Adam Couser react to college marching bands
What if you did a comparison between NFL and NHL hits?
Watch Anderson Silva
Highlights
Adam Couser a lot of football players end up with CTE when the they retire. CTE can cause change in personality, memory lose and an increased risk of suicide. This is a touchy subject as some people disagree on whether or not it’s actually as common as people think, or as bad, etc.
U should react to the “make a wish kids touchdown gets denied”
Matt Murphy bruh 😂😂😂😂😂😂
This
Matthew Murphy
I’ve seen it before, went and watched it five more times after seeing your comment.... just too too funny. “Born with a potato for a heart.” It’s a mashed potato now....
is that the kid with a potato for a heart?.. hahaha..
lmao ikr
When you get without knowing it’s called a blindsided hit, they hurt chief.
Justin Valencia no they don’t your body is relaxed and goes with the hit which doesn’t hurt as much as when you fight against the hit.
D1 Yea tbh they don’t hurt only thing that hurts is the way you land when you get hit
They don't hurt me
In Highschool, Chris Henry blindsided me stupid hard. The hit hurt, but the landing hurt more.
Blind side is much better, kinda like why drunk drivers survive crashes more.
Football player *makes textbook tackle*
Adam: how r there not deaths
there is a classic line in football from coaches to their players. "Are you injured? Or are you hurt?" the meaning being. Can you play through the pain? If you're hurt, get over it and keep playing. If you're injured get off the field. that is the mindset. doesnt matter if you just got hit by a bus going 80mph. be a man, and get up.
snowign7 I think that's for every sport
@@antonioiniguez3484 not really.
snowign7 well, my cross country coach tells us the same thing
@@antonioiniguez3484 the first thing that came to mind was European soccer players flopping. i think thats one of the reasons folks in the USA have a disdain for that sport. they're pretending to be hurt when they're not hurt. basically the opposite of what i mentioned above. have a nice day :)
Played with a broken leg once
You should see nfl biggest trucks
( example : running somebody over for yards )
Or just watch marshawn Lynch highlights lol
Hershel Walker!
Suggestion; Best “Big Guy” Moments In NFL History
Put yourself in their shoes, Adam.
Getting destroyed by someone who is 6ft 8in, 300lbs less than 10% body fat
No thank you 😂
Helmet to helmet IS illegal in football and targeting the head in general
Helmet to helmet hits are only illegal if it is a defenseless player. So there is no general rule that says helmet to helmet hits are illegal!
I agree that targeting is illegal in all cases.
@@kokomo9764 Incorrect! If you watch football, you know the refs call any helmet to helmet hits as long as they notice it
@@CWNative I suggest you read the official NFL rulebook. I have and you are flat out wrong.
@@kokomo9764 Don’t need to when I watch football every Sunday, Monday, and Thursday lol I know what I’m talking about bro. Merry Christmas btw!
While playing football I got my nose broken so often I just stopped resetting it after the 8th time or so
"I'm just gonna lay there..." - the problem with soccer. :)
That’s not all of us but yeah flopping is some pussy shit
There is hella injured in the sport. I was out for my season because I went to catch a ball and got obliterated. Tore my ACL and I broke my collarbone.
There are deaths, three in high school football in the last few weeks
Now- I am dying laughing watching you react. Hell of a shit day do I so needed this
But deaths are EXTREEEEMMELLYY rare.
And quite a few of these seem like just really clean heavy hits...
Notre Dame, Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Minnesota, Wisconsin, etc
Ethan Garrels only for hockey
Adam, can you either react to NHL Goalie fights or NHL line brawls or NHL Brawls
How are there not nose broke: *face mask*
How are there not jaws broke:
*face mask*
How are there not deaths:
*there are*
Although all of these thing do happen. You can even be paralyzed by hits. A guy became quadriplegic from one. Although the major things are concussions. And you do have to watch your neck. Cause you don't want to hurt that. *also you should react to nfl trucks*
The only deaths in the past 50 years are usually from heat stroke in practice or issues resulting from paralysis, which usually happen years after. One NFL player did have a heart attack on the field though.
That’s why they teach to keep your head raised
I got my nose broke on a play when my helmet got knocked off and I proceeded to get up and block with no helmet on lol nose was spraying blood like a water hose for a few minutes. Just picked up my helmet, plugged my nose and went back on the field after the 1-play delay rule for helmet coming off during a play.
