    In Addition i recommend the Empire Dfender with constant 30Joule! setup as Mak showed, but 200 shot magazin inside! And with breaker- or steelballs direct in the breach its fireready from the wall in only 5 secounds ! -not cheap, but great.

      @@scottvaj4434 There is no non lethal weapon that can beat a pepper ball gun loaded with pepper balls or salt balls. only real guns are more dangerous than pepper ball guns, but the problem with real guns is that you need a gun license in most countries around the world (and you will most likely be declined that license unless you can prove with pictures and video that some has tried to kill you more than at least ten times).
      Also, with real guns you might be a bit more hesitant to shoot because you are scared of needlessly taking a life or getting imprisoned for manslaughter.

    Thank you for all your great videos, as far as 6 years ago, I've watched almost all of them. Haven't seen you pisting tecently (Feb 2021), hope everything's well with you !
    Tiberius 8.1 is best pistol, and 9.1 if you want more options.
    FSC or Grimburg pistol with 8 gm CO2 other more compact options in 2021. I'd go for the T9.1 which can be used just as a 8.1 pistol using HP68 new rounds, and also extended as a carbine.

      From everything I've seen and researched,,,,, yes, same gun internally. Just a smaller frame and easier access to get inside the gun for maintenance/ upgrades. Barrel is shorter of course. But you can add a t8/t9 barrel. .

      Yes it absolutely can. We make a bunch of mods for the FSC to make it more suitable for home defence. You can also buy aftermarket barrels that are longer and as such will give you a velocity increase.

Argued with a guy from the mission company the other day that was pushing the mission tpr.... Which is also the same damn thing as the Tippmann tpx/salt gun

    • @schwarzer9
      @schwarzer9 4 года назад

      You have to adjust the screw that puncture the CO2 - so you get like max 12 shots before change to a new CO2, and a longer barrel like 14' or 16' (I use 14') and use riot balls. That should do it 👍☺️

  • @Gabriel23429
    @Gabriel23429 5 лет назад +1

    Hi Mak. Is there a chance to make a review about the FSC compact pistol from First Strike? It appears to be a "mini" T 8.1 in terms of length of barrel and magazine (is uses 8 g co2 and has only 6 rounds). If it is as powerful as the T 8.1 could be a better option for self defense since is more compact.

    Once you charge the co2 does it stay charged? In the event a person were to need it you don't have time to play with tightening a screw

    • @Chiinnature
      @Chiinnature  5 лет назад +2

      you can always charge the co2 and leave it charged for a days or two, it won't harm. But it is best to just give the screw 1/2 a turn to puncture the co2 when need to use the gun. Even with a real gun, some people have to rack slide to shoot and not often chambered 1 when carry. It is all about practice. IF you care, you should have practiced your draw and tighten screw movements a lot to remember how its done, and if you don't practice, then even a real 9mm can fail too, because you suck

      I’ve been watching reviews of the Tiberius. ( bought an early one several years ago) and the Tipmann.
      The Tipmann looks interesting because you can just leave the co2 cyclinder in the gun without the seal broken and pull the trigger to break the seal giving you a fully charged magazine immediately.

      NERØ.M M just purchased both the tipx and T8.1 and in my experience the tipx is by far the easier gun to use without any issues meaning the mag is easy to put in and take out. And with the first trigger pull makes it easier to get off a shot in an emergency situation without the bad guy recognizing you are getting ur weapon ready to fire. With the t8.1 the problem is if someone approached you with a gun so quickly there is no way you can be stealth like because you have to use two hands just to Pearce the co2 which means u have no chance in an emergency to piece it without it being noticeable. Also mag is hard to put into the gun sometimes if u dont practice alot. However with all that being said i still choose the t8.1 because i dont want to have to second guess the power. Simple as that.

      One thing that I find weird about the piercing mechanism, is why they are so unhandy. Why not make hitting the bottom of the mag with a bit of force pierce the CO2(when the mag is in the gun). Or cocking the gun will pierce the CO2. Just something more handy and quick than turning that knob on the mag. Is there something you can modify your mag with so that it gets faster and smarter to pierce the CO2. It is really not that smart to turn that knob on the 8.1 or 9.1 in a dangerous situation... if you get my question???

