I just had a fitting from Titlelist and I had hoped to purchase the T300. However the fitter gave me the T200 irons and the numbers worked very nicely for me. I ended up with the Recoil graphite shaft W thru 5 and then the U510 3 iron with the Hazardous 6,0 shaft. The fitting experience was eye opening Mark. Best thing I’ve ever done golfwise. There very professional and care. Thanks for your videos for giving me the correct information to prepare for the process. Cheers!
I think Ben Hogan Golf had the right idea a couple of years ago - let's get rid of the "7-iron" numbering on irons and just have them stamp the loft on the club. Otherwise you won't be able to blend the T200/T300 with the T100.
Sven Hallauer I just purchased a set of single length clubs. The top model uses loft angle instead of the numbering system. I would have gone with that set but they were 2° weaker than the set I purchased. I have also noticed the loft stamped on some of the smaller manufacturers of very high end clubs.
the typical consumer who gets seduced by "distance" is typically way to clueless to understand lofts instead of "7 iron", and u could also play two clubs with almost identical loft but that gaps differently, due to shaft length, cg, etc
I am really looking forward to hitting these after watching your review. I am still playing the 712 AP2 irons only because I have not liked any of the other AP2 irons released since. At this point, I think these may be what I have been waiting for. Enjoy all your videos. The fun you guys have sets you apart from all others.
Ok so I was happy to see this video come up because I was just fitted for the T200. I was impressed with the feel and quality of the club , some people are knocking the looks but I like them. I think the main thing with anything guys and girls is goooo gettttt fittedddddd! I am a Titleist player for life ! I found the customer service and overall experience with Titleist exceptional. Yes they are expensive put you have to pay to play ! Ontario Canada .
When Mark fitted his daughter into Titleist’s better players iron in the AP series (AP2?), I’ve wondered if we get carried away with all these choices. She seemed to say, great, new clubs let’s play golf. Don’t get me wrong, it’s never been a better time to be a golfer, there are infinite choices.. If I have a club with a shaft that isn’t too heavy for my physical limitations I’m good to go. Blade or CB. Another OCD’ish review that we golfers love! Thanks guys.
Great review - this club is Titleist's answer to Mizuno's Hot Metal Pros - a fantastic set of irons that I bought this year (I weakend all the shorter irons by 2 degrees (7 iron now at 32 degrees) to get the distances I wanted). To answer the question of how they are doing it - it's the thin face. They have turned irons into mini illegal drivers and now properly dampened them to sound decent and they have engineered the crap out of the club to re-raise the spin out of the drop the spin game they played for the last 5 years. My guess is we have finally reached the point where anyone anywhere playing golf that doesn't carry their driver 300 yards will now be using this new type of 'player iron' as giving up the distance is no longer doable. This will be the tennis equivalent of moving away from wood rackets. Would love to see a head to head against Mizuno's Hot Metal Pros - I absolutely love mine and recommend them to everyone because I get 7 iron spin numbers in the 6000rpm range which I love for repeatability of distance control.
Never had a set of irons from Titleist but from the reviews of the new models I’m booking a test. From previous visit to Test the Ts driver I have to say they did a great job. Love the club but then I could or should have been told about the other 2 that were I. The pipe line.
I just went for an iron fitting a week ago with the intention of getting a set of Mizuno Hot Metal Pro's. Hit them really well and just asked about the T200's. So he put a 7 iron together for me. I'm anxiously waiting for my new set of T200's to arrive. The forged face just gives them such a lovely soft feel, and forgiveness was so much better. Not knocking Mizuno at all. They make incredible, beautiful irons. I actually fought my decision because I love the looks of the Mizunos so much better. But for me it was clearly Titleist.
It’s funny looking backwards at these thoughts & comparing them to what’s in your bag today Mark. I see the future! You’ll love proper chunky strong lofts soon!
Late to the party but my T200s are arriving next week. Tested them and got great numbers, spin was up around 6000 with a 7 iron and they were carrying 170.
