Stan still has A LOT to learn if he wants to make it as a top player. He really needs to be listening to players like Hendry if he wants to learn and not just talk like he already knows everything.
Good on Stephen Hendry to have a practice with Moody to help him improve. My observation, he's skillful enough for sure, with good temperament about him, but his decision making can be a lot better. You can't buy experience in this game, or else it would be sold in abundance. Which brings me to say, Why be committed to only one option of red when you can have more options?? It only takes an inch out on the intended red positional shot, and without any other option to go for, it means the cueball will need to travel, or possibly a skillful shot would be required to regain control of the cueball. Stan appears to be a young Sean Murphy in his character, stubbornness is good, but he should not feel too proud to ask what Stephen thinks at the time of decision making. Thanks and good luck.

He’s 17
And? That's old enough to join the army and fight for your country.
They used to send kids of 9,10,11 down the pits, I don't get your point.
He's gonna be more obnoxious than Murphy. Stephen's getting funnier 😂
Lisowski next, please.
I noticed in his full interview, this kid can really chalk a cue. Like 6 or 7 times between shots.
Besides that, I think he will go far. Steven pointed out his main pessimistic weakness, he needs to grow some b*lls and be a man, then he's a world champ for sure.
But then how do you tell the kid to stop being moody?
How come Jak Jones hasn't been on the channel?
Love his action, reminds me of Ronnie
Probably should not have dropped out of school..
Probably should have kept your opinion to yourself. 🤷♀
Hate to be negative, but i dont see what the hype is about 🤷 hes go no ball control, confidence, and personality for me.
I doubt he wins majors but he will still make a living out the game.
He's been able to hold his own on the tour, which is no mean feat for a player at his age and experience. I don't know how far he'll go, but he should improve considerably in the coming years.
Great video SH. Thanks. @0:45 and
@15:05 it is embarrassing to ask SM such questions. It should have been edited out i feel.
Why would they edit that out. It's only a question. It was also well worded. And you only have to look at him to realise how alike he looks to Shaun. And anyone that knows about Shaun's past knows that Shaun hit the headlines in the 2000s for committing adultery on his then wife. A year or 2 later little Stan was born. 🤔
@C4rl0s-_-4R but is it not embarrassing for Stan and his dad Nigel in the room? Young Stan has enough pressure on the snooker tour and then being asked if he is Murphys love child, may affect him psychologically.
@@ravivarman2020 he's trying to be the best he can at one of the mentally challenging sports you can play. If he cannot shrug off comments like that how can he expect to deal with the pressures of winning titles. It's all part of been in the spotlight. You need to ignore things that are out of your control and focus on your own career. Sure it may be a bit embarrassing but I guarantee it won't be the first time they have both heard it and it certainly won't be the last.
This boy would do big
Can someone explain what they said at the start something about ”was on a ras on”? 0:05
He said 'It was on a rasson though wasn't it?' Rasson snooker tables are the professional tables, so essentially Stephen did it on a professional table with the best cushions and cloth
I was wondering the same thing...
@@chris-y7d1i gotcha thanks
From another comment I learned they were referring to a Rasson table which is supposed to have more forgiving pockets.
it was on a Rasson table, typically known for tighter pockets and harder playing conditions in general as far as i know, but i havent played on one personally, they are used in itv tournaments i think, e.g. champion of champions
How can you not like any other sport??
What's with him getting three turns?
Coz stephen felt sorry for him 😅
Yeah, I know it all's all for fun but at the same time it's kinda not. There should be a set amount of tries for every player or am unlimited amount of tries within a time frame but it should be the same for every player whichever it is.
@@elone3997 agree. I thought it was 2, well that's what the rest have been given. Ronnie would have had a better chance if stephen hadn't of been waffling on and standing in his view line more or less every shot! I'm sure barry hawkins and mark allen would have loved another try because they were close to completing.
The challenge is a bit of fun, nothing more. I mean, different players have played on different tables and had different numbers of turns (it's not like every player before now has had two attempts on a Star table).
FFS Stephen, these interviews are not supposed to be about you. We know all about you because you always turn the subject back to what you did, in every single video. Shut up already and let your interviewees finish their reply and move on to the next question without telling us how you hated practicing alone, how Ian Doyle managed you, how you ignored everyone and not socialised with other players, and so on and so on.
Not a bad effort Shaun
What is wrong with his arm 😭😭 1:04
This boy is the next best thing, he's the real deal. Remember the name.
The likes of ronnie, trump etc were banging in centuries at 9, 10 yrs old. Stan is a practiced talent rather than a gifted, natural talent. He may make a career out of it, but won't ever be a world beater
What???? Not in a million years...