    Add 90 g co2 to hpa! Grimburg barrel with grimburg joules! TCR valve and titanium bolt and you will get between 40 to 50 joules! I own one!! Can't get TCR valves anymore so had to dremil mine!!! The trigger Peirce for Home defence is what takes it beyond the FSC after only doing these mods!!! Plus the mcs 18 body kit!!! For only £80 again don't cost has much has making nice fsc

    I think this is a great insider view. I am contemplating on the T8.1 and the T15, I know in your video you said the T4.1 has more power but I can't find one to buy anywhere? I like the quickness of the T15 loading ect...the nice 1:1 look is great as well. I also think just holding the T15 alone would be a good way to just make the intruder run and if that doesn't work then open fire!! Keep up the great videos!!!

    • @Chiinnature
      @Chiinnature  8 лет назад

      T8.1 is the way to go, T15 is not going to give you the power you want for sure, it takes MANY days to tune it to the 20-22 joules mark and guess what, it is not stable because Tiberius have been changing their T15 guts so much already, I dont even know how to guide you to tune it up, the max you can get out of a T15 now is about 14-15 joules with 3.9g balls, and the breaker balls don't load very well in the mag too, forget T15 for defense, it's no way going to work out for power. T8.1 is the way to go, or get a T9.1. The t4.1 - i think you can try ebay

    • @muzicmaxg9971
      @muzicmaxg9971 8 лет назад

      Hey what do you think about the Killhouse BT Omega for the Breaker Balls?I already have the gun. I just don't like the Hoper and would rather go with a Mag fed. So you don't think the T15 would be any good for self defense? I would think any gun would work? I mean you don't want to kill anyone in a reality situation and if shot in the head with the 8.1 with breaker balls I'm sure that would be a possibility.. So power I don't think really would matter? If someone was to break in and you pull out your paintball gun and let her rip with the hard Pvc nylon balls would surely drop them or make them run. Not only with getting shot but also the sound of the gun. They sound pretty scary when your not expecting it. I know it would scare the crap out of me for sure!What do you think?

    • @Chiinnature
      @Chiinnature  8 лет назад

      No the omega and T15 will not work, they cannot be tuned for high power. The T15 now max go to 15 or less joules only using rubber balls of 3.9g, and breaker balls you will go down to 12j or so only, at max. No luck with the mags too, they don't work well with breaker balls. The BT Omega is also a low power setup, it's not going to do more than 15joules. Power does matter. The T8.1 can drop anyone down the ground in 1 shot to the guts, and nylon balls or pvc or rubber cannot do it. You want people not to run, but to STOP and DROP. That is a real situation we are talking about here, not a paintball game, you don't want them to "run", because if they can run, it means they can also run-hide-and then take out their gun and shoot you back. We want the gun to be as powerful as possible, so you can END them in one to 8 shots, and they have to be down, and stop what htey are doing, then the problem is solved.

    Could you do a video on Tippmann TMC as a Less Lethal/Home Defense weapon? How much power does it give when adjusted to full power and when (and how) it's tweaked to the maximum power output possible. If you could get the TMC to say 20-25 joules, in my opinion the 20 round magazine would tilt the scale in it's favor compared to T8.1's only 8 (?) round mag. Some situations may require enough ammo to subdue several assailants. Possibly load the mag with 6 breaker balls last, then 7 pvc or hard rubber balls in between and on top, first to shoot, 7 pepper balls so you can increase the level of punishment you want to inflict and share it equally among multiple targets if needed by counting your shots. TMC costs about 200 euros so its about the same as a T8.1 cost-wise, but I'd rather buy a marker that I could also use as my primary weapon in a paintball game, when power is tuned back down to around 100 m/s with paintballs, naturally.

    • @cunnyfred9562
      @cunnyfred9562 8 лет назад

      Your Tippmann was shooting low, because it has a light weight hammer. You need to buy a heavy hammer and replace the stock hammer spring with a techt hammer spring (with about 8m of spring extension added to the rod)

    • @cunnyfred9562
      @cunnyfred9562 8 лет назад

      Be careful with this thing in the UK. The tippmann 98 is good, but you need to buy the PLATINUM BASIC, then ensure that it has the Tippmann Rear Bolt for NON-ACT guns (#TA02011)Next, you replace your drive spring with the TechT Zero kick hammer spring, but cut a length of 8mm from the old stock spring and add it to the drive spring pin guide before you add the techt spring, because the techt spring is shorter, but stiffer.

