Do you use a special foil, or is the Kingsley just better? I can't get foil to emboss properly on grainy goatskin with inexpensive Chinese-made hot press. I haven't taken the plunge for an expensive press yet.

Type of foil matters much. Also it's very helpful to make multiple shots. First one could be without foil just to smoothen grains a little bit.
