Dr Berg, I want you to know that Hospital doctors here in Arkansas are telling patients to watch your videos. People need to know this!!! You are saving lives!!!
Is anyone else seriously grateful not just for everything this doctor shares with all of us but for the fact that he does so without constantly bombarding us with some sort of sales pitch to buy some self-serving self-promoting “secret” formula and/or product with his name and picture splashed across the label of whatever “snake oil” everyone else is pushing? I for one am extremely grateful for everything he shares/teaches/warns with/for/us of with such professional non-inflammatory calm.
Totally agree. I saw 3 videos on weak kidney, none of them share thoughts on remedies. Only Dr Berg shares - also its short & sweet, to the point. Love and most grateful. 🙏
THANK YOU. MY KIDNEY DOCTOR HAS NEVER SAID ONE SINGLE WORD ABOUT DIET. HE ONLY MENTIONS WHEN SOMETHING IS TOO HIGH.I'VE HAD TO DO MUCH RESEARCH BUT YOU HAVE MADE IT MUCH EASIER! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
It's bad when you go to the doctors with the mindset of having to manage the job they're ment to be doing! I have met ONE doctor who seems to go against this rule and she is the only Doctor who does not seem like an arrogant bitch! Probably in the wrong profession, as she is the only one with any form of bedside manner worth mentioning. The others are clock watching before you even sit down in their office!
Dr Berg saved my life. I was pre diabetic. I lost 90 pounds thanks to Dr. Berg's advice! I'm on zero medication, and I am living life again! Thank you isn't enough!
Amazing. Good job. Would you like to share your Keto/ IF success story on my website? I'd be happy to see your story there. Feel free to upload your story here: www.drberg.com/add-client-success-story
This is wonderful congratulations! Do you mind me asking if you were on any medication when starting keto? Any tips you can share that are specific to doing keto while pre diabetic? Tia
God bless you sir. My mom finished chemotherapy and radiation this year for breast cancer and we are desperately worried about kidney damage. I will look into all you have said. Anyone reading this, please pray for healing- not only for my mom, but the countless people all over the world who are battling disease.
My prayers for you and your mom, I just lost my sister to the treatments, very carefully be aware of your doctor they’re loyal to their protocol and not the patient. I’m so glad your mom survived, keep doing the research. My prayers to all who are sick.
Yes my sweet granddaughter 6 1/2 had a one and done (800) radiation treatment and now after 3 1/2 mos her feet are swelling and her legs ache.. she is also constipated without soursop
Dr. Eric berg because of you I stopped drinking 4 months straight IF as well and lost 36 pounds already THANK YOU LOVING THIS SOBER LIFE AS WELL WITH FASTING AND EXERCISE
Congrats! I did too and while I was never an alcoholic, I LOVED drinking bigtime and found I mentally missed it and the social end of it. We've both started drinking flavored perrier in social settings now.
And quick to misdiagnose! I've lost count how many times I've seen a different doctor in the room next door and been misdiagnosed with something completely unrelated to what the first Doctor said. All without having any proper tests done, just guesswork. If it's not a cold then I wouldn't trust them!
I had acute renal failure. After 8 months on dialysis, my kidney function returned I was taken off dialysis. It's been 8 years now and my kidney function is still stable
Thank God! The same thing happened to me it took 3 days on dialysis to help my kidneys start back functioning normally well they say my levels are a bit off but and I have painful swelling from time to time but so grateful to still be here as I am sure you are
I'm preparing to become a Nurse Practitioner and I want to make sure I'm well versed in finding the origin of disease. I want to educate and advocate for my future patients. I commend your insightful, intelligent approach to health education. I'm praying I encounter medical professionals such as yourself. Thank you!
I have kidney failure since 24 I’m 34 now but I have nephrotic syndrome it’s been so hard living a normal life I usually have to stop but I love this video and will keep watching u for more information
I've had swelling in my lower legs and my feet for 2 plus years. I've seen 3 different doctors for other things but I did mention my swelling to all of them. They all acted like they didn't even care. None of them even had suggestions when I would ask them. Thank you Dr Berg, I now know why I've been completely exhausted for the last 3 years!!!
@@brigitteverstraete4327 I agree. I live in Oklahoma and most doctors here actually think they know your body better than you do. Plus they all seem to have a God complex🤦♀️
Part of the fun of a kidney stone is going to the emergency room and waiting 5 hours in excruciating pain including writhing on the floor and having the personnel get angry at you for doing that while they see people with colds before you get help. I'd like to thank the American hospitals everywhere who do that. Kudos. Great job.
They got mad at me too!!! I hollered and whooped!!! They are mean and hateful as all get out here!!!LOL!!! No compassion .I told them to get me some more pain medication and I didn't care if I died. OMG!!! I walked out afterward thanking God.
So one day I went to an ENT. They told me my potassium was extremely low but I didn’t know why. I have bags under my eyes and this helped me to tie it together. My grandma suffers from diabetes and this information means so much to me. I have literally had a lifelong battle with sugar. This man is really blessed and he’s blessing others.
I developed potassium wasting through the kidneys.. too much relating to my health to list here but essentially I had come off crap food to lots of fresh fruits & veggies then got sick from mold then believed the lies that green smoothies & raw veg juices would heal me.. I did that several years then that plus another tick bite crashed my health.. Now I’m learning that I have oxalate poisoning which can cause severe b1 deficiency which can lead to rhabdomyolysis which nearly killed me several times. Oxalates bind easily to potassium. Oxalates are insidious and are bot really known about except in case of kidney stones but most people don’t get those. Watch talks with Sally Norton as well as Elliot Overton regarding the oxalate issue and Elliot Overton regarding b1 thiamine deficiency. So much is becoming clear to me now and it’s overwhelming but empowering. Good luck
Thank God my kidneys are now stage 2, I watched a lot of Dr Bergs videos and with the grace of God I went from stage 3 to stage 2 which is virtually healthy. God bless guys 🇯🇲❤️🇯🇲❤️
Me too, I have stage 3 kidney disease and my doctor acts like nothing is wrong with me and has given me no helpful info. I get all my info from the internet. So many worthless doctors these days.
Dr. Berg is correct. My mom passed away with kidney disease and it was devastating to see her in that state. Everyone please take care of your kidneys.