Kind of nice to see the progression on the set... I definitely love the honesty regarding tech. Loft is still King...and Mark is still expressing "his" opinion regardless of sponsorship. Way to do it Mark!!!
Good review again boys and some impressive numbers - was thinking of T100s now thinking T200s - I'm going for a fitting session to try them all and will trust the fitter to help me make the right choice for my swing and game - T200s looking favourite now though!
Just a thought ... forget about the number printed on the bottom of the club , forget about the loft ... hit the club ..how far does it go .. does it stop on the green .. yes.. repeat with next club until happy with gaps.. buy clubs ... go to the course .. enjoy 😉
just bought these irons myself today, haven't gotten to hit them outside of the testing/fitting but they were giving me some impressive numbers so I had to make the purchase
Always loves these vlogs and the discussions you have with Dan regarding clubs and no bull which is brilliant, also not forgetting Lockey don't want to get into trouble 😉
Totally agree with what you were saying about game improvement clubs thinking they have to have more “tech”. The consumer thinks they aren’t good enough so they need more help. Great review as always!
Fitted for these yesterday with KBS stiff shaft. Carrying it 15 yards further than my AP1s and no word of a lie, in to a strong breeze 25 yards further! Also 10mph faster ball speed 👌
I’m going to give these a try at the end of the month and I’m very excited about trying them and after your review I’m even more excited about trying them
Nice video Mark and Dan. Quite informative and helpful. Playing AP2 ( last years 718model) also blended 818 Hybrid H-1 Model. The tungsten usage really assists and it is an attractive club head. After watching your reviews and listening to your comments. I’ll stick with my current set and just play more often, hoping to really learn the pros and cons of the clubs. Find / discover a few favorite irons that hit memorable shots. Keep up the great work 👍🏼
Max impact make me think of Homer Simpson changing his name to Max Power. I will chuckle to myself every time I game these irons. I hit these on the 29th July, been waiting for your review ever since. Getting fitted with these and a D2 hybrid on the 30th. I've have a break from golf for ten years and am getting back into playing a couple times a week and in the process of updating my bag. I have been a high single figure player whose swing was sound enough to hit driver from the deck back in the day, but never was a long hitter. These irons have been released at the perfect time for me, can wait to game them. I do think Titleiest are onto a winner with this new series.
Definitely going to try them, I decided against swapping my 716's for 718's, because I didn't see or feel any difference in performance. It will be interesting to see if I feel any different about the T range. I actually told the fitter, when being fitted for 718's, that I had a feeling that it would be better to wait for the next change, I hope I'm right 🤔
I got T100’s a degree weak and four iron is a T200 two degrees weak, and use it to really boost the ball downfield especially on the wind. Love my set won’t change it for a few years. T100’s stop on a dime which is ideal. Distance is fun but I hate balls rolling off greens a lot more than I like seeing my 7 go 180.
Interesting spin and launch number for those strong lofts. I wonder what 2 degrees of loft would do to the bounce and numbers. Almost don’t want to mess with the lofts at all if you’re going to get that sort of combination of performance. It’s cool to see you as surprised as we are.
Hi Mark these remind me of my old John Letters Tx irons which were a progressive offset set irons especially the 3,4,5 irons getting less offset as you went to 6 to 7 and then almost no offset from 8 through to S/wedge from the early 1990s a really lovely set which still sit in my garage. These do look great...
my t200s coming Friday. Tried everything to get into the 100s but the flight of these v the 100 couldn't compare. not only were best shots better with the 200s but obviously were more consistent given the extra forgiveness. only fault was a little less sexy at address.
It's a beast...got fitted for it with the AMT Red...went from JPX line 7 iron went from 155 to 180, with a better descent angle and more spin...must be from Olivander's wand store
can I ask why you want you 7i to go that far? What yardage boxes are you playing? I play 919 tours and had the loft weakened so my 7i goes 165. I have 115-140 a LOT on the courses I play. No judgement, just curious
So the question I have is, when you say "custom fit", do i pick a club I like and fit for them or just get fit and whatever club they put me in is what I should play?
