I never thought of doing this Bonita. What a great idea!! I like that it is budget friendly too. We all need to have some great budget recipes now more than ever. This looked very comforting as well. A month later I see your message on this recipe...Oh boy I try to answer all my messages but some gets lost. Yes Jerri-ellen we all do need to focus on affordable recipes with the cost of groceries these days. But looking back at when I was young I can remember my Mom always looking for affordable options when making our meals. I guess the only difference is people is not use to making do!!
