    Hurdles aren't super common, but I would say they have become more common in the modern game that emphasizes athleticism and speed players. Back before the (my opinion, let's say) mid-late 2000's hurdles were more difficult because rules on tackling were much more forgiving. A guy couldn't afford to hurdle when a Linebacker was allowed to launch upward and knock them out. Now you sort of NEED to aim tackles low to avoid penalties. (I'm no expert, just my opinion from watching since I was 5 lol) Cheers

    • @durant6176
      @durant6176 3 года назад

      Also highly recommend taking suggestions on individual player tapes if you want to learn who's dominating currently, maybe who stood out the last few years. I'd HIGHLY suggest Rob Gronkowski - GRONK (by Joseph Vincent) - living legend, still playing after retiring for a year. Top running backs I'd recc (fun to watch) - Alvin Kamara, Christian McCaffery, Derrick Henry, and Dalvin Cook. Receivers to check out: Antonio Brown (lots of off field issues, insane player), Michael Thomas (recent record breaker), Stephon Diggs, and DK Metcalf (young STUD). Cheers again

    You may be fast, but these guys are ridiculous. The AVERAGE 40 yard dash in the combine for a wide receiver is 4.49 seconds (and their average size is 6'2" and nearly 200lbs)--for perspective, Usain Bolt runs a 4.22 second 40 yard dash. One of the main differences between American football and sports like rugby and soccer is the stop and start; athletes train specifically for massive bursts of speed (and strength for linebackers), rather than general endurance, and so it's a different type of speed.

  • @Persadish
    @Persadish 3 года назад

    Quick rules explanation: You score points if your team takes the ball into the opponents endzone (touchdown), or you kick the ball through the vertical posts of the opponents endzone (field goal).
    Your team has a squad just for offence, and a squad just for defence. Whoever has possession of the ball is on Offence.
    You have 4 attempts (called: downs) to score. If you haven't scored in those 4 downs, the opposing team gets the ball. HOWEVER, if your Offence progresses 10 yards, or more, from where they started, then they get a new set of 4-downs to try again. That's called a "First Down". The conventional strategy is to keep getting First Downs until you're close enough to score a Touchdown or kick a field goal.
    Now, if your team hasn't come close to gaining 10 yards after 3 downs, they don't have to use the 4th down to try and pick up the remaining yards. Instead, they can use that down to kick the ball over to the other team. That way, the opposing team has to start their 4-downs MANY yards away from your endzone, which your Defence will now have to protect.
    The game is 4 quarters long. Whoever has the most points at the end of the game wins. That's the basics.

    Hurdling usually happens when ballcarrier meets a smaller player in open field. They try to tackle low, and as soon as ballcarrier sees any motion showing that, they hurdle. Usually they can leap over a player already going low, but sometimes they get blown off the air. That is humiliating.
    So, react to this video: FAILED HURDLES ruclips.net/video/_yNbhy-Ga38/видео.html

  • @paton9520

    Field is 100 yards with 10 yard endzones(scoring area) at either end, you get 4 downs(chances) to get 10 yards, if you get 10 yards you reset your downs, 1&10. Most times teams kick the ball on 4th down. Either, down field so the other team has to start from further down the field, or if close enough try to kick the ball threw the uprights(goal posts) for 3 points. However if you can get to the endzone you score 6 points, with a chance to get 1 point by kicking threw the uprights, or 2 points, if they can get to the endzone in one try.
    PS react Bobby Orr, lmao

  • @zeeflin6095
    @zeeflin6095 3 года назад

    Hurdling is so amazing because it is so dangerous. You are jumping into the air and could possibly get hit in the air and go flying which can and has caused serious injury. In lower leagues it is illegal to hurdle and you will get a "penalty" (loss of yards and a down). ///// You get 4 downs to go 10 yards. The feild is 100 yards. ///// As a kid playing football you are taught to tackle low because it is safer for you and easier to bring them down. They way i was taught was being asked a question by my coach which goes, "What do you use to run?" Which is obviously your legs. So if you take their (ball carrier) legs then they can't run.

    A lot of these were actually college football and not NFL. And college football also has bigger stadiums that the NFL. When you made that comment about stadiums in the USA, that was a clip of a college stadium in the background.

    React to American Freestyle Bullfighting. They are CRAZY. They stand in a ring and juke out a bull. It’s nuts.

    I noticed a lot of these teams are college teams. Last time I checked Oklahoma Texas and Nebraska aren't in the NFL. They should be but they aren't.

    In terms of athleticism Football >>> Hockey. I don't think there's a sport with such high athletic demand

    A team can have more yards than the other team and still lose. All about dem touchdowns 6 points, fieldgoal 3 points, extra point is worth 1 and 2 point conversion is worth well 2. Also if you tackle the other teams ball carrier in there endzone that's a safety and is worth 2 points. There's alot to football but fairly easy to understand. Offense has four downs to make a a first down which is ten yards, once you get the first down the downs start over to 4 again.
    On 4th down Depending where you're at on the field usually determines going for it to pick up the first down, punting the ball away to the other team, kicking a field goal if you are close enough to make it or you can even fake the field goal to pick up the first down.
    Football is America's true past time not baseball....