My stepdad passed of kidney failure and my mom isn’t going to be too far behind him with the same thing. I’ve also taken care of many patients with kidney failure. I don’t think people understand the magnitude of how miserable a life with kidney failure is. Thank you for posting this. I don’t feel like there is enough attention to this issue.
I found the most helpful and all natural tips for reversing kidney failure from Marie Stephens on her RUclips channel "A Place To Heal". She reversed almost complete failure with big changes in diet and with natural remedies. Please check her out! Look at her early videos and notice in recent videos that she looks and feels like a new person! She is down to earth and totally credible. p.s. Check out video on Alpiste Seed (canary seed) and find the most wonderful total gut clean out and renewal with these miracle seeds!!
I have pain right both sides kidney n very ill systematic illness for 7 months , nothing shows on blood work or CT scans, could it be my kidneys cause I have done far amount of partying in the past.whats the best full proof kidney test?
She must watch out for oxalates. Oxalates are EXTREMELY toxic fo our kidneys. It's dangerous to our gut, cells and so much more. People have literally died from consuming spinach smoothies because they contain so much oxalic acid.
There is a reason that more and more people are having issues with ckd. Its because of what's being pushed to us as healthy foods. A lot have a oxalate amount that causes damage to our body but especially our kidneys. Then we take so many things that cause leaky gut issues where more of the oxalate is absorbed. Things like NSAIDs, various drugs, WHEAT, gluten and other things.
My mom was in renal failure for many years and I can attest all of these are spot on. Trying to take control of my health now so to avoid any of these issues in the future. Renal failure is awful. God bless everyone dealing with it and those who care for them! 🙏
If you want to live your best life you have to study about all your organs and understand the entire gut brain and the way the engine room works in your own unique environment and body core self. D & A and all! I’ve lost almost 50 kgs and reversed a lot of sicknesses within 18 months. I’ll continue to keep keto intermittently fasting and OMAD for the rest of my days. Thank you 🙏 Dr. Eric Berg
I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I was told that my kidneys are full of cysts, one is barely functioning and the other only half functioning. I have no edema in my legs. Since I started following your videos my skin has gone from yellow to slowly it is turning normal. I seem to be improving with your help. This is frustrating. I found coconut milk is helping me alot too. I am not use to taking alot of medication and hate pain killer and turned down chemo. I wish I could pick your brain because my body seems to be trying to fight back. For the sake of us all don't stop doing what you are doing. Whether I win this battle or not, I feel empowered by your help. Thank you. How can I be improving?
He has a number to call with questions that is free. Plus over 2,000 videos. If searching for a certain question with his name is the RUclips search doesn't work, maybe try giving his number a call. God bless you 😊
My mom died the end of Jan this year due to Kidney Failure. Too many prescriptions for pain... They gave her steroids for some of those symptoms listed...it destroyed her. And it happened so fast She was 65. I love you Mami. ❤️ Please take care of yourselves. Hug your loved ones.
I see this is 2 years old...but I'm hoping someone else reads this. First off, so sorry for your loss. What I want to share is that my brother is also on pain pills (for well over a year now) and takes them regularly. He also has diabetes with blood pressure controlled with statins. He also suffers once or twice a year from kidney stones. He eats and drinks SUGAR, but takes his diabetes, blood pressure meds and pain pills "religiously". I've tried talking to him about this but all he does is shrug. He's only 50 years old. Drugs (even prescribed meds) and sugar k*ll. Slowly, but surely.
I'm a 50 year diabetic male 57 years old.. Still have great kidney function. Kudos to my Dr. for helping me with keeping my blood pressure low. I'm on a very low carb diet and use the 450/500 calculation to figure out my carb per unit of insulin. My ratio is 13grams of carb per unit of insulin. My A1c is always under 6,I exercise regularly and am a big fan of celery.
You can! You’re on the right track. Follow Dr. Berg. He really loves to give the best medical advice. Celery, parsley juice . Organic. Big X -no Sugar. Maybe a tad bit of Manuka Honey. I use piece of ginger to take away the green taste of the celery and parsley. Here’s to healing and God blessings too. Try the Company Standard Process Rena Good for Kidneys.
Yea my friend is also suffering from diabetes and just had kidney transplant but the new kidney is not working....i feel helpless and not sure how to help her. I feel that she's on the last stage 😢
Thank you for this information. A dear friend just passed away after being on dialysis for 2 years. I am terrified of this happening. I’m getting my health straight. I pray for Gods kingdom to come on earth as it is in heaven- when -Isaiah 33:24 And no resident will say: “I am sick.” The people dwelling in the land will be pardoned for their error.
Yes Daniel 2:44 is the answer to all the problems on the earth. Its all in the bible about better times ahead on the earth. Then things will be very good👍😊
THANK YOU SO MUCH. NO ONE has ever explained my edema like this. All the dr. Can say is “it’s a number of thing”. It runs in my family. I grew up looking at my aunt with and then I got it and thought it was normal. Thank you DOC because NOW I’m going to stop this and take better care of my kidneys. Thank you for the video
Thank you Dr Berg. I’m a diabetic who had out of control T2diabetes. I got a CGM and it changed my life. I also have CKD stage 3a. My last check up my A1C was 5.5. My EFGR is 59 and stable. Creatinine is 1.37. My numbers finally are looking much better. I owe this to many of the videos you’ve made on RUclips. Thank you.
@@Drberg do you have an email address where I can send you my gfr markers as my kidneys are out. I'm only 37 and the doctors here in the UK have given me no advice what so ever
Kudos, to your editor, Dr. Berg. Out of all the "Keto Doctors" on this platform, you have the best visuals to illustrate your talking points, making the subject easier for the layman to understand.
Thanks so much for these videos, especially this one. I have been addicted to sugar for most of my life, and not just physically but mentally as a substitute for comfort because I wasn't held by my mother. I am now 74 and I did pretty well for a few months ago with an A1C down to 6.6, but now I have fallen back into stuff I shouldn't eat. But this video really shows how bad sugar is, so once again, I will try to do better. Thanks again for your help!
Awee! Me too I'm an addict for sugar that's my love too! I'm 34 your not alone. Jesus Christ died for us and all our sins . He that is in us is stronger than he is that is in the world

