      What do you use to make roads? Standard foundations?

      @@merikariuYes, but you can get foundations designs from the awesome shop to make the roads patterns

    Sorry, but maybe you should check out a few other guides to really get all the information for your “ultimate” guide

    This is great. You should include path saving, truck stop timing adjustments, and node deletion.

    great way to explain something simple in a very confusing way for new people, i like it

    You should also point out how to modify or delete the arrows.

    Have you figured out how to solve the issue when you have two trucks and they get stuck when they meet?

    • @quantumx9729
      @quantumx9729 4 месяца назад

      Have them drive along seperate routes on the way there and on the way back, so they are never able to meet.

      use 2 lane roads :)

      Didn't have them meet in the first place. You can't make a guide for common sense

    I know you've probably heard this pun before, but without you, we Satisfactory noobs would be in quite a pickle.

      Also, I usually refer to the tractor and trucks as their nicknames, being the Sugarcube and the Unit respectively, as given by the devs.

      You fill it up and send it out on the route. You don't need a formula, it'll tell you itself

    From my oilfield, i have 2 truck stations set up, 1 for rubber, 1 for plastic.. and at my storage i also have 2 stations for unloading.. do i have to record a route from start to finish with both trucks? or can i load and edit/ add nodes for the 2nd truck? saving me like 90% of the trip work
    I imagined maybe on the second vehichle, you delete the nodes where it drives into the 1st depot and loads up and drives back out to the road again... and then i record new path where it drives to the 2nd depot instead.. and do the same thing on the other end of the route.
    This is just 1 example, but if it works, i could implement it to my iron factory too which has 4-5 different things to transport, but if its too complicated i guess its trains with dedicated cars -.-

      Three months later! Did you ever get your question answered? I just saw this vid, so:
      • you can delete a waypoint simply by walking up to it and interact with "e" like anything else, then click delete
      • the only way to _move_ a waypoint is using Satisfactory Calculator Interactive Map (my favorite tool)
      • sometimes you can combine items in one route, using smart splitters at the receiving end

    how does it compare to belts, i mean how many units can a tractor move and how do you make sure that the right amount of resources is delivered, for example if I want to supply 4 iron smelters they need 120 ore per minute. how do i make sure that the tractor supplies enough?

    • @quantumx9729
      @quantumx9729 4 месяца назад +1

      You can see the exact item transfer rate in the truck station. If it's below your needed amount, you can add more tractors to the same route. The unloading and loading of trucks is the single fastest item transfer rate in the game.

    The ultimate guide to efficient truck use, is to use trains instead.

      well... yes 😅. But some people might've just unlocked tractors and wanted to test that out first before getting to trains
