Thank you for suggesting cross training- I’m so concerned that my heel pain will lead to being completely sedentary. I have more hope of getting this pain under control and I have better questions for my podiatrist.

I do appreciate your kind words. Thanks for watching, and we hope you feel better soon! We want to help you by providing some basic remedies and treatments. However, it is very important that you check with a doctor (possibly a podiatrist) if your ankle condition is not improving!

I have always used minimalist shoes and am in bare feet most of the day as I teach martial arts and fitness in a studio where no shoes are allowed. I developed plantar fasciitis and now bacteria nerve syndrome. I do not have collapsing arches at all. I am very flexible. My heel is very painful at end of day or if I run or walk my dogs for a long walk. The only thing that helps is silicon cupping. I want to know what orthotic I should use!!!! Do the heel cushioning one hell for baxters nerve syndrome?

  • @MrHerks

I’m curious if you’ve ever actually experienced this pain? Roll your heel? That’s like saying stab urself in the heel with a hot blade, the pain is the same, ice for 20 minutes how many times a day? Cause people in the real world actually work. We can’t just ice our heels all day, take pain meds if you have too? I promise you WE HAVE TOO! I wish you virtual “medical” influencers were more in touch with the actual really real world.

BINGO. Most people with this condition are in pain 24/7 even at rest. What the hell is rolling on a water bottle or wearing a huge boot going to do other than cause a compensation injury?. There's scar tissue pressing on and swelling a nerve. An orthotic or frozen water bottle isn't going to magically unfree it. Stretching makes this worse. This requires manual therapy to dislodge the tissue off the nerve. I'm going to try hydrodissection. That is my only hope. Otherwise have to sit and wait for tissue to realign naturally over many months to years, or get a risky and invasive surgery after 100 appointments, 6 months of PT, 6 months of gabapentin, 2 clean MRIs, 2 normal EMG’s, 3 steroid shots, about 1,000 NSAID pills and 5 pairs of orthotics and you’re still exactly where you started off except in more pain from all the aggravating of the nerve.

I don't like those tennis shoes that roll on the tip I fell off the platform what does tennis shoes rolling over I lost my balance and fell where's Aveda been a flat tennis shoe 👟 with no role in the tip I would have been able to balance myself by grabbing the floor with my toes to keep myself straight and I think that's a worst type of shoe for your foot problems he's just he's just advertising business for the tennis shoes.....
