I have a Tippex too. Forgot you can set the power. You're right, so easy to use. Bringing mine back into action, alongside my modified hdr, standard hds (until I modify it) and hdx (going to be modified too). The Tippex has a lot of sentimental value for me. I remember once, I decided (with a massive wad of toilet paper in my hand) to release the last "paintball" into my hand. Boy, did I regret that 🤣
+Zach S - the gun have to be tuned up to higher power for self defense, and you cannot use paintballs for self defense, you would need proper ammo like pepper balls or breaker balls and such. No way you will be using paintball power level to shoot an intruder too, turn up the power and that's the way to go.
If anyone is thinking of using one of these for self defense in the U.K. . And u cause actual bodily harm to an intruder wether they are armed or not , because u have this for intending to use it it this manner u will end up in prison and probably have to pay the intruder compensation. Unfortunately that's the way the law works in the U.K.
You can but the Salt brand pepperballs are expensive. You want to use those in a real world situation. A lawyer could argue that the Salt brand pepperballs are specifically designed for home defense. As with the Salt brand gun. If you do end up firing a .68 Pepper ball at someone be sure it’s a Salt brand pepper gun with Salt brand rounds. It makes the job of your attorney easier. Cause you don’t want an opposing lawyer saying you shot someone with a paintball gun and some police use pepperballs. Have to convince 12 people that it was self defense. Less lethal doesn’t mean non lethal.
Hi man, thanks for all you do. Quick questions: where do you get the "Pepperball brand 3.9 gram hard rubber balls"? I can only find the Rap4 black rubber balls, but in a video you said those are too soft. But I've searched and can't find the ones you suggest. Also, what c02 cartridge do you find fits the tips correctly most reliably? Crosman? Thanks for your help!
How are these in terms of size? Would be easy to carry in a belt holster for EDC, or is this something that requires a leg drop to be able to carry it well?
This is a bit too big to EDC you would need a leg drop holster to carry it. If you want a smaller EDC then I would choose a umarex paintball marker. Their glock 17 replica is 1:1 scale so it will fit all glock 17 accessories/ belt holsters.
A bud, im looking for a non lethal pistol for my girlfriend. Watched a couple of your clips and am considering Tipx or salt. Any recommendations any except air soft. we live in California. Get back too me thx...
Johnny Ortiz it’s the same fun with a different marking, that marking will cost you hundreds of dollars more however. More expensive than gold actually 😂
Buy her a taser AND get her a knife. Ideally however have her buy a gun even just a hi point and have her practice with it and read up on self defense laws in CA. Don't mess with paintballs which are completely ineffective against serious attackers.
I have the Byrna that has nasty tear gas and pepper spray together and also solid 3 gram balls that sting like a bitch, you don't want to get hit with either one of those, I load up with both. It won't kill, that's why I like it, the ones that shoot 9 gram can easily kill. I prefer to drive off a bad guy if possible to avoid all the paper work that goes with defending your self in court. If the bad guys have knives and guns, that calls for a real gun but it's nice to have a nonlethal option. I'm too old to fight or obey anyone.
What is your math for stating that the TiPX gives 16 Joules whereas the 8.1 gives 32 Joules? The formula is 0.5 times mass (in kg) of projectile times velocity squared. As you can see, if both TiPX & 8.1 are tuned to the same velocity of 350 ft/s (107 m/s) then the only variable left is the weight of the projectile, which will be the same. Thus both guns should give you the same amount of impact energy if tuned the same. Also, your last plastic bottle comparison is skewed: you first damaged the bottle with TiPX, which could also have been low on air, and you then shot the same damaged bottle with the fresh-co2-loaded 8.1 (which could have been also chronoed higher than the TiPX. I bet I can get the same energy out of both pistols, if I were doing such a test.
N0 Buddy you have not seen my other testings, i have tweaked the 2 guns to the max again and again and no they are not the same power. T8.1 can fire 3g ball at about 480fps and tips cannot do that. I fire 6.2 grams breaker balls with these guns, tipx cannot get the balls flying over 250fps with those, and t8.1 can fire up to 339 fps max from my testing. 6.2grams dude. I have done more test than you can imagine, search up my vids on youtube regarding these...
Get an FSC. The mag holds the CO2, fresh gas each time. Also The Tipx is prone to leak and if the CO2 fails, you cannot mag change quickly. In a self defence situation thats a big deal. Always go for reliability over anything else and the FSC certainly has that. If you're worried about the CO2 being 8g the folks over at CymruTec sell a 12g and 16g version of the magazine.
+pit bull I am not a seller of these but if you are in Canada and want to get into these stuff, email me and I can give you some tips. makjosi@chiinnature.com
Thx buddy, this comparison is very useful. The Tippman way to load gas is not that bad! Wow, but the Tiberius is amazing!!!! I'm continuing to search it... :(
Get a Longer Barrel for the TipX, Stock Barrel is 6 inches long, and one with a smaller tolerance between the Projectile and I.D. of barrel so that each shot is MUCH more efficient this will increase Power and FPS, as the Barrels I.D. to the Projectiles O.D. dimension difference is Very Important!!!!! That dimensional Difference is How Much Leak Down of Propellant gets Around the projectile as it is being Pushed out of the barrel. By reducing this Leakdown you increase Power/FPS effiency. By Measuring all the Possible Projectiles to be used in your TipX with calipers to get their O.D. measurement. then look at the Barrels Bore I.D. A 8 inch 10 inch or 12 inch barrel will be a more powerful shot, also getting the tolerance of the Barrels ID to your standard Projectile O.D Optimized should also be a big help.
Gary West.. so true. Nobody ever seems to bring up the importance of barrel bore size to ball size. The stock TipX barrel bore is way to big for most of these defence rounds. I got a 9" barrel that uses Freak inserts so you can match barrel ID to ball OD. My TipX is now even more accurate and shoots harder than ever. Best thing I did for the TipX.
cadwarrior did you realize the "kick" on this gun too ? no slide or anything that move, but the gun just "jerked" when shot, so cool on camera, hahahaha
Bro I'm buying this. I was about to get the Tiberius but the magazine design on the tippmann is way better.
I went for the tipx and don't regret it
@@brandonsalice1890 where can I buy one?
Ah, interesting. Would these be good for paintball and less than lethal self defense?

