I have been binge-watching your videos for a week or so now, watching in chronological order (apart from 4 or 5 that scatter gunned watched when I first discovered your channel). As someone that would immigrate to a subtropical island tomorrow if I had the means and money to do so, you don't do a bad job in making freezing Scotland an attractive place to visit. What a fantastic part of the world, Scotland is!
I spent weekends and holidays on Millport growing up as a child until early teens as my Grandma had a holiday home there. We only lived around 45 mins away inland. My 1st visit was when I was 6 weeks old! It's still a beautiful place although I have not been back for around 30 years but my parents still go for a weekend holiday and they are in their 70's. The Ritz Cafe has not changed since I can remember, if you are lucky you can spot 2 full triangles within the pattern on the tables, each table has 2 full triangles. It was always a game to find them! Lovely to see your video with all the "old" haunts.
I spent every summer of my childhood and early teens on Cumbrae, my family had a house in Millport. The ferries would come into the pier in town in those days. I used to cycle around the island every day, sometimes twice a day. Thanks for taking me back to great memories, as I live far away in Australia now.
Spent my early teens here 4 weeks summer holidays every year. The fair ground in the garrison every night, and the bikes that used to be lying outside the amusements as all the kids would be in there, fantastic memories 👌🏻
LOL. My grandmother owned a house on Westbay and I too used to spend my Summers and September's there every year until i was about 18. In the mornings Id go to the sweet shop and then Mapes to buy a trick toy. It was the best! I too live in Australia, Sydney in fact!
We were from Cullercoats near Newcastle Upon Tyne and every summer from 1968 onwards we would go to Rothesay for our holidays with Mam and Dad. Your videos have taken me down memory lane, reliving those magical summers on the Isle of Bute. My Mam called it " balm to a troubled soul" and would cry every time we crossed back to Wemyss Bay for our return journey !! We visited Largs and Millport many times, along with Dunoon. My brother and I had our photos taken on the crocodile rock back in 1968!! Lovely to see it's still there. My brother later owned the angling shop in Rothesay for many years. I LOVE the west coast of Scotland and on a FINE DAY there is nowhere i'd rather be! Forever grateful to my parents for taking us there 😀
Great video.Loved it. I'm from Liverpool originally, but have spent the last 17 years in Galicia NW Spain. I f*#ckin' love Scotland. Been there a few times. Highlands, Trossachs, Oban, John o'Groats. I can't wait to go back & spend the last years of my life there one day. My soul home. I love watching your videos going around Scotland. Love from Galicia xxx
As a nipper I used to spend my summer holidays in Millport, the Garrison was much better in these days with tennis courts, a great wee cafe and duck ponds. Every day was a cycle round the island day, we used to leave the house at 9am and our parents would not see us again till the street lights came on. Watching this video brings good childhood memories flooding back. I now live in a far off city of San Diego.
A marvellous journey, expertly filmed and composed - overcoming the weather to bring this experience to all -with humour, a sense of how to convey the feel of a place and of course, inform the viewer. Excellent !
In the 1950's when I was a young lad .Granny and Grandpa took us 3 boys to Millport for 2 weeks . All the cars parked up near the ferry and everyone hired a bike so kids were safe from motor traffic it was just wonderfull . Im 70 now but still remember those happy days at Millport
I discovered your wonderful channel only recently and so enjoy watching from country Victoria, Australia. Your lovely partner is a hoot, she cracked me up doing the Egyptian dance 😂. Full of life and energy, both of you and it is a pleasure to watch and see these places that I will never get to see, even when I come to the UK. We did have a terrible wind a few years back, and our outdoor umbrella took off and flew over the house next door, luckily not killing anyone and our BBQ cover flew off and was never seen again. I’m watching today from a sunny and warm spring day here in October 2024 and that looks freezing to me (most Aussies don’t do well in the cold 😂). Thank you very much for these great vlogs!
Steve --- I have watched everyone of your videos from day one and the Millport video has set a new level. Superb effort by yourself and your lovely partner. All your videos are really brilliant but the content and teamwork in this particular one was outstanding. At times you both show your very humorous side and when added to the more serious content is most enjoyable. The fact that you do not attempt to come over as knowing everything about everywhere is so genuine and a very big plus for your viewers. Thank you both for being such a down to earth couple of rising stars on the RUclips circuit. May you both be well and happy. --- Robert & Liz.
Thank you Steve and Alicja for down to earth, interesting, knowledgeable and honest blogs on my home country and further afield. We are living in South Africa.
