Pike Float Ledgering one of my favourite most verstile methods
I use this rig on rivers, lakes, boats and lochs. I’ve caught Pike over 30lbs from lakes and plenty of 25lb plus Pike from rivers on this method.

Loving your videos mate, great tips,I'm from Scotland Inverness there's a loch 20 miles from me which used to be a great loch I've had pike to 38lb from it but unfortunately it has had to much attention,you have caught some pike bye the way,eye just want to congratulations on the amount of big pike and monumental effort you must have put in mate many thanks Graeme king 👍

Hello mate. On your flouro uptrace, what breaking strain is that bud?

I go by diameter .8 to safe but I’m sure .6 will be fine. I have never heard of a bite of on thick fluoro uptraces.

They make the length of these drop indicators way too short in my opinion, I ended up making my own longer one so that the rear rod rest doesn't have to be so close to the reel.

I also don't like the fact that you need to buy the counter weights separate (if it needs them for full functionality they should come with it). And the subtle smear campaign that the maker seems to run against other arms.

what happens if the pike consumes trout and foam, surely this will kill the pike eventually.

If a Pike eats the trout I catch it, the baits tied on. If it fell of during a fight it floats a cormorant of sea gull gets it. I’m sure it would pass though ether bird no problem.

What's the difference in using a ledger float to using just lead and no float ? What's the difference in presentation?
