Very nice wheels 👌 Super light setup for 17", my 15" skinnies weigh in at 27 lbs for wheel and tire compared to the 47.5 lbs each for the 16" wheel and tire setup I had been running. Just eliminated 41 lbs of unsprung weight off the nose of the car. Who knows what,if any, difference that would make 🤷♂️

The lightweight wheels will make a nice difference. I spent a lot of time researching and got my street wheel setup down to 39lbs front with a 245/45r17 street tire mounted on 17x9’s and 49lbs for the rears with 275/40r17 ET Street SS’s (heavy). Made a big difference on handling, braking and acceleration.

@@Neomustangs the nice thing is the multiplier due to being a rotational weight. A 3x multiplier on whatever you removed in wheel weight is generally equivalent to the dead weight so it will feel and perform like you just pulled 120lbs of dead weight out of the car. Hopefully enough for a tenth or more at your power level. One of the best mods I made to my car, enjoy it!

The lighter weight wheels & tires will make a big difference on turning mass engineering, which it makes for
better acceleration, braking, handling which in turn will be better ET's & MPH.

Hey do you remember the backspace on your rc comps? I’m running racestars on my car and would really like to get a lighter set of wheels. They fit absolutely perfect but they definitely have some xtra weight on them and I’m just getting tired of them. The racestars are 1.75bs and clear my brakes.

393 385 stroke crank, 351 windsor rods, .030 over 302 SRP Pistons with 2 valve reliefs, Lanati Hyd Roller Cam 300/310 duration 570/576 lift 110LSA Power range: 22-6200, 351C 4v closed chambered cast iron heads, 1.73 roller rockers, Not sure on intake yet. MSD distributor. MSD 6al Box, Got 2 carbs Modified 850 dp Holley or 1050 Dominator which might be to big for this combo. 1 3/4 or 1 7/8 Hooker Headers. 9mm plug wires. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanks.

The bad thing about running skinny’s in the front on a daily tires don’t last and they are hard to find

The weight is accurate. Even with the tire mounted and balanced.
Sorry, I'm not doubting the accuracy. I meant individually as what the rim weighs alone. I've been shopping around and no one specifies weight except for jegs but they only list shipping weight. It's pretty ridiculous that in a sport where weight matters a lot, companies advertise products as lightweight and don't specify the exact weight.