The ferry doesn’t go straight to Millport because the waters are to shallow and the ferry would get beached. The town isn’t always windy but no doubt in mind that on the island every day there is a windy point on the island. Love Millport and the video Edit: Also in the ritz on the table you have to look for the triangle that isn’t touching any lines. It’s great fun while waiting for you order
The roll on roll off ferry, which now operates, replaced the paddle steamer service from Wemyss Bay and two smaller ferries which used to sail from Largs to the pier in Millport (close to the Ritz). This "roro" service allowed more cars access to the island and of course was much more convenient, but killed many small businesses on the island since stocking up at a supermarket in Largs also became a more convenient and cheaper option. The roro replaced the sail to Millport pier in the 1970's. The paddle steamer Waverly still sails to the pier.
@@martitapere6938 I remember sailing into Millport pier from Largs on a Cal Mac boat as a schoolboy on a trip, around 1980-81 or so. I suppose the new route is quicker, if nothing else.
Sunshine makes everything better. It’s all interesting though, rain, wind, lion rocks, and I like seeing the old architecture too. Thanks again for sharing.
Great to see Millport again..just how I remember it..windy and rainy..lol. Loved cycling down to Largs for a day out from Glasgow as a teenager and taking the ferry to Millport. Great to see the crocodile repainted. Also loving the Seattle Seahawks hat as I live in that area now!
Thanks for letting me have a lovely, lovely day in Millport. The whole family holidayed there for years and years……such wonderful memories! First memories were with”grandma Goldie”. Then Mum and Dad Ferguson and my 3 sisters and myself…Ian and I met there and eventually our children and their wives/husbands came too……….followed by THEIR children (11 grandchildren!!). And loads of cousins ,friends etc.over the years. ……..and now the next generation are following suit. The whole family loved and loves it still…………….it’s that kind of island with many many happy memories ❤. Is the “Derek” who sent the hats Derek Cadzow by any chance??
spent my summer holidays in milport 60 years ago when i lived in Glasgow used to do primary school summer trips there as well, I have photos of myself and my kids on the crocodile rock a few decades apart visited there 2016 I think but live in Canada since 2005, as for little Cumbrea done some survival training many moons ago with the Royal Marines memories thank for showing this keep them coming.
Took my Dad to Largs on my last visit in 2019. A cafe just up from Nardini’s. He passed 5 weeks after I returned to Perth. Fond memories after seeing this. I’ll try Millport later this year when I’m back!! Cheers guys.
I went Millport every summer for my holidays when I was a wee girl. We’d get the paddle steamer Talisman over from Wemyss Bay and get off at the then main pier which took you into town. My dad played a round of golf every day and then mum would meet him at a pub for some pre lunch drinks. In your video I saw the house we used to stay in then in your video, -it was one of the big 3 story houses on Kames Bay. We went into the Ritz Cafe a lot as kids and teenagers. We used to round behind the Garrison where you’d find Andy’s Snack Bar another teenage hang out! Then we’d go to Mapes to rent a bike or buy a new pail and spade! I remember the crocodile rock and I have photos of my son and I sitting on it when he was 3 and then another photo of him sitting on it by himself when he was 16! He’s 46 now!! I’ve lived in Texas for 53 years now and when I back to Glasgow to visit my family we always go to Millport, we might cycle round the island, stopping at Fintry Bay for a snack in the new place across the street from an old wooden place that had seen better days! We stopped by the thinnest house a took photos. So many many happy memories of our holidays. Then on Largs it was great to see the Art Deco building of Nardinis where I worked as a waitress one summer before I did my nurse’s training at the Victoria Infirmary. All the waiters were Italian and one called Domenico called me ‘strawberry Nose!! That wee kiosk at the outside corner of the restaurant used to sell cigarettes only and there was a young Italian guy who worked there, Bruno and he and I would go on walks at night after work and stop inside one of the shelters on the front facing the sea and do some necking!! Do they even call it that anymore? Anyway you brought back many happy memories of those days, funny how I can remember all that but I can’t remember what happened two minutes ago!! 30:22
What a wonderful wonderful picture you painted in my mind. Thanks so much. I've only been to Scotland (Edinburgh) once about 10 years ago at Hogmanay. Stephen's travels have inspired me to explore Scotland. Why the move to Texas?
