- Ricky from Jeray Racing @jerayracing and Blake drom Bad Tree Productions @BadTreeProductions stopped by when they were participating in Sick Summer @sickthemagazine as I was removing a stubborn torsion bar in my 1967 Dodge Dart while doing a front disc brake swap and converting the 4" bolt pattern to the more common 4-1/2" bolt pattern to get ready for #nonamenationals. Jason from @IndirectConnection1 was also there to lend a helping hand.

🤣🤣
What a Funking struggle. 🍻
Sure was!
Kame apart jacks be damned Blake gonna earn his keep. Or at least try.
Learn anything Ricky?
A lot less swearing than I imagined there would be😂
Great vid 👍 Happy 4th🇺🇸
There is a special tool for removing and installing torsion bars, it hasnt failed me yet
We used it, unfortunately it didn't work this time.
Man that was such a fun time lol definitely need to get together again soon! Is anything for sale in that garage? 😂
Sure was! Have to set something up on the near future, and no, it's not for sale 🤣🤣
Man it felt like a mini nnn reunion. Glad y’all got it whooped!
Yeah, It was a great time!
Weirdly, my '76 Valiant had the HD cooling, "340" suspension, the firm steering box and other odd things. It's a 318, 'Custom' trim car that the original owner gave me. She bought it around Christmas/New Years 1976, never left Washington State until I took it when I moved across the country. Not ordered, it was on the lot at Town & Country Chrysler-Plymouth and was one of the last ones left
There were some crazy options that came out of Detroit back in the day..
Next time you see a BMX bike dumped on the side of the road/curbside pickup , grab it and take it home...take the goose neck out of it ( part that holds the handlebars)...when you want a torsion bar out, you bolt the gooseneck onto it and wail on it with a hammer....works everytime!!
I have a couple, but Jason had the tool he bought for it. After I cut it, it was actually cocked in the socket.
@@RabidTransitGarage it’s never a fun job mate ..and sometimes they are super hard to get apart !!!
Was this when they were in town racing at Union Grove?
Yip
This was so sad to watch... Like a monkey screwing a football and the Man the football winning lol😂... But kinda entertaining like a horrible car accident!
Luckily, that was the idea..lol
As the Good Dart Punk book 📚 saith 🎵We've come too far