I am in the market for new irons and have been looking at these and the calloway apex forged irons. Taylormade p790s are a close 3rd though. I feel I am more consistent with these irons however.
I'm in the market for new irons and as a 16 handicap who's good swing is great and bad swing is terrible ( I relate to Ray very much lol) a Teitlist combo set is definitely an option for me. Look forward to testing and fitting soon, not looking forward to parting with the cash lol.
Only a golf nerd would say that a club is sexy! Great look at this range from Titleist. Using AP1’s at the moment but very tempting to go and hit these and see if they “fit” my game.
My answer to all your questions at the end there Mark is Yes. I am going to make a prediction. In 2 years time your bag will consist of a TS3 Mark 2, a Rinky, 5 7 irons (MB, CB, T120, T220, T320) covering distances from 130 to 200 yards, a Bear With and a Custom Shop.
I miss the outdoor reviews with clubs like this. Love a little Dan vs Mark on the course along with trying different shots with them. Epically chipping or pitching with the "game improvement option" #getoutdoorswiththem
“Only thing I don’t like is I don’t know how their doing it “ 🤣great stuff brah! I’m a high spin player who’s biggest struggle is keeping my ball flight down in windy conditions. Very excited to go to see a fitter and play with these irons 👍🏻
So glad to see a game inprovement iron with great ball spin numbers !! Hate thos god awful knuckel balls that go miles high and hit green an roll off the back or sides !!! This set I will have to look into !!!
I think titleist should put it out there more that they can change the lofts up and down and match the gaps for a combo set. Not seen anything from about it. Callaway were pretty up front on the apex combo set. These look great but keeping my powder dry til I see what the new mizuno mp20 can do.
*** One to be aware of - I had a fitting in September last year, not brand specific, selected the best in terms of dispersion and distance combo and the T200 come out on top - roll on two months and the rear of my 7 iron started to work its way lose. Had it replaced without issue from Titleist however the 6 and 5 started to go the same way after a few months. I lost faith and was given my money back. Im now running a set of Mizuno MP-20 MMC and HMB combo set. So - BE AWARE- build quality not what you would expect from Titleist
I would definitely like to try these. 30 degree 7i is the same as my M1s (I have changed recently to i210s which I am really enjoying) and that was definitely not a high spinning club, at least not in my hands, yet even I had little difficulty in getting the ball to stop on the green. The T200s look to have better spin but the same high launch, difficult not to be impressed. Only downside for me would be the PW loft of 43 degrees as that would make gapping to my specialists wedges (50, 54, 58 degree) not ideal - I suppose I could fit a 47 degree in the middle
Did you ever figure out how they’re keeping the spin on these? I tested them the other day, and was super impressed. Very much thinking about getting fit for a set. Like you always say, ask how they are doing what they’re doing. So, how are they doing it?
A very interesting review with great discussion, and looking very well Mark. A question though. Whilst I understand the positive about the backspin numbers for these, is D plane and therefore accuracy not solely down to loft? Therefore, irrespective of backspin numbers, a full set of T200 compared to T100, for example 4-9 iron in both, would surely have worse L/R dispersion, whilst also being harder to gap with wedges. Therefore, T200 only really seem a viable option to combine with others sets, where people start to see a drop off in launch, i.e. adding a 6 iron T200 in place of if T100 5 iron.
I like these but don’t want a 43 degree PW. I have nearly new glide wedges starting at 50 that I’m not swapping to start at 48. Can the 8, 9 & pw be weakened in loft so pw is 45 ?
I think more consistent ball speed is a good thing for lower speed players and the added launch helps. If you just have to much speed then hitting these will have bad results but that's the minority.
As much as many people passively trash gi irons. I'd really like to see Mark game some for say 3 full rounds and follow up on the same coarse with the bladiest of blades and compare scores.
Interested in blending with T100, but then I saw the specs. How can you blend these??. Once you bend an irons you are affecting the bounce of the iron. Any suggestions?
