Jack had an immense impact upon PlayStation, working with the brand since the beginning, and it is sad to know that he isn't the CEO and President of SCEA anymore.

This guy is so laid back, respectful of the gaming community, and cuts the garbage out and gets to the point. Mr. Tretton definitely has my respect.
This is my favorite interview from E3. Good questions and solid answers. Neither side tried to insult anyone's intelligence while still being fair and direct, I like it I want some more of it.
Exactly, PS3 had a rough start and they turned it around tremendously over time.
I grew up with a PSone & PS2, and migrated to Xbox 360 because I liked the look of Mass Effect. Now that EA publishes that series it's pretty much guaranteed to be multi-platform and I have no need to own an Xbox One.
PS4, I'm coming home.

I like the way Jack Tretton conducts himself in interviews. Crisp, concise, and not cocky. Of course, at the end of the day, he's a businessman with a job to do, but from what I've seen of the man, I like.

A year later, I never realized how rude the interviewer was. Making statements that inadvertently denote negative remarks about Sony is inappropriate and inane in an interview with the President at the time of a company more important than this guy's life. Jack presented himself and his company like a champ, man this guy was great.

I like jack because all the answers he gives are rock solid answers and he's a very good speaker, he doesn't beat around the bush and evade some of the concerns of the consumers

I can't stress enough about how well spoken Jack tretton is, awesome guy.
Ps4 has the PlayStation Eye 2, my TV plays hundreds of channels, PS4 will have a cloud system (even though it is a GIMMICK), and the PS4 also has apps that will undoubtedly be fast.
You are right about the gaming part though. However the Xbox One can't do anything a combination of a TV, Smart Phone and a PS4 can't already do. Most people already have the first 2 so they don't really need a console that does that too.

I may be getting the next Xbox (not immediately of course), but Jack Tretton is one of the most professional speakers I have ever seen talk about a product. He goes out of his way to avoid arrogance. I give props to Sony.
I'm not done with the video yet, but I am impressed by Jack's understanding of rental and used games.

I absolutely agree, it spoiled the experience for me at certain parts as I'd finish watching a 20 minute cutscene, anticipating gameplay, to be approached with another cutscene. It was a phenomenal game though.
