Brown at 3:10 was one of the best players in the league at the time, but this hit started a downward spiral for him and now he's an absolute maniac off the field. Keep the NFL videos coming Adam!
I'm just gonna copy & paste from my reply on another comment: That's absolute bullshit. CTE isn't caused by a single hit and you can't even tell someone has it unless you take his brain out. Brown was always a loony and Steelers players have been calling him a time bomb even when he was still playing under his rookie contract. Character issues were the big reason why Brown dropped in the draft in the first place.
You need to see the offensive players stiff arming, trucking and break tackles of the defensive players. Players like Marshawn Lynch, Bo Jackson, Adrian Peterson, LeGarrette Blount, Christian Okoye, Derick Henry, etc
@@PM-qp5he since when? The Steelers are just a physical football team and have been for decades. Year in and year out. Only the Ravens can make that claim year in and year out. Great rivals that always have good to great games twice a year.

And if you couldn’t tell by the video Baltimore and Pittsburgh hate each other 😂
I wouldn't quite say Anquan Boldin (Cardinals receiver) was okay. He received surgery for a sinus fracture, wires put into his lower jaw to correct his bite, and had a concussion.
American football is no joke. Crazy to think they didn't even have helmets at one point. When they got the first helmets it was a little bit of padding.
To answer your question, Antonio Brown, at 2:58 definitely suffered lifelong brain injuries from multiple knockouts and concussions (CTE). He just got back to the league on Sunday after being out for a year and a half but his mental state has significantly degraded. It's really common.
Yo Adam!! Playing through the pain 2? sorry for asking so much just reminding u bro 😂 love the vids so much btw big supporter since your first hockey video I’m not lying
The hit on Antonio Brown actually was part of the reason he got into so much off-the-field issues. He suffered a concussion from that hit and behaviorally hasn't been the same since. And there have been instances of some players becoming temporarily or permanently paralyzed from these hits. Sometimes it's even the person doing the hitting that becomes injured
That last clip was the 2008 AFC championship game. Baltimore vs Pittsburgh. Probably one of the best, if not best rivalries in sports. I was at that game and you could hear that hit above all the crowd noise. It was absolutely insane. You should watch the whole game, it was amazing.

The worst I ever saw was a guy get literally knocked unconscious, they brought him to the sideline after they woke him up, and he swore he was at a local concert venue watching a Pink Floyd concert. He ended up missing 5 weeks before he was cleared to play again. It can definitely be scary stuff.

Coming from a Fullback/Middle linebacker, sometimes a hit like that can leave someone close to paralyzed. Antonio brown was one of them. He had been injured against Miami and ended up almost paralyzed, and has made a lot of “hitting” mistakes since.
Adam, look up "The sad story of Ryan Shazier". You asked if any of these hits were long lasting... Well... Ryan Shazier was hit on a play and was paralyzed. He was only like 23-24. BUT, a couple years ago, with assistance, he was able to walk out and announce the Steelers draft pick! 10/10 would recommend
3:11 that is Antonio Brown. After that hit he suffered a brain injury and went borderline insane. At the time he was by far the best receiver in the league. After that, he was released and signed continuously by a number of teams. But he had been a free agent for about 8 months until a few days ago because nobody wanted him! But a few days ago he signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and now he is doing quite well on and off the field.
Ryan shazier became partially paralyzed in that same game with the hit on AB. He’s walking now. And his goal is to make it back to the NFL. Amazing story that’s still being wrote.
So that hit at 3:08 is potentially the start of the unraveling of Antonio Browns career. When he had his major meltdown a lot of people around him were saying it may have been due to CTE (a trauma induced brain condition that will eventually cause dementia) and this is one of the hardest head on collisions of his career.
Hey man, new to the channel but love these videos! To answer your question about the guys in this video, a few of them got pushed into irrelevance soon after these hits, 1 of the hits (where brown gets his head taken off) actually was the start of his dramatic downfall (Search Antonio Brown). Troy Polamalu was the guy with the great hair, someone recommended reacting to his highlights and you def should, he's a freak athlete. Ryan Clark hurt himself on that last hit in the video, and neither player returned for the rest of the super bowl due to concussion protocol. This was a great video tho, thanks for the awesome content!
As hard as our guys play, both teams are always able to forget about the game and show concern for the injured player. All the injuries are shown later. Some become more angry. Some have ended up killing others/themselves. Some have died because of the injuries. Constant hits to the head does irreversible damage. Monkey off your/ my/their back means basically get rid of the problem. #43 has his hair insured for 1million. I don't think he's allowed to cut it. PLEASE DO A VID ON ONE HANDED CATCHES!
I love your reactions , my youngest daughter played Varsity football , she was the only girl on the team and they played her every game ,I couldn’t understand why she liked such a violent sport
The NFL is getting tougher and tougher on bad hits, especially helmet to helmet, but there are a lot of times where it is a matter of the wrong time/wrong place mathematics. Joe Theisman's broken leg, Peyton Manning's broken neck, Mike Utley's paralyzed legs and Damar Hamlin's heart stopping on the field. These are some hard things to watch but it is part of the game although the NFL is doing its best to eliminate these types of injuries.
To non NFL fans, watch the hit at around 4:55. It's the defensive players that call for medical response first. They play hard and hit hard, but there is a respect among players not captured in a lot of these clips.
Im really glad i finally am watching a new video, i've binge watching your older videos so i haven't really thought to comment but @ 4:23 you asked if there were ever lasting injuries and yes, sad as it is to say, there have been many. Ryan Shazier [was a steelers linebacker] announced retirement recently [past 2 months]. Its been almost three years since his spinal injury. Maybe you could check out a Shazier highlight video?
Adam, This is NOT the worst channel on the internet The man you noticed with the hair was/is Troy Polamalu. He was a big-time hitter. He loved football and played like he was on fire. You may want to look up his NFL highlight video. He was always around the ball, always. His hair was reportedly insured for one million dollars. The man was a superb athlete. Good speed, loads of strength, and a nose for the ball. Stay safe....
So I am a high school football player and one thing that happens when you get hit in the head too many times is an increase chance of getting what is called CTE, which starts to like decay or make your brain malfunction slowly over time and with these head injuries cause concussions. I've had two already and you start to lose your memory and your brain doesn't function as well as it used to beofre. So yes mostly all of these players have had life lasting injuries from these hits.
Love the reaction man. We as Americans take it for granted how crazy this sports look outside the country. That CTE is real too.. Check out NFL mic’d up. You’ll hear the actual collisions where players are involved. It’s a car crash
There have been a handful of serious injuries in the past, like Kevin Everett of Buffalo in 2007, and Mike Utley of Detroit in 1991 or 92. Everett was able to regain use of his legs, but Utley, sadly has not. Also, although it didn't happen in the NFL, Nick Buoniconti, who's a Pro Football Hall of Famer, had his son paralyzed in college in the mid-1980s.
