- We've travelled up to scotland all the way up from Bolton with Simon Payne (The PGA Pro all the way from Ras Al Khaimah in the UAE) And my best friend MR Barlow. This is the first of 9 episodes filmed in our Scotland's Hidden Gems Series. We are at the beautiful Glencruitten Golf Club In Oban.

What I'd really like is if you did what Danny taught you to do. Put your right hand behind your right leg to sqaure your shoulders, hips, feet. Then bring the right hand from underneath on the club. I'll click like for Barlow's 5 from the jungle!

Aiming straight at the tree then hitting the ball 45 degrees to the left. Getting out of that stuff wasn’t easy.

Quite lucky, my wife calls it the “man crèche”, she can drop me Saturday and Sunday at 7am, pick me up at 5pm and I’ve been fed and watered and then sleep thru the night 🤣🤣

I've been away on holiday for a couple of weeks and am just catching up on the last two weeks worth of videos.
I've been looking forward to series 3 of hidden gems for a couple of months now. So glad it's back.

The best thing I've learned watching your videos is there is no requirement that one must play 18 holes or, even 9 holes to enjoy golf. At 82 and a caregiver I stopped playing because of the time factor away from home. My course is only 2 miles from where I live. I now started playing again but with 9 holes max and usually just 5. Only downside is my club doesn't allow discounts for short rounds but that's ok. My choice.

Hi golf MATES since my father died some 38 years ago I came to appreciate the countryside but this from the views takes my breath away , and how you took the Areial view is superb , I hope you enjoyed it played well no arguments . Played at Fortrose and Rosemarkie last year. The most beautiful and challenging course I've played on in years. Just superb.