I love visiting Largs if the weather is good. It has family connections for me as my late Mother grew up in the area. Some of my ancestors on her side, are buried in Largs Cemetery. Largs has the Viking connection due to the Battle of Largs, many years ago, when there was a Viking invasion. There is a monument to the battle, known as the Pencil. It was great to watch your visit to Great Cumbrae and Millport. I did the crossing, several years ago. I left the car at Largs and a bus picked us up on Cumbrae and took us to Millport. Thanks for another great video Steve.
Ahoy Pirates! Absolutely enjoyed this one! I'm a huge wind-fan, so I wouldn't mind! XD Loved dear Pablo, and can't agree more - where there's a donut - you buy it! XD LOved the Lion and Crocodile rocks too! Thank you both for all the efforts and fun! Great start to my super busy day! bear hugs from Captain of the good old Blackthorne
Thank goodness that second day made it all worthwhile. That must have been Storm Eunice or Franklin you were experiencing. Loved the amazing Lion Rock, and loved Pablo too. Thanks for the trip, Steve and Alicja!
That blog brought back many memories from the 60s when i last visited Cumbrie and stayed in a caravan up the hill watching the ships and submarines passing by drinking Coke in the cafe and playing Beatles music on the jukebox also travelled there on the Waverley thank you so much for the memories
I absolutely love your channel Steve! I've been on a total binge this lazy Saturday morning! I've visited Kerrera last year after your video about it, and have lots more adventures planned off the back of your videos. Keep up the great work dude!
What a wonderful QuikTrip! Love here in the winds in the masts. Great to see you guys out having fun even if it is a windy day. Be well, stay safe, don't blow away, love from Texas.
I’m a Glaswegian who has lived in Texas for 52 years and went on my holidays to Millport as a wee girl and young teenager. If was lovely to see all the familiar places, check out my post here!! Bye y’all.
Oh, my goodness, that wind was awful! I love the ear muffs Alicja wears. They are fantastic and I bet that wearing them reduces those awful headaches the wind causes!!! Fab video! I am still catching up on the earlier videos Steve. Enjoy them all immensely. I’m in Australia and find it fascinating seeing the names of towns in Scotland that the early Scottish settlers brought with them. There is a Largs Beach in South Australia. I don’t think I’ve seen one of your Scottish videos where there isn’t a Scottish town name we haven’t used downunder! Too funny.
Milport was the first place I ever traveled to in Scotland all the way back in 2004 when I was a young teen attending Guides camp. I fell in love with the country then and have always wanted to go back there to show my husband. Thank you for this video!!
Great video, lots of places ive not seen in years. The house at 14:27 used to be The Millerston Hotel. Used to be run by a couple called Norman and Maureen (I think). Stayed with my parents every summer and met some great friends there and had so many great times there. Loved Millport and have so many fond memories there. Not been there for many years but would love to visit again!
Reminded me of last summers day trip to Cumbrae, better weather mind you, sunny and nae wind. Will you be visiting Dunoon and the Cowal Peninsula, not an island but if you get the Western ferry from Gourock to Dunoon it feels like visiting an island.
Spent many a summer at largs watching that ferry and the huge waves thinking it would be cancelled nope didn’t happen great video regards Phoenix Arizona
Good view of Cumbrae we usually visit a few times a year and walk round. We did think about buying the Fintry Bay tearoom many years ago and have often looked at properties over the years. Unfortunately many if not most of the nice big houses have been broken up into flats and imagine there are lots just used as holiday homes which makes it more difficult for the local population. Love the place👍
Hi Steve and Alicja. Thanks for sharing this great atmospheric video. I used to be a coach driver in the sixties and seventies and used to visit Largs quite a lot. alway jumped on the ferry to Millport for a visit. Weather was much better though. You dont half cop for the bad stuff. Love and best wishes to you and Alicja.
So happy to share the hats with you both Steve and Alijca! That’s the flag of the state of Colorado, USA on the caps. And thanks for all the great videos! I miss Scotland!
Another great video. We visited Wee Cumbrae in September 21. Clyde Charters do Sunday trips - with three hours on the island - enough time to explore the Castle and Elbow Cumbrae Lighthouse on the west side of the Island
Loved this video..spent many years visiting here..we took family 3 times last year..ritz cafe the best...but also Fintry Bay tearoom is lovely...lots of quirky things in the grounds that our grand children loved..Happy travels you 2 ❤
Oh my goodness? That lion rock formation is mad,! And i am a fierce weather fan? So the rough sea was a bonus for me. Cheers to you both. Oh snd that ice cream desert looked delish! 🙋🏴🇨🇮😃
What an amazing trip! I love that you said the weather was exhausting, which can certainly be true. But it’s a beautiful place and I think it actually looked more natural when the weather was bad. And thank goodness no one has painted the lion rock, lol. It seems you will never run out of great places to explore in Scotland.
