    Damn, this guy rocks..he's being real with no sugar coating, no rambling, and no BS. Can't get enough of these vids...

    Me and my friend were attacked by kids with co2 bb guns a few years a go. My friend suffered permanent blindness in his right eye and i had to get a bb surgically removed from my throat... People can make fun of bb guns but they can definitely do serious harm.

    • @Chiinnature
      @Chiinnature  10 лет назад +8

      GOOD JOB! You proved my right and totally knock those comments down (those who look down on bb guns). Yes, and that is a shot or two that you guys took only, imagine a mag of 19 or 18 emptied on you, i doubt it's gonna be fun. Your friend got permanent blindness man, that's really sad. Did you guys sue the kids or something later? But let me tell ya, and you might think this way too - Sue? Use money to sue, and might result in nothing that comes back, and also, it won't bring you the eyes back too. Sad, but that's reality. I feel the pain for you and your friend man. Thanks for watching my vid!

    • @dangerous1portal
      @dangerous1portal 10 лет назад +8

      The kids ran off and were never found, i don't think they understood the seriousness of what they were doing until they saw how injured we were. luckily my friend only got shot in one eye, so he is still able to read/write with his other eye.

    • @Chiinnature
      @Chiinnature  10 лет назад +4

      Kimbo Slice Damn that is a permanent damage man, blind in one eye can cause dizziness, lost of balance and even other shit to happen too. Hope your friend will be fine and not have to have too much suffering later on. I have heard from a friend that he also witnessed a guy shooting another guy in the face with a pellet gun, Walther CP99, and it punched the guy's eyes out forever too. One pellet, one eye is gone SCARY SHIT. Who say it's a toy? BB guns are not toys, you can't just handle it to a baby and let them goof around with it, lol! They must be treated with proper gun safety and such! That's also one point why I make this video too, just so people can know and not underestimate the power of these guns.

    ***** I have a vid up somewhere but I don't remember where it is now. The T8.1 required some tweakings, which is easy to do, and require about 1minute of work. After that, you need special ammo (breaker balls, 6.2g glass round with rubber coating) for the job. You can't use paintballs or reballs for the job, it's not going to work. With the T8.1 stock power, you will hurt someone badly but it won't kill them if you need to kill. With the tweaked T8.1, killing is already one of your option. You can put them down or you can put them to death, it's an "option" there for you.
    Why T8.1 work? Because stopping power. Blunt force trauma is what it is called. The power of the T8.1 (muzzle energy) is about 30-33 joules when tweaked. That is like over 10x more energy than a bb gun or Co2 pellet gun. Beside that, because of the breaker ball's weight and size, it will have a lot more momentum and stopping power, which is what "drops" your opponent. It won't "ouch" them anymore, it will make them drop to the round like they forgot their feet. I have a video with a guy using a 5-6 joules setting gun to fire a breaker ball at his friend, the guy dropped like chicken lost its feet instantly and popped down the ground without any ouch. It's insane. That is a 5-6 joules shot only, imagine we are talking about 30 joules....? See this vid: ruclips.net/video/KBhZJACn9Pw/видео.html
    If you want I can do some ballistic math here to show you more facts and numbers, but it's very obvious with the math done that the T8.1 can drop and kill, while the 4.5mm or even .22cal won't drop people down.

    ***** The J941 goes around 495 to almost 500 FPS on chrono test on a good day. The SW MP goes to 480ish FPS. The steyr is also at 480ish and you can say that is VERY compact, more compact than the MP pistol. XBG and TDP is bulky, and Colt Defender is very much useless with the internal built in mag so you have no way to reload it quick, and fps is around 420ish only. XBG and TDP is a nice cheap option for power at that price range, but not 'small' for sure. They are bulky and fat in hand, where the Steyr M9A1 is totally sleek and just fit your hand like a glove.

    If you use a gas operated pellet gun does it hurt the seals to leave a full or half full CO2 canaster in the gun overnight?