I'm confused at your surprise in the numbers... Those are virtually the exact same numbers you were getting with the AP1 (sorry) 6 Iron and still really close to numbers you were getting with the T100 6 Iron. The boys down at Titleist know how to make good performing clubs in many different shapes, but I think club technology has performance metrics maxed out in almost all models. BTW, love the content, keep it coming you Muppets!
To me, what Titleist is doing is actually, and as you say yourselves, the same thing the other manufacturors BUT, they are going that bit more of the extra mile, trying to make it look as "the player"-irons like they've been known for in some years now. And they are succeeding IMO, there is no other brand, in my eyes, doing this with as much success, amd still keeping the "bells and whistles" in some kind of check. No need to say im a Titleist fan, and because of this very reason... Ive tried other brands, but... Titliest just allways looks class
They say they do it because the GI irons are supposed to launch higher and the tech is supposed to make it easier to hit straighter with those lower lofts while also providing more distance. Whether that is actually true is debatable.
Please explain the compare-my-old-models embargo put in place. I'll figure it out eventually but I'd guess that the AP1s and 2s were a large percentage of Titleist's customer base- maybe even those monstrous AP3s. It would be helpful to mention the old models, I'm sure Titleist can weather the muppet-storm.
Interesting. Beaten how exactly? I'm in the market for these irons and was seriously considering G410 until I saw these. Please help a guy out. Thanks!
I have a set of these clubs and love them but the weight in the back of my 4 iron seems to be a little lose. Does anyone know what I can use to tighten it?
This club is designed for guys like me the 10 handicap who needs help because he doesn't play very often. Who absolutely hates big chunky ugly offset irons. This is why I love titleist. They help me stay consistent without feeling like I'm hitting old man clubs that are super ugly
Went for a bit of a custom fit well more of a dabble to know what to focus on, and it was between these and the mizuno mmc mp20 with a top end blend with 5-6 hmb... don’t know now what to go towards the mizuno performed slightly better well a good bit better but I have always had Titleist’s and have an emotional attachment and they also are £200 less but if I spend £200 more will it drop me more shots the stats would say so but I now want to go to either a Titleist or mizuno specialist what’s your thoughts in this mark??? Also any chance you want to donate that camo Titleist carry bag to me 😍🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼😏
Hi Mark, thus new range do look great and seem to be doing the right things. Have you ever tried orka irons (rs10s) as they claim to get (have done from vids seen) gain distance with weaker lofted (36° 7 iron) clubs. Interested to know your thoughts.. Keep up the good work..
Duncan Jones it’s distance gained vs that of a 7 iron you’re not fit for, meaning you’re probably seeing a fitting gain rather than a gain derived from club design performance
Please do another video on the filthy “D” .....(plane)... and loft and all those nasty things that nobody wants to talk about. Would love to see one of your in depth analysis of these things!
Hey Mark great job on the content you put out. Question for you - if one goes for a blend of T100 and T200 would weakening the lofts in the T200 be an option to get the right gapping ? Thoughts ?
Bought a custom fit set this year and I love them. I'm a high handicap player and I really enjoy playing with these.
How are they coming along? I’m a high handicap as well and I love the look of these
I just had a fitting from Titlelist and I had hoped to purchase the T300.
Except Ben Hogan Golf just dropped that practice. 🤦🏻♂️

Ontario Canada .
Thanks guys, this made me choose t200 for 4,5,6 and t100s for 7,8,9,P. It all blends great!
When Mark fitted his daughter into Titleist’s better players iron in the AP series (AP2?), I’ve wondered if we get carried away with all these choices. She seemed to say, great, new clubs let’s play golf.

Thanks guys.
Tested and bought them!!! I had i500s - t200 went further and spin higher, and my decent angles improved. Hence no brained for me. Thanks Mark/ Dan
Great review - this club is Titleist's answer to Mizuno's Hot Metal Pros - a fantastic set of irons that I bought this year (I weakend all the shorter irons by 2 degrees (7 iron now at 32 degrees) to get the distances I wanted).

Titleist have made a really good club , for a wide range of golfers. Great video, thanks for your efforts ( will be giving these a go ).