Those facemasks don't really help when they go for that face for some reason people like to play dirty
*being late on purpose so that all the comments won't say "first" every time I scroll*
Lol...can you imagined if they acted like European football players n rolling around on the ground n playing dead after getting hit....
Honestly, you should react to a bunch of light hearted sports moments. NHL, NFL, anything!
Adam I’ve been a long time subscriber can you please do suicide passes in the NHL
I play high school football, and sometimes there’s broken bones or torn muscles, but if it ain’t that bad you just gotta play through it
Fun fact you can hit someone’s legs when they are in the air
there have been some games I've seen live when the player gets paralyzed from a hit to the head. That's why they teach you to hit with you your shoulder into the chest
I’ve played football most of my life and a lot of these hits look more painful than they feel
Some teens have died playing high school football
:(
And college and NFL
1 NFL player (heart attack) has died on field, but there are 2 deaths per season on average in college football that are directly associated with football.
www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5343527/#idm140409820448528title
Most deaths are heat stroke and overexertion during practices.
Life is dangerous and it is never safe! More kids drown in small buckets of water than die of disease. Stop pissing on the party you negative miserable person! I hope that you at least realize that you are miserable and should try and change yourself into a loving, caring, HAPPY person rather than being a miserable pest who shits on people's good times and happiness. "High school kids die in football." That's YOUR concern? So many more things to put your minimal energy to. Again, life is dangerous and ultimately deadly. These guys having fun and being MEN on a football field are taking risks and loving it. You, on the other hand, seem to be a scared little girl who will NEVER take any risks in life and then you will regret it forever! Failing is ok sweetheart. Getting up to try again is what life can be for you. Good luck! Seriously, break those chains and greatest of luck to you. -Matt-
You will when you are a 100% NFL / FOOTBALL fan when you actually understand most of the RULES and are able to criticize the referees when they make a bad call and you know that you are absolutely correct with your opinion! :-) Also, as a real fan, you will be able to correctly say that a player, especially the quarterback, made a stupid mistake and you can't possibly forgive him for it because YOU, sitting your fat ass on your couch, would have definitely have made a better decision! :-) Seriously, I LOVE the NFL! Learn ALL of the rules as best that you can and your appreciation of the sport will grow immensely!! Cheers Bro!!
You should react to the redwings avalanche rivalry it had some amazing fights
You are funny. Football is great. These guys are in great shape & padded up to the max. It's very rare for someone to get seriously hurt....Maybe, some broken bones, etc....
Broken nose is pretty rare because of facemasks, broken jaws can happen when the mask/helmet gets pushed up during the hit. Bill Romanowski has a pretty famous one breaking Kerry Collins jaw if you care to look it up.
I've broke hands and noses and shoulders and knees... Heard of people dying and getting paralyzed
On kick or punt teams. We were called suicide squads lol. Popping pads.
How about we delve into the world of boxing ? Mike Tyson knockouts.
i mean i play american football and it doesn’t hurt as much as it looks😂😂 the pads and helmets we wear are surprisingly good this season was pretty good i only got three fractures in my arms /legs respectively but they weren’t that bad.
6:03 Howdy from Kyle Field in College Station, Texas
You've already watched a clip of someone getting their jaw broke. I think it was one of your first
As someone who was a receiver in the past, I've been blindsided by some hits like this (but not at this level). But when you get hit like that, boogers fly out of your nose, your ears are ringing and your brain stops working for a second and you forget that you have a football in your hand. The fact that so many of these guys held onto the ball is impressive.
Look at Alabama crimson Tide highlights
Well for jaws it’s the chin strap that holds it in Place and well your nose is in your helmet
Theres a lot of concussions but that face mask protects their jaw and nose
I nearly died from a hit once. I got hit hard. I got a concussion, tore my collarbone off my body, and popped holes in my lungs😂
Hines Ward broke a jaw with a block look that up
Could you play football in college or the NFL
There are deaths, they just aren't instant. A career full of concussions can do some serious damage.
Check out highschool football now!
Do best college football traditions
The classic question is: Is this legal? Lol
React to worst mlb injuries
Most of those hits are legal to me. "From a hockey fan".
There are some major injuries but not deaths
Can you react to NHL cheap shots later
React to best nba fights of all time please
The gear is very protective
i literally just finished watching your last video, I've been loving your videos lately. I recently just found your channel and I really like it (coming from an NHL habs fan but shh haha).