    • @Chiinnature

      not your air chamber but the O RING inside the bolt is fell or popped out to the air chamber now, you should be able to fix it easily by removing the air chamber and see if the oring is in there, there is a transparent o-ring that should fit into the bolt's head (inside) instead. check that o-ring out. This should be the problem for you mostly. If yes, use tons of silicone grease to grease the oring and put it back in place, it will work again

    well what is not really mentioned is that the TIPX you dont have to puncture the co2 cartridge.. it can lay there for years.. so if you do it right and use it right its a very very good home self defense.. if you want something to go to 30 joule then well its going under the weapons law and you need a license then you can just buy a real gun instead..

    • @Chiinnature
      @Chiinnature  8 лет назад

      i don't know the mr100 but for sure i will not use a hopper gun for home defense, and the best thing you can do is chrono your shots with the proper ammo and see what joules you get out of that shot. go online for ballistic calculator. Not forget that your gun don't have a sight, so if the gun is as powerful as it should be, "spraying" balls at home = not hitting the bad guy but destroy your own house instead. I will alway say, get a gun with sight, like the t8.1 and at least you can aim properly, place your 8 shots on where it should be and the "game is over" for the other guy, it's not a game that you are playing, no spraying is required.

    And what about the BT Dfender? Why you don't talk about this marker for self defense. Saludos from Colombia

    • @Chiinnature
      @Chiinnature  8 лет назад +2

      I have reviewed the BT Dfender already, it's not a good choice, the rotary thingy inside is not reliable, I have picked it up at random time and try to shoot it, and it fail to load and shoot right away, you have to shake the gun to get it working, and then the battery is another issue, you cannot rely on a battery gun for defense, it's too much to fail. Also, setting the gun to high power like mine (28-30j) takes a lot of time to tune, and you need to go over the pressure limit of the regulator which is unsafe for the internals for most people, and you void the waranty too. Not a good choice for defense for sure

    • @Chiinnature
      @Chiinnature  8 лет назад

      I have fired 21 grams steel balls, and they don't do better. 14 grams is also still too much weight for the gun. 21 grams will work, but it just doesn't do as well. The best optimal weight is really about 6 to 7 grams for these guns, more weight will result in drop in power and also decreasing the range a lot.

    Where can I get the T8.1?

  • @thefunnrunner
    @thefunnrunner 8 лет назад

    cool video but why not just use hpa with a shp reg?

    • @Chiinnature
      @Chiinnature  8 лет назад

      SHP means nothing, because it is not the higher pressure the better. I have tested my guns using pressure from 800psi up to 1600psi to see which pressure does the best for each guns, most of them fail to operate after 1.2k psi already. Sadly. Also, sometimes the higher pressure does WORSE because the gun cannot punch open the valve completely at that pressure. Another thing is, HPA for home defense isn't a bad idea if we are having a gun like the T4.1 or T9.1, but in comparison, the T8.1 on co2 is much better for a lot of people, because people don't have to get a tank filled / pumped, just buy co2 and shove it in and there you go. Cheaper to start with, and easy to use, isn't that a better option for all people instead? HPA - prepare to spend tons of $, buy pump/fill tanks, and then upkeep the tank etc.. too much work and $ for most people already

    • @thefunnrunner
      @thefunnrunner 8 лет назад

      Good point with the price point of hpa and if you only have a marker for the purpose of home defence i totally agree with you that the C02's are superior. But would not a stronger spring allow the markers to function normally with let's say 1500 psi?

    • @Chiinnature
      @Chiinnature  8 лет назад +1

      The problem is, the springs - where do you even find the proper springs that fits? Then secondly is - the o-rings and seals can stand it? Or the material they used for the valve can stand it? Not sure, and not dare to risk any explosions on my face. Also, as I have tested with the T4.1 overtun-ing it to 36 joules, yes it can fire very hot, 36 joules, and the problem then is - the sound. The bang was so crazy loud at 36 joules, basically I am scared of shooting the gun already, it's too loud and consuming air too fast. Another point is - the accuracy also dropped after over-tuning the gun because things don't function as it should anymore. The bolt needs to also go BACK by being pushed by the barrel spring, and if your pressure is too high, the spring in front cannot cooperate well and result in jams and other issues too. It's not just ONE spring that matters, but a few parts will also start to malfunction because of the lost of balance. If you are thinking of those "spring kits" on the market for higher velocity, then I can tell you that they are garbage rightaway. I have tried them myself, almost all of them, none works to achieve better results for those other markers. The markers that come with spring kits are made for PAINTBALL PLAYERS, why the hell do they want to give you a spring that fires too hot and hurt your friends? You cannot get any spring kits that is meant for "power" on the market, since there is no need for it. So... conclusion is, waste of time to buy springs and mod the gun, do your best with what we got, 30 joules is more than enough for the purpose be it co2 or hpa. and hpa is better for consistent power and shotcounts, but pricy and hard to introduce to people.

