastic skills, work, endurance, tenacity, and ability to come back from failure, time and time again . Well done!! Some people will never understand the reasons. The goal doesn't matter, that is for you to choose, it could be money for some greedy people it could be boxing, it could be science. The point is, you did your best, improving with each failed season, and carried on until you did what others will never do! The sound in your voice appreciating that fish is what life it self is all about, that is the peak and actually living the dream. Money can never buy you that feeling. Well done!!!!!

Been following your adventures for quite some time now - you'd already had an amazing season before this behemoth arrived - no-one deserves it more than you. The hours, the sessions - you are one dedicated man and the fruits of those labours are here for us all to see.
No need to apologise on how you feel when you don't know what to say - it happens to us all when that which we catch is the fish of our dreams.
Remember catching a 2lb 2 oz Roach on the River Lea whilst fishing for Livebait - I can't tell you how much I was shaking when she went on the scales - I believe from my friend who was with me at the time stated I was just talking gibberish. These times are what we, as anglers, live for - every time the float goes under, the bite alarm goes off, the quivertip pulls round - we never know what's attached until we land them.
Well done Lee - if anyone can get a 40lber, it's you😁

i know im a bit late to this but i also noticed that the pike potentially had 2 different coloured eyes, 1 bright blue and 1 brown which is cool

Congratulations man. What a fish from the river.. My pb was caught 23 years ago, sh to was over the thirthu, so I can appreciated your excitement, and sometimes frustration. In the US, people generally don't dead stick for pike like you would a carp. Except maybe for ice fishing, moving lures for pike and musky is how we do it.

If you are looking for a 40lb Pike, we have seen fish far larger than my 30 (following Salmon lures to the bank) in the Wye on more than one occasion!

Congratulation on an amazing fish. True story, as kids we mainly fished for carp in the summer and only occasionally fished for Pike in the winter. We were fishing a small lake one day when we caught a 30lb pike. That was 40 years ago and I still remember it as if it was yesterday.

I started watching these videos last year & became obsessed with trying to catch the Water Wolf....In the last 11 months, I have caught 200 pike, but only 1 has been over 30in mind U this area is new to them so size will come in time. Thanks for giving me the itch...🎣 & awsome footage

Well done mate what a fantastic series of videos deservedly crowned with that fantastic fully deserved pike. Those of us who sit on the banks for many hours in glorious solitude know exactly how that capture felt and most of us aspire to be to feel those special moments. I have only been focussed on pike fishing for a couple of seasons and my PB is 15lbs. Armed with what I have learned from your approach I am aiming for my first 20 from October 2024 and your video make me believe with hard work it is achieveable. My preparation in selecting rivers and swims has already started !