I’ve had a sweet tooth all my life because I missed out on childhood nurturing too. Sometimes going on huge candy binges. But we can heal. As I work on my childhood trauma & my mindset improves, I’m feeling my sugar cravings reduce. (Some really amazing keto chocolate truffles by Truffettes de France don’t hurt, either!) The definition of a good doctor is this man. I value the people that are true teachers and ones that I can learn from. I have learned so much from this channel. It really speaks to his character and that of his team that they want to just freely give us this important information.
I had almost all those signs....I was able to fight it on my own...due to the fact I was not allowed to see a doctor because I had no insurance.....every hospital and doctor I saw...was not allowed to help me cause I had no medical insurance.....but I fought it for 3 months in pain....and praying....I started eating garlic...and drinking a tee from a little plant called La Tronadora....3 times a day.....thank God....I still take it 2 times a week...and was able to fight it this past 14 years. I prayed a lot to God to find something to help me...he always answers me....He is my doctor....I Trust in Him.
Dr. Berg, your video caused a huge spike in orders for the sea salt you mentioned in this video! They were literally running out, and called me to tell me they were out of the large grain salt, and it would be 2 weeks to restock! I opted for the fine grain. Thank you for your great videos!!!
My mother has type 2 diabetes, swelling on her feet. Your video has cover many symptoms my mother is having. She regularly sees her doctor, who has never said anything about kidney damage. Thanks to your information I help my mother approach her health problems in a different way. Happy Thanksgiving and my mother won't have mashed potatoes or dessert.
Dr Berg, you are a gorgeous doctor! I have been visiting doctors and exams for 13 years now and could not recognise, what you say very clearly. I could recognise all the symptons you describe. Long life to you!
I wish I'd found your channel long before I reached 53yrs of type1 diabetes and now having CKD, and much of what you've said I haven't heard from anyone else, even from those who are treating me. So thank you very much for all this information.