    • @thefunnrunner
      @thefunnrunner 8 лет назад

      Yhea alright. So you have been able to get the markers to the point where you aren't interested in making it spew out any more power, didn't realise that :P. Where i live there a company that will make you custom springs in pretty much any reasonable dimension for abute 10$. My interest is via paintball so i do not personally need any more power myself but there is always fun to se how much power you can get. What is the fps at 30 joules?

    • @Chiinnature
      @Chiinnature  8 лет назад

      Making springs is cool, but then it means we have to give the guy the spring in our marker so he can measure it and know how to make a stronger one? Not sure how that works but I am definitely bad at giving people numbers lol! As for FPS - FPS is just velocity man, depending on what projectiles (the weight of it) you are shooting, FPS go up and down. So for example, a paintball is 3 grams, to get 30 joules, that is 465 fps. If talking about breaker balls (6.2 grams each), then it is about 328 fps. Same gun, same settings, just different projectiles and the FPS varies. That is why we never like to tell people the power by using FPS, it's just super misleading and doesn't tell you the true power. Using joules or fpe make much more sense.

    co2 fps changes every shot its co2... its a liquid that turns into a gas so every time you shoot you wont get the same amount of gas.. with hpa you will get more consistent shots only differing from 5-10 feet per shot max thats why i would say get a 13oz ninja sl tank and a remote line but then you also need a pod pack to hold your tank

    • @Chiinnature
      @Chiinnature  8 лет назад

      I have all the hpa stuff including a compressor too (for my pcp guns) but no way i will want to use HPA and tank on remote hose for defense, it's just too clumsy and hard to deploy. I have my tank in stock setup on my t4.1s, bt dfender and t9.1 for that purpose. But the quickest is still the t8.1 onc o2, one twist and 9 rounds will dump on the guy's head, pretty speedy

      marbles don't work well because they are always undersized and they don't have much "seals" around them and so they pretty much give you very bad accuracy and very bad power. These breaker balls are with rubber coating, to size them to a good size that will fit the barrel nicely... that's how you can have the best power :)

      Um, I ran out of fun with airguns, went into airsoft to change my taste, then somehow airsoft cannot give me the fun I want or at least not enough, then I decided to try paintball guns. I never liked paintball guns before because my first experience is with a walmart crap-gun, the brass eagle.. hahaha.. but then I decided to try the T8.1 as my first SERIOUS paintball gun, and after that? I fell in love with it. LOL There goes the addiction begins... but very soon, I ran out of guns to try again, because there aren't many milsim guns in paintball market yet, and I already know what to avoid buying - milsig, scarab arms, rap4, maxtac - all garbage and bad service, no more biz goes to them! So we are left with Tippmann, BT< Tiberius only. Pretty much that's it!

Things like the BT Dfender is cool and I know the internals is about the same as their speedball gun, which means, 28-30 joules on rubberballs or breaker balls is possible, just that you need to really find the sweet spot to be able to tune it right, it's hard to tune!

      I don't know what and why people are all freaked out over paintball being too "gun like", you see the airsoft and airgun market has a lot of cool and gun-like guns too, why paintball needs to be viewed differently? It's just not making sense to me about those people who always think "the tool is the problem" and not the psycho that is the problem. We might as well just buy hello kitty firearms, just to "look" more innocent. Talking about that, we have once thought of painting the t8.1 into orange or pink for laugh, hahahaha or glow int he dark lol! The powerful shots with that kinda color will be pretty cool!

