Hey 'Eeer fan. That is my fav run of all of Vick's. Wish we Hokies were still playing you guys, home and home, every year. I really miss that game. No matter who won, it was a "football game".
Tech fans call that "The Miracle in Morgantown." WVU went 4-7 that year, and VT went 11-1 and played FSU in the Sugar Bowl. There is no win over VT by WVU that is considered in any way to be exceptional. There's probably very few WVU fans that even remember the perfect 1993 season was preserved by a VT FG attempt that went wide right with 1:10 left in the game.
I'm a UW husky fan, so I'm biased for their qbs...Marques Tuiasosopo was one of the first qbs to run for 200 and pass for 300 in one game...he was a beast. Mark Brunnell and Jake Locker were also fantastic dual threat qbs.
His blood clot issue in his leg is what ended his career. Had he not have had that problem he would have probably ended up being a running back in the league.
The best I remember seeing is Mike Vick and Vince Young. Cam is right there also. Some other great Qbs for Nebraska and Louisville especially. I am a Texas fan. I saw so many great runs by VY. He always looked like a gazelle to me when he ran. Those long legs made it look like he was jogging compared to the defense.
Have to agree. The way he just handled those Gators for a NC was so impressive. Most of these other QBs don't even compare. Like Lamar Jackson's run in the highlights here against FSU. Not the same FSU of year's prior. It's like having a good run against a team like Tennessee or South Carolina. Not impressive. Frazier did it in a NC game against the supposedly second best team in the country.
whatever, have you ever seen a QB take the ball from a running back falling down short of the yard to gain ala Caleb Williams, ever heard of Thomas Lott, J.C Watts, Jamelle Holieway shitt these guys' were magicians, nothing ever will be like OU and the Wishbone check the record books.
@Don Mitchell yeah those were against low level teams that sucked, Tommie Fraziers run was in the national championship against an elite Florida defense, and he just destroyed all 11 men on that play
A lot of great QB runs have been made since Vick. I used to tape Florida St and Virginia Tech games and rewatch them over and over again. Then they played each other on the BCS championship. I think I rewatched that tape so many times I lost count. Peter Warrick and Michael Vick. It was a treat!
Great vid. Could've added three more Braxton Miller runs if you wanted to. One against Cal his sophomore year. And then one against Nebraska and one against Michigan his junior year.
Surprised to only see 1 play from Oregon in here. You could also add about 5 more of Braxton Miller. I'm remarkably biased, but that dude was the most electric runner at QB I have ever seen. Vince Young was so productive and seemingly impossible to tackle, but Braxton had moves that just shouldn't have been possible. His run against Cal was only one juke but he made that poor guy miss by several yards despite being right in front of him. I've never seen anything like it.
Great video ! Hard to include everyone but I thought this was an awesome mix. Those that like running QB's should check out some Marques Tuiasasopo highlights. He was a great dual threat QB for UW in the late Nineties. Once put up 300yrds passing 200 yrds rushing on Stanford.
There was no mix! There was certainly a bias. So many runs unseen that were better! You can throw a rock and hit SEC QB’s with better runs that the ones listed here
Great video. Don't remember seeing the Caleb Williams run against the Horns (I don't see anyone else commenting it so maybe I missed it). Tebow of course. Dennis Dixon had some great ones at Oregon - I saw several of them in-person. Armanti Edwards at App State still haunts my nightmares. But honestly you could do a whole video of just Vince Young and Vick and you still wouldn't get all of them.
The long TD runs by Vick are great highlights, but his most important run was against WVU in Morgantown that set up the winning field goal. That one is often overlooked.
See if you can find the footage of University of Hawaii QB (1981-84) Raphel Cherry, who was the first player to perform an acrobatic forward flip directly over a defender and into the end zone. I remember seeing this highlight one night as I was watching college football recaps during Cherry's career there. It was a stunning move in which Cherry landed on his feet and remained upright.
Need a part 2, lots of other names that can be on here for some incredible runs. Need at least one or two Joshua Dobbs videos....he's the only reason Butch Jones wasn't a complete disaster right from the start at Tennessee.
1989 Darian Hagan for Colorado vs Nebraska, officially he pitched it to J.J. Flanigan but you don't often see a pitch on an option play 40 yards past the line of scrimmage.