As a 20 plus year diabetic male over 60, this scares me into staying on my Keto and OMAD schedule. Hope it's not too late. God bless you Dr Berg, Happy Thanksgiving!
Its NOT to late!! I'm 59 female. Had multiple autoimmune illnesses, diabetes, NAFL & literally a foot in the grave. Started in 2016. Took over 3 yrs just to get control of massive inflammation. I smelled like ammonia. It was a horrible time to pass through but did everything I learned from Dr berg and slept a lot. You can do it!! Just one day at a time.
When I had kidney stones the urologist told me stay away from green leafy vegetables. I didn't believe that. I never knew lack of vitamin d could have contributed to my kidney stones. Very informative. I'm a new subscriber and I am so happy to have found your channel. Thank you!!
My Dad's feet looked like that he went on peritoneal dialysis. He was diabetic and nobody was recommending low carb and IF back then. That kind of dialysis didn't work well so he went to get a shunt put in for hemodialysis and the doctor made an error and poked a hole somehow in his heart or the sac or something and he died in 1998. Our Doctors have not been trained properly about nutrition much or else since the greedy elite run the medical schools and big pharma ( IMO). Thank God for people like Dr. Berg.
OH I'm so sorry that happen to your Dad and I feel for you, my dad died from kidney failure, I which I knew back then in 2017 what I know now from Dr. Berg ,my Dad was 97 and strong and healthy, living on his own, up till his last year , he may have made it to 100 with Dr. Bergs help .Now we just have to keep passing on to our love one , the knowledge we get from Dr. Berg to get healthy and stay that way.
Peritoneal didn’t work well for him…do you know why? My dad was on that and it helped him. I’m curious to share knowledge about it please? I may be facing the same future so I’d like to know your story please, if you don’t mind?
Thankyou for these videos, I lost one of my kidneys when I was 17 and I'm now 53, just developed an aching in my back where my remaining kidney is and also I've been feeling exhausted... I'm going to try my best to follow your advice and see if it makes a difference. I wish I'd found you years ago, my diet has been so bad and it has to change... Thankyou again. I hope to be back one day to post the results of how it goes 👍🙏❤
I listen to Dr. Berg for so many reasons… He looks like he is practicing what he preaches. You look healthy and great Dr. Berg!!! Thank you for your insights!
I'm getting ready to possibly start dialysis when the time comes, I'm at stage 5 kidney failure. I feel doctors don't inform patients well about this issue for patients to take care of themselves. Telling us there's protein in the urine etc and not telling us why or how to avoid it doesn't help. Educating patients about their condition to me is the key. I've been managing my kidney issues with not much information from my doctors, my Dr. never really asked me the correct questions for me to know my kidneys were getting worse. until now that they're preparing me for dialysis I'm finally getting all the information I should've gotten when I started having issues. I learned a lot more watching this video today than all these past few year with my doctors 😞it feels like they really don't care. Thank you for all the information you're sharing.
I encourage you to Still try these suggestions. Standard Process Rena Food kidneys. Celery Parsley juice -organically grown, Look up Dr. Barbara O’Neil. She’s excellent also. Keep fighting for your health and life.?