A comparison between these and the Mizuno JPX Forged would be interesting.

I really love the T-Series. I have 9 and 8 iron as T100, 7 iron as T100s to blend and 6 down to 4 iron as T200. Works like charm for me
Fitted for these yesterday with KBS stiff shaft. Carrying it 15 yards further than my AP1s and no word of a lie, in to a strong breeze 25 yards further! Also 10mph faster ball speed 👌
Really impressed with those numbers guys!
Was going straight into t100's
But now i will have to hit these
Just had a fitting yesterday these were far and away the best. Spin rate was most impressive.
Tried these yesterday, very impressed! Spin up over a 1000 on my Ap3s ! Sold !
Richard Knight how did the compare to AP3 pal? I’ve just ordered a set
I’m going to give these a try at the end of the month and I’m very excited about trying them and after your review I’m even more excited about trying them
New second 6 iron candidate 😎 I wonder how these compare to MP-20 HMB, pretty sure you will review them for us... Thanks Mark & Dan 👍
Nice video Mark and Dan. Quite informative and helpful. Playing AP2 ( last years 718model) also blended 818 Hybrid H-1 Model. The tungsten usage really assists and it is an attractive club head.

love the unbiased/honest view from you! What's your take on T200s for a 15-20 hcp?
TS2 3 hybrid, 4 T300, 5&6 T200, 7-PW T100.
Interesting spin and launch number for those strong lofts. I wonder what 2 degrees of loft would do to the bounce and numbers. Almost don’t want to mess with the lofts at all if you’re going to get that sort of combination of performance. It’s cool to see you as surprised as we are.

All these new awesome clubs coming out, making my decision that much harder. Thought I had my mind made with the i500 or JPX Forged.
Mr Crossfield looking fit recently. Comment about not eating sugar in the last course vlog released. Must be working sir.
Must be trying to get up to 263
Mark Crossfit?
twisted club face... it works!
I am in the market for new irons and have been looking at these and the calloway apex forged irons. Taylormade p790s are a close 3rd though. I feel I am more consistent with these irons however.

Sound and look great... titleist producing some nice clubs at the mo.!! Bomb ball!!!! Cheers guys xx
Going to get fitted today for new irons ,I’ll try them
Only a golf nerd would say that a club is sexy!
More of that to come 👍👍
Mark Crossfield can’t wait 👍🏻
I’m seriously think these might be for me this time around, trying tomorrow
“Only thing I don’t like is I don’t know how their doing it “ 🤣great stuff brah!
I’m a high spin player who’s biggest struggle is keeping my ball flight down in windy conditions. Very excited to go to see a fitter and play with these irons 👍🏻
As said, i think u can make a supersplitset cb 7-pw and just ad T100, T200 and T300 7 irons and u are fine to 190-210y depending swing speed.
So glad to see a game inprovement iron with great ball spin numbers !! Hate thos god awful knuckel balls that go miles high and hit green an roll off the back or sides !!!
This set I will have to look into !!!
I play cobra, I have been close to purchasing AP3 irons but never did the deal. T200 look good but might wait a year till this price comes down.
I think titleist should put it out there more that they can change the lofts up and down and match the gaps for a combo set. Not seen anything from about it. Callaway were pretty up front on the apex combo set. These look great but keeping my powder dry til I see what the new mizuno mp20 can do.
Can you put it against the 919 hot metal pro ?nice looking club with good numbers.
Does the higher spin mean no knuckleballs?
Seems like the arguments for blades are evaporating.
WASH YOU'RE MOUTH OUT JEREMY!!!! There will never be that day! LOL!!! :)
So, how are they doing it?
the t200 short irons without the screw on the back looks soooo much better
Not sure if I should go for the T200 or T300.. Hopefully, you guys can review the T300 soon..
Looks like a great iron! Maybe the answer to the P790's and Cobras Forged tech irons.