  • @Chiinnature
    @Chiinnature  10 лет назад +4

    +Varvara Bell - Nope because that gun have bad accuracy and grouping is very shitty, plus the gun is firing at the mid 300 range only, and not even over 400 fps. It's not good enough for sure. You have better choices, why pick a weaker one? You like Makarov? 360 fps with steel bbs is only 1.48 fpe, but a 420 fps is at 2.01 fpe. Big difference man. Takes 2 fpe to kill a duck, and 1.4 fpe is not enough, difference in power there

    ***** The drozd blackbird is a fun gun only, if you plan to use it for self defense, the deployment method is too slow, plus if you use Co2, it freezes up very fast, and if you use HPA, you need to setup the tank so they can be quickly deployed, which is a hassle on this gun, and then the gun needs battery to operate which is a bad option (because battery can fail or even flicking on a switch is already more work to do under stress). Also it's not compact at all. If you held one in hand yourself, you will know.. it's bulky. Not also forget that a blackbird with high FPS will not have much "stopping power" and so you will be chasing after you opponent and firing steel BBs into him while he kept on OUCH OUCH OUCH and bounce his way out like a bunny. You might end up having some steel bb implanted into his flesh, but it won't kill him or anything and there goes the evidence to sue you later on. Many break in case is the burglar will sue the home owner back because of whatever shit reason. You see someone break into your house, you want something that can drop him down for good. Not that you have to talk about firearms, but a T8.1 definitely will do the job right in terms of AIR WEAPON class. The drozd and blackbird are not my kinda options for sure. Way too much hassle for too little stopping power.

  • @VarvaraBell

    Hi I was wondering if in this what if situation amongst the guns you mentioned that would make the cut, non blow back, xbg tdp etc. Would the Umarex Makarov non blow back version be an option too? The gun is rated 380 fps, and in warm weather should shoot around 390fps and probably will shoot a little lower as co2 empties, or in cold weather, like 360 fps. I think it can penetrate a soup can. Would this gun make the cut?

  • @silentsyzzle8216
    @silentsyzzle8216 5 лет назад +3

    For 1. The blowback system just uses more co2 to get the blowback done, so it is using the same fps as non blowback guns.. co2 will just simply run out quicker, if you understand what I mean.. 2. I have a blow back and it is rated 430fps and it is proven with meter at 389fps on a humid day. Aside that good video.

  • @VarvaraBell

    Hi, just a new question. Under the circumstances of a last castle defense bb gun. So a gun that would never be used outside your home for self defense, only indoors in you most inner private space, at ranges maybe max 30 feet. Would the drozd blackbird be a good option? It seems it would to me, considering it's performance, tactical options and compact size. Out side the home it would be just a usual hobby and target shooting gun, but indoors at shorter ranges seems there is lots of potential, flash light, laser, optics, high fps, and a barrage of consistent fire.

    I wonder if it's legal to do this in your state, but I have an RCF CO2
    revolver and modified it. First I modified the hammer spring, giving it a
    harder kick. Then I modify the valve, giving it more powerful burst.
    And last, I bored the six shells (choose the all brass ones, not the
    ones with rubber ends) to fit .25 pellet, and replace the inner barrel
    with a .25 caliber rifled barrel. The result is a considerably powerful
    CO2 revolver (naturally it used up the CO2 much more quickly than
    before, but that's a small price to pay). Using a H&N Grizzly 31gr
    .25 pellet, I chronoed it at about 650fps. That's about 43 joule if I
    calculate correctly, and at 5-10 meter distance, that would definitely
    do a lot more harms than most standard air pistols.
    I suspect if I replaced the CO2 system with a small PCP tank (I did something like that with my Crosman 1077 and it worked, nearly doubling its original power), it would get even more powerful, even if not lethal.
    Still not an equal replacement for a firearm, I know, but it's still
    better than nothing.

      Varvara Bell the t8.1 produces much more damage on impact due to the mass of the breaker ball your getting around 20 foot pounds energy as to where with bb gun your only getting 6-7 foot pounds energy ive been shot multiple times by both as a testing experiment the bb gun hurts but the breaker balls will drop you on the first shot the breaker ball actually went into my stomach a little

    Some good points. Keeping a knife in the left hand in the left hand while shooting with the right can be used if the person still wants to try and attack you after being shot.

      +zanzakable I will not use the J941 because the mag is too heavy and badly balanced with the whole gun. The lighter weight ones are better in this situation.

  • @Chiinnature
    @Chiinnature  10 лет назад +1

    +Benedict Benito - no, the steel storm is not a pistol, it's an SMG. Also the gun only have 30 shots and then you are on SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE mode, which makes reloading much harder than dump and shove in a mag stick. That's why I don't pick that gun, and it's too clumsy too.