Do you have a video where you shoot through a fresh plastic bottle?....It seems the tillman prepped the plastic. Thanks.
Can you do review on Byrna HD please
would leaving the rounds in the magazine over a long period of time cause issues with the mag spring?
No. Its spring steel. It will deform very slightly over time, but not enough to make a difference.
I wanna crank it up and use first strike rounds hoping for 400-450 fps is that feasible
I'm looking for a non lethal hand gun that shoots pepper balls what would you recommend
Which is the most powerful pistol you can get and best for modification for max power
tiberius t8.1 or the FSC right now
@@Chiinnature which fsc
there is only one FSC
Great video as always Mak, thank you and stay safe against Covid-19

Cause I don’t want to get shot in the head from 500+ yards!!!
Hey bro how fast can I get my tipx fps with 3 gram nylon rounds….
make a video on turning the volum
I have a dumb question my tipx doesn’t hold air after I fire about 3/4 round but I don’t see or hear any leaks
So during a gamr youre the 1st guy to shout " im out!!!!"
I want t8.1 but everyone says unavailable
I don't find it avaliable anywhere...
what different ammo can you use for the tippman
Does the tipx have a long barrel modification?
I seen there is an 8inch barrel Killatech or something

ebay has pepper balls,, only buy from africa. they are the best
Can you replace the paintballs with pepperballs? Like ones with the Salt Co gun? Please let me know, anyone.
Windex typically yes, as long as you use .68 caliber and .43 caliber depending on what gun you're using.