thanks Dr. Berg, very good information , kidney is one of the most important part of our body. aporeciate very much.waiting for some more videos bless you.
The worst thing that happened to my kidneys was in 2012 when I had septic shock. My urine was the color of Pepsi for over 24 hours but thankfully they responded to fluids or I was going to be air lifted for dialysis. My creatinine was over 5 when I got to the ER. In 2015, I had sepsis and learned that the med Simvastatin had caused me to develop Rhabdomyolysis which was sending muscle enzymes to my kidneys which I was told would plug my kidneys, damaging them. Thankfully I had a doctor who recognized what was going on because those 2 illnesses make doctors fearful of running any kind of dye through my veins. Thanks for the informative video!!
We watch a lot of your videos and they have all been very informative. My husband and I have been on the keto diet for several months now and I seen the results not only in weight loss but also in the way we feel, and the inflammation has disappeared from our bodies. My husband and I are celebrating Thanksgiving this year in a whole different manner. We never realized how much grain and sugar there was within a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. This particular video is a wake-up call to anyone who is not aware of how they're poisoning their bodies without realizing it. Hopefully there will be people that will see this and realize that they need to make a big change in their diet. Thank you for your videos and helpful information.
My mum has & had all these symptoms apart from kidney stones, not once has it been suggested it could be kidney toxicity, instead they want to keep plying her with prescribed poisons & has a vascular ultrasound booked to investigate her legs due to swelling & the colour her feet go!! I'm going to be checking her latest bloods as I know there was a mention of the levels in her kidneys. Will be back with a follow up.
Swelling in the hands, legs and feet. Muscle weakness, restless legs, breathlessness, chest pain, frequency and urgency of urination… etc. There’s a lot more symptoms then what he said. Sad part is many doctors ignore your symptoms. It was only until I had 3x the amount of vitamin C, citric acid, and high doses of Azo (that I took back in December for UTI) and there was a bunch of other things that were really high and I had severe dehydration in my urine tests. They say to have a low sodium, potassium, protein diet and eat high carb when you have kidney damage. Yes, diabetes can cause kidney disease but so can lupus nephritis and NSAIDS.
How is everything over there ? I was checking the directory and I unearthed your profile, and though you seemed worth talking to, so i added you. Hope you don't mind?
Dr Berg, I started Keto with you and found I had a few of these symptoms, the edema, low Vitamin D, high blood pressure. I'm not diabetic. I got kidney stones and then I found out I had 2 parathyroid tumors which were leaching calcium from my bones and caused me to have osteoporosis. I flew across the country to Tampa Florida to have surgery to remove them. (they are the only ones who do it correctly) Now I am back on Keto, listening to your videos! Thank you for all your videos!
@@margaretlu8663 I feel very good. I ended up having 2 tumors and if I had gone anywhere else, they would not have found the second one and I would still be sick. How are you feeling?

