  • Hi Guys,
    I’ve always eaten pasta but limited it to special occasions or when I wanted to ‘splurge’. Since doing Intermittent Fasting and seeing my T3 levels drop and RT3 rise, I started researching the role carbs have on the thyroid TSH. This led me to experimenting with how frequently I could eat pasta or rice without it causing me to gain weight.
    There are so many people that think you absolutely should not have CARBS when doing Intermittent Fasting and then there are people who say you shouldn’t eliminate anything.
    There are also people of the belief that CARBS are an absolute NO NO for the thyroid. This I think is a little extreme, although I will admit I notice the aftereffects it has on my body.

    Iam about to go an see an Endo. What is your drs reaction to you doing IF ?