    • @Chiinnature
      @Chiinnature  10 лет назад +1

      Benedict Benito Welcome! The burst mode also result in less energy too, because a burst mode on the steel storm or steel force will only be around 250 fps with the steel BBs, and that is quite weak too. See the video with my 0.68 cal paintball for self defense? that one is also awesome to watch, and it's definitely something that stop people like a firearm! (when shot on the right spot). Firearm pistols of course can stop someone, if you dump them a mag!

      m surga savero Yours should be the Baikal Makarov, the real gun converted into 4.5mm steel BB shooter, or shooting lead balls. Not accurate for sure. My friend got one and only liked it for a day for realism, and after shooting a lot, he find that gun is very bad in accuracy, so sold it.... 500fps for a pistol? I don't think there is many guns that will match this in the BB gun category. You like a pistol that is POWERFUL only right? does it HAVE to be BB shooting?

      so? not over 500 though. The Jericho 941 can fire around 490 fps on my chronograph too, but you see, 490fps with steel BB is very weak too, if you are talking about self defense power... that's just like a 3-4 joules....

      Deardo Herlambang From what I know, Indonesia is also okay with paintball right? Did you look into the Tiberius T8.1 i have shown before? That pistol can generate a freaky and deadly power of 30 joules with breaker balls, cracking coconut and blasting through watermelons. Way better choice than an airgun though

    • @deardoherlambang108
      @deardoherlambang108 10 лет назад

      yes, but there is no store selling such marker here in indonesia. even other paintball marker is still pretty hart to get here. I've done my research for 1 month about whoever might sell paintball pistol here, and I got no luck. to buy them online from outside of indonesia is nearly impossible though, they prohibit any kind of gun/airgun/airsoftgun passing through customs by random citizen like me, I cant even order them online, that need somekind of special permission that then again nearly impossible to get. my only chance are bb guns or pellet guns. ps: idont even mind if its pistols or SMG kinda gun :)

      +Tyler Gage why do you have a bb gun in your hand or on your body at the first stage? and how can you predict the guy doesn't have any firearm on his body as well (could be concealed). He can come at you with a knife, but doesn't mean he don't have a gun in the pants with a IWB hoslter dude. You take a gun out, he freaks out and he point the real gun at you then you are fucked hard. If you don't fucking point a bb gun at him, you can fight with your hands and try your best to get away too. Why even risk the guy pulling a firearm out on you when your bb gun have no power to really drop him down if any shit happens?! That's just stupid to do. IF your gun have the power to drop a man, then it is another story. BB gun is NEVER a good idea

    • @Chiinnature
      @Chiinnature  9 лет назад

      +Tyler Gage I guess it would be better if you start using commas and full stop for your sentences. You type like a robot and I can barely understand what you are trying to say dude. Do you know that "penetration" is not equal to power? That is a very very very wrong concept you have about ballistics. Lead pellets do not penetrate as good as steel bb, but they can output more kinetic energy than steel bb because of the weight and how they deform on impact. Your "thick plates of metal" is funny lol, are you trying to shoot at soup cans and call that thick metal??? Steel bb is never powerful enough for most things. Yes they can penetrate soup cans, but they do not have much energy (in joules). Some ballistic math will be nice to open you up...

      @Chiinnature  10 лет назад

      So? Penetrate skin = enough to self-defense? I said in the other video already, that is NOT a good choice.(Unless you have NOTHING but that, then what can you do?) But seems like you have more options than picking a 4.5mm bb gun right? Seriously, why pick a bb gun when you can get your hands on something like the Tiberius T8.1 that shoots at 25 joules???? Or maybe a firearm (if not, then a T8.1 is the best best). Don't risk your life man. Penetrate the skin doesn't mean it will put the guy down.

  • @mpccenturion
    @mpccenturion 10 лет назад +1

    The idea, is valid. In my own mind, using an accurate bb gun and placing many hits into a small area would stop someone in their tracks. The shock factor of just getting hit, would start someone to realize that they are being attacked. This idea would cause someone to deflect the attack on you. Cheers

    • @Chiinnature
      @Chiinnature  10 лет назад +1

      Well yes, but also one thing to note is, in real life, you don't JUST use the BB gun. If you ever use the BB gun to empty a few mags into the guy and he is not dead yet, he must be somewhat in shock, or incapable of "fighting" because he is in pain and shock, then you can might as well boomerang the gun at him and then go up and beat the shit out of the guy, or apply knife fight up close, which by then, you might be already butchering the guy already.... of course all sorts of consequences of legal issues applies, but we are talking about WHAT IF situation, and what can save your life, not what makes you a legal corpse. LOL I think you get what I mean eh? Thanks for watching too!

    +chiinnature Hi, I'm about to buy one of these guns and I can not decide which. I like the M1A1 STEYR DT, by having metal slide and power (about 3.3 joules) is impressive. My other option is Umarex XBG with TAC converter kit that does not have much power but should be very funny besides being able to customize it. The point is that if I find a situation where I have to defend myself from a robbery which of the two I would be more useful? I have to pick just one.