Thank you 😀
You should react to Carey Price saves for NHL. He's basically a legend
Do more of these videos plz
6:23 is the biggest hit of ‘em all
That's my college team
Good vid I subbed and liked
The answer to your question: the pads lol
3:00 dude he's got to wait for a receiver to be open. You don't just throw the ball as soon as you get it.
He was supposed to have time to find an open receiver to throw to but he couldn't see his offensive guard missed his block leaving him open to get smashed.
Please react to “The Malice In The Palace”. Basically what happens when shit turns sideways lol
To be honest:
It's the pads and helmets. Without those there would be death.
TheDJdragonflame but still with those we still have some serious injuries and deaths sometimes
Adam can I have a kiss?
There is trust me
NHL big hits
There's a common perception among Americans that Soccer players are soft. The American Football players are just tough. "Put me in coach!". Coach says, "Son, your arms broke." player, "put some tape on it, I'm good." lol.
Do a reaction to the biggest player in the NHL, 6’9” 225 lb Zdeno Chara (pronounced “zuh-day-no char-uh”) Captain of the Boston Bruins. Here’s a link to a video for a reference. ruclips.net/video/1basz-WWITg/видео.html
I'm just gonna say it... there have been many deaths and career ending injuries but mainly we american footballers have helmets equipped with obviously padding, but also chin straps which help in a few ways and most use mouth pieces which is used to protect your mouth. And for a short answer... we are built for pain with pain.
3:13. Alabama, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2015 and 2017 champion, roughing up what appears to be Mississippi State University.
Adam,
The only NFL game I ever attended was in Chicago. The Bears were playing some team I now forget. The Bears had a safety named Doug Plank. Plank's speciality was spearing. Spearing was the use of your helmet to hit the other player. The NFL is now attempting to outlaw this move. Due to injuries..... Concussions namely.... And other injuries! Look him up... Take care!
It’s crazy how he cringes to the sounds of helmets and shoulder pads cracking together but if you play football it’s the best sound ever especially when you hear the guy go “Ugh” off a blindside!
I can call out 3 now NFL players that delivered hits in this video.
CB Kemah Siverand
CB Byron Murphy
LB Mack Wilson
React to the biggest NHL fight of all time
I meant fightS not Fight
Hello again : ) I'm relatively new to your channel, & I LOVE the NFL reactions and this was funny as well. Two things I'd love to see from you are
1 - Your favorite clips of your favorite sport... I mean, you're learning from watching these about my favorite sport, why not flip it around for a video or two?
2 - Reactions to Bill Burr and Jim Jeffries comedy... I'd love to see if these guys make you laugh as hard as they make me.
Anyway, thanks again for letting us watch you cringe before each hit its hilarious and that's a big part of why I subscribed 😂😂😂
Peace!
We break our noses, hands, fingers.... tape it up.... GO BACK OUT, and lay them out next time.
Hey Adam, I’m 17. Senior in highschool and committed to The University of Florida. Nose breaks are common when you’re tackling or blocking. Deaths aren’t super common, but we had a kid die on the field when I was like 12-13?! Because he got tackled weird and snapped his neck.
Hey Adam check out Leonard Fournette’s college highlights. One of the most gifted college runners of all time. Grace, speed, and POWER. Well worth your time.
If I remember right, if the ball is punted and a player wants to catch it but not run with it, they wave. The wave means "Fair catch." If the other team sees the wave, they aren't supposed to tackle the catcher. Instead, the next play begins where the ball was caught. But if the catcher doesn't wave, they're fair game for tackles. Or, as you fabulously put it, being hit by a bus. XD
3:54 the ball hanging like that is a punt play and the biggest collisions come from those and kickoffs. The NFL is trying to reduce the number of big hits and injuries, but I say BRING THE PAIN! #49ersFamily
First View and 2 Like Woot! I’m American that loves College Football ( Go UF Gators) but not so much NFL. Love this. I also played Soccer from age 3 till 12 ( I moved to Georgia which didn’t allow girls to play with boys)
Most of the hits in this video are whimmpy!!!! Want to see some HITS Check out the Nebraska Black Shirts *Defense* of the 70s-2000. Esp the 90s. There is one where Nebraska kicks or punts the ball to Oklahoma and the guy that catches it gets REALLY lit up and knocked out and Nebraska picks the ball up.
