I was so happy that they finally came out with a smaller face but im disappointed that it does not do what s3 does. Ex. Pick up phone calls ,texting and pay . I guess im going to have to wait longer. Great video on going through everything.

Hi Kirk, I purchased my Gear Sport yesterday and cannot seem to get the Armour RECORD app loaded on the watch? Any instructions would be much appreciated.

I wonder when will tizen 3.0 be available for OTA download. I thought it would drop the day the Gear sport was available.
Did you charge it first after taking it out of the box or power it up right away and drain it completely before the first charge?
Great video and information. I have definitely been considering this due to all the constant issues with Android Wear 2.0 and the lack of a small form option with heart rate sensor and NFC.
I had android wear watches like Moto 360, LG Urbane, and others and gave up. they didn't see committed to the OS. Samsung has done a great job with the OS and watches are really well designed.
Polar M600 or NewBalance Run IQ might be for you then.
wonderful video. Does the clock measure the heart rate countinously? or only when you are doing an exercise? or only every 10 min?thank you!
For workouts is continuous but daily is just checking on intervals when you are not working out.
QUESTION: Does Samsung Gear Sport have automatic native sleep monitor option?
the lack bixby doesn't bother me, Ive been using a Pebble Time for a few years now, (Im now somewhat reluctantly looking for a replacement before june) and that allowed you to send Texts, Messages & Emails with Voice to text which was all i needed really
i would love if it could launch hr app when double pressing a button..that way i dont need continuous hr all the time

Not having Bixby is a turn off. I was thinking of buying this because of the size but now I don't know

Just got mine yesterday. For a fitness watch, it doent have a timer or stopwatch...leans more towards smartwatch not fitness. Other than that, so far so good.
You need to add the apps from the galaxy store. It does come with some fitness but those you seek are in the Galaxy watch store. Timer and stopwatch