Cracking vlog guys 👏🏼
I’ve played blades for a long time and honestly I’m to the point I would like to play something like this that’s more laid back
I like these but don’t want a 43 degree PW. I have nearly new glide wedges starting at 50 that I’m not swapping to start at 48. Can the 8, 9 & pw be weakened in loft so pw is 45 ?
Much more consistent spin than my i500s. These are going in the bag!
Thanks for another great review!
I’m enjoying the video per club idea
Are you going to do a summary video after them all to review your findings and thoughts across the range?
I think more consistent ball speed is a good thing for lower speed players and the added launch helps. If you just have to much speed then hitting these will have bad results but that's the minority.
As much as many people passively trash gi irons. I'd really like to see Mark game some for say 3 full rounds and follow up on the same coarse with the bladiest of blades and compare scores.
I played GI on the channel for over a year?
Interested in blending with T100, but then I saw the specs. How can you blend these??. Once you bend an irons you are affecting the bounce of the iron. Any suggestions?
I'm confused at your surprise in the numbers... Those are virtually the exact same numbers you were getting with the AP1 (sorry) 6 Iron and still really close to numbers you were getting with the T100 6 Iron. The boys down at Titleist know how to make good performing clubs in many different shapes, but I think club technology has performance metrics maxed out in almost all models. BTW, love the content, keep it coming you Muppets!
Perfect for mid-high cappers playing the wrong tee box. I play off 3 and sold my AP3's because I don't need a 160yd PW playing 6700 yard tracks.
Looking well mark. Better get another footjoy order in for a size smaller. Loving the content as usual.
I'm impressed with the review 😜
Mark i would like to see you and Dan play a round with a set of T200. it would be interesting to see how they perform on the course
Why do they put less loft in game improvement irons when more loft will help hit it straighter. Will/ can you test deplane loss with less lofted iroms
Watched my mates fitting at the Celtic Manor today, had a whack too, undoubted quality and consistency, but beaten by P790 and Ping G410 on performance 🙈
Interesting. Beaten how exactly? I'm in the market for these irons and was seriously considering G410 until I saw these. Please help a guy out. Thanks!
Will be giving them a try at some point
must be the density of the metal producing various sound waves at different freq or something
I have a set of these clubs and love them but the weight in the back of my 4 iron seems to be a little lose. Does anyone know what I can use to tighten it?
I have the same issue with a t200 2019 pitching wedge, is that ok or how could I fix it?
Hi Mark, sorry if i have i missed it, but what shaft are you using in those T200 ?
Also any chance you want to donate that camo Titleist carry bag to me 😍🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼😏
How does this compare to the preceding AP3? I assume with AP3s still on store shelves, Titleist doesn’t want that comparison yet.
😂😂😂 Mark, your head is twisted up like a pretzel with this range of irons “how do they do it” lol
they make an awesome sound
Have they bought speedy foam from Taylormade?
Hi Mark, thus new range do look great and seem to be doing the right things. Have you ever tried orka irons (rs10s) as they claim to get (have done from vids seen) gain distance with weaker lofted (36° 7 iron) clubs. Interested to know your thoughts.. Keep up the good work..
Duncan Jones it’s distance gained vs that of a 7 iron you’re not fit for, meaning you’re probably seeing a fitting gain rather than a gain derived from club design performance
The max impact tech only works until the 7i? So it's pointless to buy 8-PW as it won't have the tech and it will be the same as my current clubs?
Not sure many would argue that
Please do another video on the filthy “D” .....(plane)... and loft and all those nasty things that nobody wants to talk about.
Would love to see one of your in depth analysis of these things!
I love the honesty, T200 blend in the bag now 😉
Hey Mark great job on the content you put out. Question for you - if one goes for a blend of T100 and T200 would weakening the lofts in the T200 be an option to get the right gapping ? Thoughts ?
The technology launches the t200 higher so gapping may not be a big issue blending
Is that the same power button as my TP 09’s ?
So how’s the forged feel? Soft?
tech looks very similar to the taylormade burner irons inverted cone
Does
isn’t it the tungsten low toward the sole that gives the higher launch?