My dad died of stage 4 kidney failure 5 years ago. He was on many medications, poor diet. I believe that played a huge factor in his premature death. If he did the Keto diet and and slowly came off all the medications, I believe he would be here today.
High proteins are bad for kidney problems though .. I have kidney problems but normally not serious but anytime I eat too much proteins I end up getting the real bad edima where my ankles swell up and look like footballs . My fingers get fat and I can't take my rings off ... I get puffy under my eyes and I feel slightly drunk from the fluids in my body and I just don't feel well very tired . Too many proteins in too much salt will do this if the kidneys are sensitive or damaged/ diseased .
You mentioned metallic taste, I suffer from that quite a bit. My doctor was of no help other than to say it might be linked to my gut and put me on antacids which I refuse to take. After investigating they found I only had one kidney, they couldn't find the second one. They told me that was normal enough, that the other one is okay. I am concerned now it might not be even though I don't have any of those symptoms and irs impossble to see a doctor these days since Covid arrived. Thanks for these videos. They are so helpful.
I used to wake up every morning with a metallic taste in my mouth and a queasy stomach. Went on for years. It stopped within a week of moving out of the apartment I lived in...the apartment (and the whole apartment complex, actually) had a known black mold problem.
@@lindseya8898 No, but a lack of essential nutrients over a long period of time can lead to all kinds of wacky things happening inside you. The body is pragmatic and will compensate accordingly.
My oncologist did not know that the meds he had me on were damaging my kidneys. He kept checking out my swollen feet with pitting edema and after several months he referred me to a cardiologist who said my heart was normal. Neither doctor suggested anything else. When the oncologist changed my schedule for Rituxin to once every two months from once a month I noticed the swelling subsided at the six week mark and then resumed after infusion. I told the doctor about this and he thought about it a moment and then decided to take me off Rituxin. You would think an oncologist would be aware of the side effects of the meds he prescribes. I also had elevated blood pressure. Thank you Dr. Berg.
You’d be shocked at how little docs know about medications and their side effects and interactions with other drugs. That’s literally not their job. A pharmacist would know 1000X better. Docs just push the drugs, pharmacists actually KNOW them.
My Grandfather, who had Type 2 Diabetes, died young at 67 from renal failure when I was 15. Even though he took his insulin and checked his sugar, he still died very suddenly on top of a ladder while painting. It was like turning off a light switch. He didn’t eat right and still ate whatever he wanted.
I'll be honest here; For some reason I feel healthy and energetic by listening to Dr.Berg. I am very happy to know my kidneys are in good health. Thanks Doc.
Thank you Dr. Berg. As someone who lost his father to kidney disease 11 years ago, induced by diabetes, I really appreciate this deep dive. You don't have to be an epidemiologist to figure that diabetes instigated nephropathy is becoming more and more pervasive. When my dad's kidney's started to fail to where he had to be put on dialysis, in the mid 90s, you had to search for a dialysis place, and home dialysis was unheard of. Now, I am within walking distance of several dialysis centers around my area and at home dialysis services are advertised on TV. This trend does not bode well for our society. I am grateful for professionals like you who are bringing awareness to this issue.
@@Suzanna-wh3nr I wasn't aware. Thanks for the information. I certainly don't remember home dialysis being advertised on TV that much back then, and that probably had to do with the fact that the service wasn't that much in demand as it is now.
@@youtubeuser7798 Poor diet. He was heavily into sweet and starchy foods. Being Indian, our diet is replete with high carb food. When he was diagnosed with diabetes back in the late 70s early 80s, doctors were not prescribing a low carb diet. Hence, he would continue to consume the same high carb diet, minus the sugary stuff, and take medication. Ultimately, it led to much suffering, kidney failure, a kidney transplant, and then 8 years after the transplant, the failure of that transplanted kidney.
Best advice I could ever give is this....Check the side effects on ALL your meds! Most cause kidney issues, but some are worse! I was on Topamax for years and years, and now have kidney failure. My Dr's deny the med causing it, but I KNOW it did! I went off alot of my meds on my own, and cut many doses in half. I told my Dr I did it. He wasn't happy, but I told him my kidneys were MORE important. You have to weigh out what is important to you and your health, and your future! My kidneys are working at 60% right now. They dropped from 70% and went down another 10 in 6 months. Be aware of your body. Be aware of what is going on. I have back trouble, sciatica...So my kidney pain was thought to be my back for a year b4 I went and had it checked. I would say....IF YOU HAVE PAIN, ALWAYS HAVE IT CHECKED OUT!!! Another piece of advice....Make sure you have a dr that cares for people, not dollar bills. Good luck everyone. 🙂💗
I have been taken pain killers for a all time due to arthritis. Is there is any chance i can continue my meds without it affect my kindey like the video says drinking celery juice etc.
@@irfanmohd091 I'm not here to tell you what to do or not to do....But I have seen the effects of pain killers on people. It is NOT good. At the same time, I would try and talk to my Dr about getting off some of them, and what else you may be able to do for your body. I was also told that so many years of taking Ibuprofen like it was candy did not help my kidneys at all. It actually harmed them....and that was just otc meds. I can't imagine what prescribed pain meds end up doing. Maybe do some extra research on what helps with your specific areas of pain, and discuss the findings with your Dr. I regret so many years of taking ibu's. I can't go back though. All I can do is move forward, and try and care for my kidneys NOW! 💞
Yep ! Ihave a crushed disc that is pressing and trapping a whole bunch of nerves...Pain gets quite Prolific, like a bus is parked on my back , Its such a struggle to walk. Anyway for about a yr the pain used to move and extend right up my back and even to my front ? Turns out that was down to a competly different symptom !! The dreaded gall bladder was stuffed to the rafters wiv gallstones..eventually a stone became trapped...Pain was through the roof...10x worse than child birth...Xx
Wow! Dr. Berg, as a medical student, I appreciate the thorough explanation of the kidney function, causes of kidney issues, and the visuals of what takes place internally to the kidneys were awesome! Thank you so much for taking your time to do this review and how the ultimate cause of kidney issues take place in the world of Diabetes. Its so important to take our health and cater to it from early on!

