- We had plans to make this into a cheap Hot Rod and got sucked into a challenge with Sorta Stock Mopars along the way. Was it worth it? Or was this a big mistake? You tell me.

Thanks for sharing Johnny Mopar. I appreciate you giving us a tour of the Cornet you have and turning my buddy on to Mopars....
You bet Jason. I hope Scott gets that 68 Coronet he’s been dreaming of. He’s sent me over some cool tracks I want to put into a video some day hopefully soon.
Great story Jonny.
Thanks Jaybo.
Great video, Johnny, that was a beautiful drag race. Love the info on four doors versus two doors. All the guys out there trying to get into this, it’s a great place to start with a four-door. Keep up the great content.
Thanks Maximus. I agree, they’re not the most popular but lots of bang for buck and like you said a great entry level car.
Nice to have your full back story with Doorthy. Great video...
Thanks Derek.
Such a cool old cruiser!
Thanks Randy, I agree.
Infamous? I like that. LOL! Great video Jonny!
Infamous! Lol.
The 3k Drag challenge was really stressful but, extremely fun at the same time. I think I’d be down for another one lol. I’d be more picky on my starting point tho!
Lol. I’m over the build off part. But hanging out at the track and racing I’m totally down for. The day at Barona and Duct Tape were awesome days.
Nice car.
Thanks Erik
The 727 is correct for the 66 don't see 904 too often until early to mid 70,s.
Oh really? I didn’t know that. Most of the Mopars I’ve owned have been 68 or newer. This Belvedere and a 66 Charger are the only 2 I owned that we’re older and the Charger didn’t have a drive train when I got it.
Proof positive that you don't need lots of money to have a good time
Absolutely.
I have more fun in my slant six 4 door Belvedere, than I do in my Satellite.
Lol. There’s a lot of freedom and no stress driving a 4 door.