Just found your great vlogs, and have been enjoying them. My Gran used to take me and my brother to Millport for Easter Hols in the late 1950s and we used to hire bikes and cycle round the island. Very few cars then so roads safe. I think we sailed from Wemyss Bay and the ship was probably the Maid of Cumbrae or Maid of Skelmorlie. It sailed to Millport Harbour in the town. This was pre Calmac days. I can remember coal being unloaded from steam puffers in Millport. Millport harbour was nor suitable for later Ro-Ro ferries, and this was likely when the Largs route was opened.
Wow, many happy memories in Millport. Remember hiring the Sinclair c5 to ride around the island, lots of golf and then down to the dodgams where I spent the majority of my spends. 🤗
Hi Steve I have sat on the sea front at Largs watching the ferry come and go by golly it was windy and cold xx been waiting for you to visit Cumbrae great to see it many thanks
It's a great wee island. Being keen walkers, and if the weather had been better, you could have both easily walked around it. Also, in summer, Clyde Charters operate day trips to Little Cumbrae from Largs.
Great to see you explore the forgotten area of Scotland 😉 You can catch a boat to wee cumbrae with clyde charters and you can catch a boat to ailsa craig from girvan on the mv glorious, we went 2 years ago and it was amazing 😃 keep up the great videos! 👍
Wow, that's some wild wind! I admire your dedication to producing videos for your channel in such difficult weather circumstances. Sometimes it doesn't make for a very enjoyable adventure but it seems you two still had fun. I love the rock formations! It's a cute little island.....maybe more exploring there in warmer weather. lol I absolutely love learning all about new places in Scotland. Thanks for educating us in such an entertaining way! Keep up the great work! 👍
Thanks so much Janice! To be honest, sometimes I don't think we'd get to some of these places in the weather we face if it wasn't for the channel, so you keep us going :)
Thank you for highlighting our favourite place in the world! Will take you over to wee Cumbrae if you're back there in the summer. Pablo is the friendliest dog as are his family.
16:50 You two look absolutely exhausted. I'm glad I'm watching from the comfort of my office on a Saturday morning! Well done for taking the adventure. Much enjoyed!
Very enjoyable channel. That piece Alicja picked up with writing on it, is part of a jar/bottle of Virol. It was given to children if they were a bit under the weather. Pronounced Virdle in Dublin.
I was there a couple of days ago in glorious sunshine - my previous visit was 50 years ago. I loved watching your video to relive the visit. We went up to the lookout point and could see beautiful Arran across the water.
Decided to go to Largs and Millport as I have not been there for a while. The warm weather helped and got a tan!! I managed to get a through fare tto Cumbrae for £14.70 return which is pretty good. My first trip to Glasgow Central in 3 years, I do love the ferries, the only problem was the bus that takes you to Millport was very busy so I took the executive decision to walk to Millport - 3 miles and walked back - 3 miles and then a cold beer in WS. Millport very busy yesterday but that's good. They should a direct service from Largs to Millport with Calmac.
Superb somehow came to this page normally watch Sailing Boating Fishing Exploring Old Railways and Canals Videos. Enjoyed the Tropical Island in winter look Lion Rock and Ice Cream both look good reminds me when I walking along East Coast Essex when you left the seaside town and walked along the Marshes nothing and virtually no one for miles
What a fab trip! and great Video Steve & Alicja The island whilst small looked tropical in parts when the skies are blue, and the sun is shining! Scotland always surprises!
I am terminally ill with cancer. I look at your viseos daily
❤❤❤
So sorry to hear that, I wish you peace and joy, in this traumatic time. God be with you and your family. 🙏❤🙏
The very best to you and your family .
Sending you lots of healing energy from Glastonbury ❤

That blog brought back many memories from the 60s when i last visited Cumbrie and stayed in a caravan up the hill watching the ships and submarines passing by drinking Coke in the cafe and playing Beatles music on the jukebox also travelled there on the Waverley thank you so much for the memories
So glad to bring back some awesome memories Raymond!
I absolutely love your channel Steve! I've been on a total binge this lazy Saturday morning! I've visited Kerrera last year after your video about it, and have lots more adventures planned off the back of your videos. Keep up the great work dude!