    • @Chiinnature
      @Chiinnature  8 лет назад +1

      LOL! Tippmann TIPX overpriced and rebranded? No thanks, the TIPX is already in my NO-GO list for self or home defense since the gun have only max of 15-16 joules on a good day with best settings and tune-up. To get more power, I have went for the TCR, which is better built than the TIPX even it's the same design internally, but somehow the seals or the valve is stronger, and I can kick it up to 28 joules. But again, SALT gun is just a TIPX by Tippmann, it's nothing fancy or powerful about it. Oh right, and I have ghost pepper balls here too, so what? They are never good for home defense, because the home owner suffer a lot more than the bad guy after the incident, and your air con, vent, and all the filters have to be replaced if you have allergy or sensitive nose. Sucks and worse idea ever for home owner. No thanks I prefer a man dropping 30 joules breaker ball over pepper rounds myself.

I am a hunter who uses both firearms and bows but if I do need to be discreet, a triple blade Montec broadhead out of my 70 pound draw hunting recurve will make sure that anything coming in through my door or window is not going to be alive for much longer. But they don't deliver enough pain to stop a determined threat. if I really wanted to get you, paintballs don't hurt too much. if you're going to go non lethal or less lethal, you can use rubber bullets in a hand gun that hurt a lot more than paintball. A Taser even would be a better home defense itself defense option

      You have not seen my videos yet, it is a 30 joules gun with hard 6.2 grams bones breaking glass ball with rubber coating, it can drop a man in one shot no matter how muscular you are dude. You have to open up yourself to new things and not just look at the title, watch a demo maybe.. ruclips.net/video/2scuB3B6HwQ/видео.html - the same gun is used in military and law enforcement and called a FN303P, no one look down on that model because it was marketed for the military, and LE, funny how shallow people are sometimes. We are shooting in 28-30 joules power, with a solid round that is 2x the weight of a paintball, while miltary is using a break-on-impact round for LESS lethal purpose at 25 joules... who can knock out a guy first?

      +Chiinnature I understand where you're coming from, I didn't mean to be disrespectful, I am currently in the process of entering the LE field so I am well aware of pepperball and other crowd control, pain compliance devices. I was unaware of actual glass paintballs being available. And just an FYI, I did watch parts of your video, not just look at the title and comment. It never struck me as an option for defense. But the way I am I don't want to use a pain compliance tool when someone attacking me is using a lethal weapon. Just my opinion

      +Chiinnature also, just wondering, do you only get 1 mag per co2 cartridge? To me it seems like a huge risk, if you're in an engagement and you only get 1 mag, due to how long it takes to change out a cartridge. Also over time, if you're storing the gun in your room for home defense, the gas will leak over time. my guns loose air pressure after sitting around with out being used. Could be a problem if you go for it and it's out of gas

      There are 9 rounds in a mag, and you have spare mags loaded for the job, takes 2 second to change and twist the co2 knob 1/4 a turn only, I don't see how hard it is to do that? Crowd control and home defense is different. As LE, you have some firearms (S) behind you and you have a team of people to do work. Home defense you only have yourself and you don't have a team of scary looking guys to back you up. The feeling on the guy being shot is totally different. Of course, people can say having a firearm is better- but what if you don't want to kill or your country has some stupid gun laws like we have in Canada which disable your firearm-home-defense ability? This is the next-to-lethal option already. With 9 rounds, it pretty much enough to end the guy's life if you need to, or end the situation. You can't do it in 9 rounds, you cannot do it in 18. It's reality man. Also, no one say you ONLY have a T8.1 for home defense, as we all know we need backups - such as a good light with a sharpened bezel, and a knife, machete, etc. It's stupid to just use ONE tool for defending your home, only morons do that and believe they will success. Even with a gun in hand, with 9mm, you need assisting device such as a light, a knife etc.. just in case!

      +Chiinnature I see where you're coming from, but... coming from someone who has done training before. In a life or death situation do you think only 9 or 18 rounds will do the job? An officer I know, had been on the further for 36 years. Every year when he does his firearm qualifications he can drive nails at 25 yards, keep a grouping of three inches at 50 feet. But one day he responded to a call and head to die his weapon at a subject. He fired his whole mag at the guy (18 rounds), the subject was between 10-15 feet from him. He missed every single shot

    Tiberius should market an 8.1 that is tuned like yours from the factory and hire you to be their self defense spokesperson!

      I think I am the only guy who show these things on youtube using a t8.1 to smash up stuff and do lab test.. hahaha! True, Tiberius own me some salary, lol!!! They did marketed a 8.1 for defense/less lethal purpose, called FN303P but only sold to military and police, and it's like 3x the price. $699 CAD as I have quoted with HERO army surplus, they say they can order it... wtf eh
