I will be 52 this year by God's grace, I am trying to lose wait and control my cholesterol, I am allergic to seafood, fruits and some of the nuts, I love my vegetables,I also cook wheat brown rice,my problem is to be consistent which is my biggest problem, I don't have dairy products, I am literally struggling especially having severe back pain osteoarthritis and 5 bulging disc in my back as well, I am trying to stay focused on my goal, this menopause is no joke as well. I will never give up on this weight loss journey. I am loving these ideas of your meals each day.

You have inspired me. I too will be 55 in April. Menopause has done a whammy on my body, so many changes. I walk over 20,000. steps per day. I started jogging but I just learned from another one of your videos that walking up a hill is better for me. I have started eating breakfast too and making healthier choices for meals. Learning a lot from you thank you!
I'm 63 and vegan for 8 years. To lose weight, I have restricted starches as much as possible and increased fruits (fresh, dried, canned). I try to have a big breakfast of fruit, banana milk (soy), English muffin, hash brown, and Just Egg vegan egg substitute, and soy yogurt. Sometimes oatmeal instead of the English muffin and hash brown. Tea or chicory (coffee substitute) in the evenings. Sometimes homemade veggie/bean soups on the weekends. When I get a salt craving, I eat a tomato or cucumber with some salt. I tried to get away from salads, which I love, because of dressings with oil and the use of a lot of salt to enhance flavor. I don't want so much oil and salt in my diet. Congrats on your weight loss. You look fantastic. 🧡🧡

Thanx for the encouragement Fumi! I started my healthy eating in the new year. I am still struggling to adjust but I`m pushing. I also found out that alot of african food is also healthy. I fell off the wagon for three and a half years due to personal issues and I either didn`t eat much at all or I ate whatever I could find. I`m better now and I am kicking ass. It’s amazing that you did that in less than two months. So I’m 52 with a nine-year-old. I have to get it together or I might even lose my vision. It’s so very hard I work from home like you I homeschool my son, I need to figure out how to get it together. A lot of times I don’t eat it all but I’ll drink juice, and if I make a mistake to actually buy soda, I will drink them up like crazy. I crave it and the more I do it the more I crave it. I have always been a "gym rat", but due to the surgery, followed by a car accident then covid, I got out of my routine and have gained 30 pounds... you really are a joy to watch and an inspiration! Fums, I am loving these videos. White potato though, is a good carb as it is all natural, whole and unprocessed. Everything should be consumed in the correct proportions; especially good carbs as they provide the energy your body requires for exercising. ♥.
Hello; 2 things to share with you. (1) Sugar; brown sugar is best to take if you must, brown sugar is rich in Vit. B. Of course, it should be taken in moderation - just like dark chocolate is good for the body, so is brown sugar. (2) Correction: the word you wish to use is "LOSE" as in to extract. "Loose" means to let go. Good luck on your healthy journey, but consume lots of fruits.

Hey there! I am sorry but I disagree with eating healthy foods is expensive. Just today I went to Aldi and shopped for the weekend at Aldi spending under $20. Actually healthy food is less expensive for me. I don’t purchase meat 🍖 instead Tofu, Mushrooms, and Chickpeas. Shop at the farmers market and the Asian grocery store. Oh, let’s not forget Sprouts.

Hello my Sistah Fumi. I juice my sweet potatoes with apples in my cold press juicer. OMG, it's really good. It's like a sweet potato smoothie and it balances hormones. Love you girl. I am 67 years old and looking all of 40 everyday. No one believes it. Girl menopause was a breeze! No night sweats and flashes at all. God is good!

Unrelated: one thing to note is that muscle and fat weigh the same. Muscle isn’t heavier than fat, it’s just denser. One pound of fat = one pound of muscle.

I’ll be going on 1 yr no alcohol, I don’t eat anything that is white, I workout 4-5 days a week. Also walk 4000-6000 steps a day. My body won’t budge !!! 😭