Thanks so much pal! Really appreciate the support and glad to inspire some cool adventures :)
Three words - wow & palm trees? That was a fantastic video and an amazing place! Thanks for braving the weather for us.
I bet you'll remember that trip for longer than any fair weather ones. Mother nature eh? The beauty and the beast lol
My favourite RUclipsr back doing an amazing trip. I love Scotland and will be visiting very soon. Thanks again guys
Richard, thanks again so much!!!
What a wonderful QuikTrip! Love here in the winds in the masts. Great to see you guys out having fun even if it is a windy day. Be well, stay safe, don't blow away, love from Texas.
Thanks so much Kate! We get our fair share of windy weather on this wee island :) Be safe too! :)
I’m a Glaswegian who has lived in Texas for 52 years and went on my holidays to Millport as a wee girl and young teenager. If was lovely to see all the familiar places, check out my post here!! Bye y’all.
Lots of happy memories of this island
Lovely place eh? We need to return in Summer!
"Where you were in the wind is still better than 7 feet of snow", she said smiling. Merry Ann from Minnesota
Haha you are very right there Merry Ann! Take care :)
Too funny.
Lots of WOW'S on this trip. Thank you
Milport was the first place I ever traveled to in Scotland all the way back in 2004 when I was a young teen attending Guides camp. I fell in love with the country then and have always wanted to go back there to show my husband. Thank you for this video!!
Thanks so much! Glad to take you back :)
You both made me laugh. Brave souls. I enjoyed Cumbria in my comfy chair, warm. I could feel the warmth in the cafe.
Reminded me of last summers day trip to Cumbrae, better weather mind you, sunny and nae wind. Will you be visiting Dunoon and the Cowal Peninsula, not an island but if you get the Western ferry from Gourock to Dunoon it feels like visiting an island.
You both are doing a fantastic brilliant job on this island Steve and partner 😊
Watched it again! Gonna watch all the Scottish island trips again, so good 😍
Spent many a summer at largs watching that ferry and the huge waves thinking it would be cancelled nope didn’t happen great video regards Phoenix Arizona
Cheers Peter! Amazed at the wee CalMac keeping going :)
@@steve-marsh would like to send some hats from phoenix if you don't mind
Another great video with brilliant content, you guys are so positive, we love watching you ♥️🚐♥️🚐♥️
Cheers Yvonne! Love it when we can do these together :)
I really love these islands. I must explore Scotland and its islands more. How darn cute was Pablo ❤❤❤
Ha just our luck Derek! We looked at the weather and thought 'doesn't look too bad' but we didn't consider the wind!
Steve, I've recently moved from Edinburgh to Auckland and love seeing your Edinburgh/Scotland adventures. A proper taste of home. Keep it up dude!
Just like the Devonport ferry eh!? (which I used to catch to work every day) All the best with the big move - they don't get much BIGGER than that! :)
@@steve-marsh Funnily enough I just took a trip to Devonport yesterday! Thanks mate!
So happy to share the hats with you both Steve and Alijca! That’s the flag of the state of Colorado, USA on the caps. And thanks for all the great videos! I miss Scotland!
Thanks so much Derrick! What a lovely gesture, and the caps are really good quality - you'll see them on many more videos :)
Another brilliant video, interesting, fun and showing me places I've longed to go....and still hope to! Thanks Steve.
One of my humans had a red Chopper !!! We just discovered your channel a couple of weeks ago and have been binge watching ever sice ; ) Teddy
Another great video. We visited Wee Cumbrae in September 21. Clyde Charters do Sunday trips - with three hours on the island - enough time to explore the Castle and Elbow Cumbrae Lighthouse on the west side of the Island
Thank you SO much for this!!!!
Yet again you both have shown me a part of the world I may never get to, thank you so much and stay safe, cheers.
Omg! Millport is fabulous! Can’t believe you’ve never been! We have family photos of the ‘crocodile’ from years ago! Special memories x
Cheers Caroline! So glad to visit and to take you to a very familiar place :) We're slowly getting round all these fantastic locations :)
Love your video. I have tried nice family vlogs of Millport too, but I enjoyed yours. Looking forward to our next trip there.
Loved this video..spent many years visiting here..we took family 3 times last year..ritz cafe the best...but also Fintry Bay tearoom is lovely...lots of quirky things in the grounds that our grand children loved..Happy travels you 2 ❤
I am very envious of you two, enjoying that Fresh Sea Air ( Being in Scotland) and the Briskness of the day!
This was one of your best. Wild weather, but great fun!