Half of the hits in this video are hard pushes or the guy going down spearing the defender in the gut with his helmet and then going down.
You should check out the Red Wings vs. Avalanche brawl(rounds 1 and 2). A little background info first. The Red Wings were pissed about an illegal hit that almost paralyzed one of their players the last time they played and the guilty player never apologized after the game.....McCarty has a long memory and that's why he was hunting for Lemieux.
My dad played college football for BYU and his favorite saying was "Happiness is... Hitting your opponent so hard he forgets his own name; but remembers yours FOREVER!"
He was so much fun to watch football with!
That is one of the reasons why I keep begging you to do another reaction video on NFL or college football! They are so much fun for me to watch your reactions to! So for like the 6th time now pretty please put a new one out? How about one of the many of out the best footwork in the NFL? I know you like to see them dodge tackles and run it across the field... Barry Sanders just had his record broken this season he was third place all-time I believe rushing but I'm not sure and that record just got beaten maybe two months ago. Come on Adam please do a new one on NFL or college football here! I'm going to keep asking this is like the six-time LOL but I don't care I'm going to keep asking until I see new ones coming up :-) I know I'm not the only one that subscribed to your channel because they like your reactions to those particularly :-) have a great day y'all
The clips didn't include "The Hit" from Jadaveon Clowney in the 2013 Outback Bowl. Best hit in college football history and even had a little back story from the play before.
Again, I'm from Texas. I started football when I was 6. I've had a BUNCH of concussions, but usually, you dont get ya face broken, and bloody because of the helmet. Chop their knees and stand up man.
Happy Sunday... recently you just reacting on sports i missed you react on singers too😪 when???❣️❣️❣️🇵🇭
I play football and I have broken multiple bones and also have torn my ACL......it's tough but I love playing the sport
Interesting fact: back in the early 1900's there were deaths from playing football. There was talk of banning the sport. Teddy Roosevelt came along and instituted rules that saved the game. Side note: Now maybe you can see why Americans get irritated with soccer players who take dives and roll around "injured".
@Adam Couser There are 100% broken bones and injuries. Speaking of, you should see the hit from today. Mason Rudolph, the Steelers’ quarterback, got hit so hard he was unconscious on his feet. It was a nasty hit.
2:50
They point it out after the play but the RT missed his blocking assignment. (#78 I think?). That’s why the QB was taking his time, RT must’ve missed the snap or something but he was late 👍🏽
Theres, on average, around 3500 injuries per season in the NFL (injuries that take at least 2 weeks to come back from)
@Adam Couser. I played Defensive Tackle and heavy Linebacker. I have been playing football for 6 years. Only once while playing football one of my teammates got severely got injured. His right femur (lower right big bone in his leg) got broken in two and was showing. I have been a coach for the pass 4 years in have not seen anything yet.
Broken noses happen when people don't wear visors. My cousin broke Ben Roethlisberger's when they faced the Steelers in 2010. This is why players sometimes wear visors under the facemask. Broken jaws however are less common although I've heard of it happening. As far as deaths, they do happen but seldom. Most of the deaths that occur from football happen long after the game is over. Years down the road because of the effects of brain damage like CTE or slow brain bleeds. Sadly a lot of players end up taking their own lives because of it. Or they die in their sleep as a result.
College Football isnt as refined as the NFL. They're basically just kids, so they're prone to make more mistakes, which makes for some pretty big hits. It's different, but it's kinda fun that way.
Just for me. Tore both ACLs and an MCL broke my leg in two places in 4 years of football. Ironically enough big hits generally hurt less than bad falls or twists. Get winded take 5 and keep goin, otherwise get back out there. Dude on my team would literally blackout for periods of 15-20 minutes at a time and be playing and totally forget what had happened.
Bit hits are fun to watch, but the real danger is knees and ankles.
I’ve always preferred college football to the NFL just because they seem to play harder… The reason being is they’re trying to make it to the NFL. Once they’ve made it to the NFL they play safer, because they don’t wanna be injured and lose all that money!!! LOL
Sports Science with Ray Lewis breaks down an NFL/College hit. I won't stop suggesting Sports Science lol
Hits : big
American : football
Deaths : none
Built : different
How do these people not die, you ask? Well they do, but like about 30-40 years later, when the long term damages from CTEs and other severe head-related instabilities finally catch up to them...