Thank you for this information I've had problems with my lower limbs being affected by edema. I went to my pcp to refer me to a vascular specialost however he was concerned about a mass he felt in the abdomen area. Long story short there was a large benign tumor that was so huge it dislocated my left uterer, pressed on my kidneys and intestines. My pressure was high, vitamin d levels were really low along with iron. Thank god my pcp stressed the issues with my abdomen, The tumor was removed with the help of 6 specialist a uterer stent placed, and unfortunately a hysterectomy. I haven't had this issue since my surgery and my glucose is fine
Thank you Dr. Berg for the invaluable information you send out to all of us who desperately need to hear basic, common sense medical advise without the medicines. Why is this so hard to find from medical practitioners?
Because they are controlled (from the moment they enter med school) by big pharma, who is controlled by the cabal. A patient cured is a customer lost. Doctors in med school only have to take one class on nutrition, and it's the same, outdated crap we all learned in middle school. Food pyramid, lots of grains, dairy, carbs, etc. Nothing about the importance of greens, eating organic, juicing, low carbs, etc that we all should have been taught.

This is something I wouldn’t wish upon any one, same could be said for cancer… I lost my grandfather to kidney disease recently, you explained well in this vid.. Also notice the foot swelling and extreme exhaustion he had.. Had to accompany him to his dialysis treatments, no one knows what a person is going through in those circumstances, till you go through it yourself … take care of your kidneys everyone!
I know we can see on the outside of our bodies the problems that are going on the inside of our bodies, but WOW! If we were able to actually see inside our bodies to see the damage we are doing to the insides I think we would all be a lot healthier and aware of what we are eating and doing.

The best doctor that I have encountered. I’m a nurse and doctors don’t do patient teaching. They’re quick to write prescriptions!
theyre greedy, most are just glorified pharmaceutical salesmen with inflated egos.

Sugar can be the basis for every disease,,, carbs turn into sugar and damage blood vessels,,, (a1c)
Part of the fun of a kidney stone is going to the emergency room and waiting 5 hours in excruciating pain including writhing on the floor and having the personnel get angry at you for doing that while they see people with colds before you get help. I'd like to thank the American hospitals everywhere who do that. Kudos. Great job.

Good luck
Having high potassium of 5.1 is also a sign of kidney disease Potassium has to be in the middle .Too low is as bad as high level.
Look up Berberine, Dr. Berg also recommends it. Very helpful for sugar.
You are a gem on earth....and we blessed to find you....

Our Doctors have not been trained properly about nutrition much or else since the greedy elite run the medical schools and big pharma ( IMO). Thank God for people like Dr. Berg.
I give my dad plant based food his blood pressure normal now
OH I'm so sorry that happen to your Dad and I feel for you, my dad died from kidney failure, I which I knew back then in 2017 what I know now from Dr. Berg ,my Dad was 97 and strong and healthy, living on his own, up till his last year , he may have made it to 100 with Dr. Bergs help .Now we just have to keep passing on to our love one , the knowledge we get from Dr. Berg to get healthy and stay that way.
My condolences for your dad.
Peritoneal didn’t work well for him…do you know why? My dad was on that and it helped him. I’m curious to share knowledge about it please? I may be facing the same future so I’d like to know your story please, if you don’t mind?
Doctors only study nutrition for like 24 hours in school,,
Thankyou for these videos, I lost one of my kidneys when I was 17 and I'm now 53, just developed an aching in my back where my remaining kidney is and also I've been feeling exhausted... I'm going to try my best to follow your advice and see if it makes a difference. I wish I'd found you years ago, my diet has been so bad and it has to change... Thankyou again. I hope to be back one day to post the results of how it goes 👍🙏❤
Thank you Doctor for impacting knowledge to this generation...we love you from Nigeria.
Very glad to be of help.
You’re a God send❤️🙏❤️ Thank you!
Anytime.
So sad they did same with my mom , sadly she died last Aug, the disease out stress in her heart .. she didn’t survive heart attack
Doctors don't give a f*ck about you. You're paying their bills. Take care of yourself. You don't have a choice!
Thank you for this video Dr Berg! Kidney health is such an underrated problem in today's society! Thank you for raising the awareness. Knowing more about this could save a lot of people.
Thanks for sharing this
Thanks to Both of you for all you great content, you have both helped me save and improve my moms and many other life’s I’m sure, have a great thanksgiving everyone😃
you look very cute. sweet face
@Ookidney you're awesome! It's nice to know you also follow Dr. Berg. This is one of you followers in Nigeria.
thanks Dr. Berg, very good
information , kidney is one
of the most important part of our body. aporeciate very much.waiting for some more
videos bless you.
I have older cookbooks from the 50s and back then a Thanksgiving meal had quite a bit less sugar and starch and quite a bit more variety of vegetables
You are all heart! So generous!!! Thank you & God bless!!
How is she
Swelling in the hands, legs and feet.
Yup!!! Low protein
How is everything over there ? I was checking the directory and I unearthed your profile, and though you seemed worth talking to, so i added you. Hope you don't mind?
And oxalate toxicity. Watch talks with Sally Norton and Elliot Overton. Very informative!
Not high carb. No.