    • @Chiinnature
      @Chiinnature  9 лет назад

      Carlos Martinez none. Self defense with a BB gun = you are dead for sure. In my country its very very difficult to get a fire weapon and the fucking laws are always on the side of the criminals. I have some weapons, a taser (illegal in my country), a rambo's knife and my fist. All that weapon means direct contact with the aggressor, i think i can shoot some bbs at the face or balls of the aggressor then i can run and put him a kick on the chest like "this is sparta" haha. Alfonso Javier Using 850psi output to power up a tube for pushing out a BUNCH of steel BBs won't give you a lot of power. I do not see that as a good idea, because it's like a canon more than a gun, and you only got one shot... so... what then if you miss?

    • @alponching002
      @alponching002 10 лет назад

      i made another version of it just now. 6-inch long pvc pipe with a 7-inch 6mm(diameter) aluminum pipe(barrel) sticking halfway inside the pvc pipe. currently i use a pump to test if it fires well. it works fine and hits hard enough(i let my brother test it on my back). so i was wondering how powerful could it be if i connect a HPA tank to it and set an output of 150-200 psi? in this case i assume i would use a 13 ci ninja tank so it fits well inside my backpack.

      Alfonso Javier Seriously, i don't see that is a good idea.. lol... but if you insist, then you can try of course. I don't know what "pump" you used to test, and if that is a bike pump, the psi is WAY low... and you might be not having a good seal too. Can the thing drop you down? If not, don't trust it for self defense.You seen our paintball for self defense video?That stuff with the breaker balls can drop a man down right away, no doubt, even with heavy clothing on. But if I didn't have that, I completely agree just emptying my crosman vigilante .177 (375-400 fps) would make anyone think twice. You're right on that!

      The Crosman Vigilante is a good gun, cheap and also shoots hard, with pellets. That's a pellet gun, which is what I will talk about in another video! You are right though, your .25 Cal Marauder can definitely put someone down the ground, and imagine 8 shots all on the guy, it's not fun at all eh.
      If only talk about airguns, I think my best choice is a PCP gun, not Co2, but that's not what I am talking about in the video though. My PCP guns are always topped up and filled, with spare mags and stuff all stored "properly" and filled up.
      Did you remember that Tiberius T8.1? That is a good choice too! Big bore!

But if you start hitting someone with it, they're going to turn around and run in the opposite direction. Nobody can stand getting hit over and over again!

    If that BB gun ripped threw the glass I’d actually be nervous about being hit with that

    Use the largest full metal BB gun you can find as it will also double up as a club .

      jakob poulsen LOL! That's a valid point, but also you can hold the Sig Sauer P226 on the muzzle and still can boomerang it to the guy's head like chuck norris! XD

    My friend, we have big veins in our arms and legs, if a firearm hits them, and you dont quickly get to hospital, you will for sure die very soon, the bleeding from a big vein is almost unstoppable, except for trained emergencypersonel and alike

    i really like your videos your a funny guy you just tell things like it is cause what if you dont have a real firearm there way to expensive and hard to get so i carry a bb gun with me that looks like a glock 19 matter a fact you should do a review on the new 40 x p by umarex its a good gun

      +Tyler Gage you totally got my point wrong. You have to listen to what I am saying, because what you said already show that you 100% got my point wrong. I have MANY airguns and they can be even be more expensive than a firearm. It is not about the money dude. Also, a BB gun or a pellet is NEVER a good choice for this purpose. I have said it in the video already, NEVER use this shit for this purpose. It is NOT going to work. DO NOT carry around a bb gun and expect that to work. That was the point of this video man

      +Chiinnature but in the long run i kinda see where you coming from now cause people use drugs cause people with real guns get shot and hit with a bullet and they still try to fightvi guess you just have to pray that you dont come incounter with someone with a real gun sorry for bothering you have a nice day

      +Tyler Gage It is about shot placements, and even with bullets, if you get shot in the big muscles area and you are on drugs, you can still fight and struggle too. But for most people who are shot by a real gun, the fear and panic will already be super overwhelming. Not many can even move when they are in shock. I have faced many physical threats myself in the past, and I have dealt with it. I do know how it feels facing a person with a firearm in hand, so I know what I am talking about here. IT's not like you are always prepare and armed 24/7, but if you have your hands, and you know martial arts, there is no way you will just give up and surrender. Fight for your life is always my best advice. Be prepared at all time, but don't prepare in a stupid way. Just that the fact is, putting a bb gun in a "prepare" list is just insane stupid - while you have a much better choice around air weapons.
