Andy.. amazing… I’ve been a member of the club for 55 years and you have revitalised my love for the course… and the experience of Millport…the best drone shots and photos I’ve seen ever… if you want to come back for a game.. let me know… we can play off the medal tees which make it a challenge.. even for an average golfer…😂Alan.
I played Millport in 2003 or 04 with my cousin and his sons, and still remember the consecutive uphill holes on the front 9, followed by beautiful views over the Firth of Clyde. Thanks for choosing Millport to start this series, Andy!
What a way to go visiting golf courses in Scotland and taking ferries to get there and play a variety of courses. Look forward to your travels to the other courses.
Great seeing this video Andy. Especially as I've just played it myself on Tuesday which was a gorgeous September day. I agree with everything that you said about Millport Golf Club, great place for a wee day out. I am lucky to live in Troon and am a member of Prestwick St Nicholas and also play at the local municipal courses which are great. If you want to join me on any/all those I'd be happy to sign you on. Keep up the good work! Cheers! 👍
Brought back memories of my childhood, long summer days on the island, very few cars, bikes and boats only, wonderful place, must play the course next time I am up. As they say, thanks for the memories Andy, off to Arran next?
Your channel is one of the few I watch on the big screen. Worth It. The colours and character of Scotland. From land locked Australia, many thanks for the voyeurism.
Your van looks mint bro. Could ya show us your scorecard at the end of each round..... If we weren't in lockdown I'd suggest you get a ferry over to nz my friend, though those vistas of Scotland are hard to beat.... love to the camerawoman xx
Tend to slightly disagree about the best views in west of Scotland, back across in largs I am a member of routenburn and the views up there are unreal, can see all of millport from the course :)....all joking aside great stuff as usual....kelburn is the main course in largs too...well worth a visit
The fact Andy has not told us his score emphasises even more that the score is not the be all and end all, yes we all want to make par, birdies etc but that should not be the only driver to enjoying the game. Andy often takes time to appreciate where he actually is and the beauty of the location, as does Liam in golf mates. For sure I am thinking of making day trips to courses to just enjoy playing on a different course
I used to service MOT bay kit on Cumbrae twice a year, been on a sailing course there but sadly not played golf.....as yet. Roll on the Arran courses, my favourite place in the world
Nice and a good wee course! Had a school golf trip here years ago.my mate carved a tee shot into a sheep and I accidentally smashed a big glass bottle of irn bru that was in my bag…happy times!
Off on my own wee Ferry trip next week! Tain to Skye then over the sea to North Uist and then down to Askernish. Come and join me if you have the time in your busy schedule!😉 I will need a good cameraman!

Yes I am very lucky right now
Another great video Andy. Where I play most of my golf, all I see are corn fields. 🤓⛳️
These views are spectacular
Very enjoyable course. Greens were in great nick the last time I played there about 4 years ago. Enjoying your work as always ... keep it up!
Thanks Graeme
I could see Cumbrae from Bute a few weeks ago so I am guessing you are going there or Arran next. Plenty to choose from on those two !
You could be right Mark!

Stunning mate, Mrs Average doing great work on the camera as usual.
I do love me a bit of adventuring golf. Just book somewhere random and go play. 👍🏻
Grew up playing summer holiday golf around the course with my brothers. Great place
So chilled out there
Not sure if it's just a sound effect, or not, but your iron striking sounds really crisp and clean in this video. You been practicing? LOL!
This is going to be a great series. Lovely views, quite an adventure!
That looked like a very nice experience Andy. Great start to your "Ferry Golf" series.
Great trip Dave

Another hidden gem found in Scotland. I hope you had a relaxed low scoring round. Great video again
They seem to have them everywhere! even on the Isles!

what a pity the weather was so overcast as the view is 1000 times better than you had. Arran Jura and other islands are visible.

I need to move to the U.K. Great relaxed golfing.
It is in Scotland
@@TheAverageGolfer I thought Scotland was part of the U.K. I watch a few of you guys, and love the courses, I’m just a California, USA guy.
"Stop whingeing" he said. That's taking all the fun out of it Andy 🤭