Oh my goodness? That lion rock formation is mad,! And i am a fierce weather fan? So the rough sea was a bonus for me. Cheers to you both. Oh snd that ice cream desert looked delish! 🙋🏴🇨🇮😃
So enjoy your videos! Thanks for taking us along.
Another belter from the Krankies 2.0. Another part of Scotland that's needing an explore. Thank you.
Haha love it! Cheers!
Maybe tomorrow 😂. I really enjoy your videos Steve. During the week after a busy work day, you certainly make me giggle 😃
I wonder if Steve has to check their van for sand blast effects on the paint job?
Haha imagine it was painted! :D
The van needs a good wash! And I still haven't done it :O
Another great video guys .. ⛴ 🎒🧣🥾 💨🌊
Cheers Poppy!
I enjoyed that folks, thank you for taking us on your travels. Millport is a great wee place . From me in Irvine 🤗🤗
Can't wait to go back (hopefully when the weather is a bit calmer :D
Wow, many happy memories in Millport. Remember hiring the Sinclair c5 to ride around the island, lots of golf and then down to the dodgams where I spent the majority of my spends. 🤗
No way, that's awesome Allan!
I thoroughly enjoyed this. Bit blooming windy. A nice relaxing watch on a Sunday evening ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Cheers David!
Hi Steve I have sat on the sea front at Largs watching the ferry come and go by golly it was windy and cold xx been waiting for you to visit Cumbrae great to see it many thanks
Glad to oblige Jeanette! Thanks :)
It's a great wee island. Being keen walkers, and if the weather had been better, you could have both easily walked around it. Also, in summer, Clyde Charters operate day trips to Little Cumbrae from Largs.
Cheers Scott! I was sure you'd been to Millport in a video but I couldn't see it - have you a video on it?
Great channel Steve. Just stumbled across this video now. Love Scotland and looks like I will be having a lot of content to watch 👍
Hey Dave! Welcome aboard, thanks so much for watching my wee videos!
Lovely.... been there.... thanks for the memories! 😊
Lion Rock looks amazing
Great to see you explore the forgotten area of Scotland 😉
You can catch a boat to wee cumbrae with clyde charters and you can catch a boat to ailsa craig from girvan on the mv glorious, we went 2 years ago and it was amazing 😃 keep up the great videos! 👍
Oh boy, thank you SO much for this info - a couple of future adventures for the channel right there!
Watching your video again of Millport Steve. I have all your you tube videos saved, so I can refer to them - Most enjoyable!!!
Thanks for bringing us along .🛳️💗
Thanks Sean!
Love this. My dad’s from Largs originally and we visit to this day with my family. ❤
Thank you for highlighting our favourite place in the world! Will take you over to wee Cumbrae if you're back there in the summer. Pablo is the friendliest dog as are his family.
Superb! Thanks so much Ian!!!
16:50 You two look absolutely exhausted. I'm glad I'm watching from the comfort of my office on a Saturday morning! Well done for taking the adventure. Much enjoyed!
Thanks so much Tudor! It really was an exhausting one to film AND edit! :D
Very enjoyable channel. That piece Alicja picked up with writing on it, is part of a jar/bottle of Virol. It was given to children if they were a bit under the weather. Pronounced Virdle in Dublin.
Beautiful views from both sides…loved it 🤗
Another great video! That island would be a great vacation spot in the summer!
I was there a couple of days ago in glorious sunshine - my previous visit was 50 years ago. I loved watching your video to relive the visit. We went up to the lookout point and could see beautiful Arran across the water.
So glad you caught some better weather than us Deborah!
Pretty island . Love Pablo ❤. Does the poor pup just stay tethered to the chair all day ?😢🐶❤️
You both did very well considering the weather, Still have a Chopper from the 70's
Can I buy it please :) Cheers Derek!
Great video (as always) Steve. And again, an island to put on my Scotland to do list. Greetings from Rotterdam, Netherlands.
Cheers mate! All the best to you in Nederland!
I love your videos! The best on RUclips even when the weather is crap! Keep up the good work!
Hey cheers for that! :)
Cheers Chris! Thanks so much for watching and all the best to you!
What a fab trip! and great Video Steve & Alicja The island whilst small looked tropical in parts when the skies are blue, and the sun is shining! Scotland always surprises!
Thanks so much :)
Steve this was amazing thank you , 2 lovely people showing us around , great clear commentary , and great vibes all round
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed it John!
Two brave souls ! Impressive video !