I think we are on the same boat. How are you feeling after the surgery?
I think we are on the same boat. How are you feeling after the surgery?
@@margaretlu8663 I feel very good. I ended up having 2 tumors and if I had gone anywhere else, they would not have found the second one and I would still be sick. How are you feeling?
I wonder what destroys the parathyroid glans?
What were the signs of this please? How did you first discover something was wrong?
I have kidney failure since 24 I’m 34 now but I have nephrotic syndrome it’s been so hard living a normal life I usually have to stop but I love this video and will keep watching u for more information
I lost my grandma with bad kidneys. Thanks Dr, I learnt a lot from toxic kidneys, everything my grandma had Diabetic, glucose, edema, and high blood pressure etc.
Thanks Dr. Berg for taking the time to explain this slowly and show us what to do at the different stages. God bless You for helping us.

My dad died of stage 4 kidney failure 5 years ago. He was on many medications, poor diet. I believe that played a huge factor in his premature death. If he did the Keto diet and and slowly came off all the medications, I believe he would be here today.
Oh my goodness, how awful. I'm so sorry for your loss. Hugs to you!
@@gardensofthegods exactly correct. I am stage 4 kidney disease and keto is not safe for us due to the higher amounts of protein and phosphorus.
Keto is bad for your kidneys. I tried it and ended up with kidney stone. Avoid Spinach, Almonds and most nuts.

Thank you for supporting those of us with kidney issues!
My friend was vegan for years. One of her overies disappeared. The food pyramid was influenced by grain growers and vegans as well. So too much sugar.
I used to wake up every morning with a metallic taste in my mouth and a queasy stomach. Went on for years. It stopped within a week of moving out of the apartment I lived in...the apartment (and the whole apartment complex, actually) had a known black mold problem.
@@saltyprepper5513 interesting, thanks

Thank you so much Dr. Berg. My mom is going through dialysis right now and I really wished there was something I could do help her feel better.
Make sure she is taking vitamin D3! No vitamin D2!
You maybe a match for a donor .

Thanks Doc.
He puts out good vibes.
I agree, I needed to hear this.
Love you x
My late father was on home dialysis in the early 80s
@@Suzanna-wh3nr I wasn't aware. Thanks for the information. I certainly don't remember home dialysis being advertised on TV that much back then, and that probably had to do with the fact that the service wasn't that much in demand as it is now.
What caused his diabetes?
@@youtubeuser7798 Poor diet. He was heavily into sweet and starchy foods. Being Indian, our diet is replete with high carb food. When he was diagnosed with diabetes back in the late 70s early 80s, doctors were not prescribing a low carb diet. Hence, he would continue to consume the same high carb diet, minus the sugary stuff, and take medication. Ultimately, it led to much suffering, kidney failure, a kidney transplant, and then 8 years after the transplant, the failure of that transplanted kidney.
@@alphacause wow :( sorry to hear that
THANK YOU FOR ALL THE QUALITY AND CLARITY OF YOUR PRESENTATIONS..... LIFE SAVING FOR MANY. BLESSINGS AND KEEP SHINING!
Glad to know that you liked this post!

Because they are all accomplices in the crime.
@@VicToria-sd1dn Thank you for being brave & courageous enough to mention this fact/TRUTH that many dare not even mention!!! 🎯💯
Because medical doctors as well, are all part of the same cartel and hypocrisy...simple!!

I know we can see on the outside of our bodies the problems that are going on the inside of our bodies, but WOW! If we were able to actually see inside our bodies to see the damage we are doing to the insides I think we would all be a lot healthier and aware of what we are eating and doing.