I must say you're one of the best highlight channels going, really diverse options and you don't ruin it by putting generic stock music in the background
My dad was telling me recently told me about Pat White and how good he was. I didn’t really believe him at first since I never heard of the guy, but boy was I wrong!

White wasn't that big of a guy especially by football standards. After the hit, I knew there was no coming back, And I don't believe I ever saw or heard his name again
Those runs by the Nebraska Cornhuskers QB's (Tommie Frazier, Eric Crouch and Taylor Martinez) honestly have to be the best runs in college football history. Especially Taylor Martinez run where he ran back about 14 yards and then took it to the house about 76yds!!! And then Eric Crouch run where he should have been sacked for the safety and took it a hundred yards that won him the Heisman that year. Hands down those Husker runs are tops.

His blood clot issue in his leg is what ended his career. Had he not have had that problem he would have probably ended up being a running back in the league.
kinda surprised we didn't see any runs from Terrelle Pryor. Great vid as always!
I was waiting on WVU QB Major Harris' magical run against Penn State... on a broken play nonetheless. Glad you got it in there. Good job, PSC.
Vick played in a pro style offense. If he could have played in the spread it would have been electric
Robinson's run against OSU always reminded me of a physics problem. Two equal and opposite forces at action with the QB in the middle.
I'm surprised that his run against Notre Dame wasn't on here. He just blew by everybody
Dude was insanely fast and one of the nicest human beings I ever had the pleasure to meet.
You could make a whole list of Denard Robinson running against Notre Dame.
Denards air force run shouldve been added
Michael Vick still the greatest I have seen all time
Mike Vick makes them sick.....
Greatest!!
Mike Vick’s speed is unreal.
Michael Vick was a beast in his time at Virginia Tech!
First of all, Michael Vick has Leopard DNA.
Second of all, Eric Crouch's TD runs were totally crazy.
In every game Matt Jones of Arkansas played he had at least one run as good or better than most of these!!
Check out Matt Jones at Arkansas in the early 00's if there is a part II
I had forgotten about how many great running QBs that Nebraska had.
The OU - Neb game was a huge rushing fest back when OU had the wishbone.
Tommie Frazier’s run vs Florida is the greatest QB run in college football history, no question or argument about it!
Damn straight! Go Big Red
@@Hayyyward Vince Young though. This was a huge game, in fact it was a Natty and he basically walked it off with a QB run.
whatever, have you ever seen a QB take the ball from a running back falling down short of the yard to gain ala Caleb Williams, ever heard of Thomas Lott, J.C Watts, Jamelle Holieway shitt these guys' were magicians, nothing ever will be like OU and the Wishbone check the record books.
@Don Mitchell yeah those were against low level teams that sucked, Tommie Fraziers run was in the national championship against an elite Florida defense, and he just destroyed all 11 men on that play
I love how at 4:53 the other commentator just new that he was gone after one juke.
Really good video. I think you missed a pretty good one by omitting Russell Wilson for NC State against Miami in 2008
Robert "RG3" Griffin was so fun to watch in college and of course his rookie season in Washington
Big rugby and American football fan here. These are such beautiful sights. It's like watching a fly-half taking off!
Thomas Lott, JC Watts and Jamelle Holloway. OU triple option legends that will put these guys to shame.
Add Steve Davis to
One Tebow run, one Newton run, and no Dennis Dixon is criminal. That being said I did like the video.
😲...No Matt Jones ?!?
Make a video of his runs so people can compare. Maybe you'll get an Oscar.
Maybe people shouldn't randomly use the phrase "history", "greatest" or "all time" in their descriptions. It's deceptive.
Watching Vick was so awesome! I’m not taking anything away from the other guys but Vick was electric!!
Will Grier to beat Texas was gold, and I'm sure more Pat White runs could be added.
these highlights prove that no greater a sport than football, truly the greatest rate of change in emotion
Thank you!!! Only one run from Braxton this whole video is criminal
Tommie Frazier against Florida, easily the best. Eric crouch going 95 against Missouri is right up there. Nice video.
Born in 96 so Vince Young was one of my earliest memories of running QBs. Rose Bowl was beautiful!
Eric crouch for Nebraska back then was a beast!
I forgot about him. Dammm, he was Monster😂😂
I loved Dak at MSU and he did have some great runs, but Anthony Dixon before him had some beastly runs.. Like that game at Arkansas years ago
I came here thinking Vick, Tebow, Lamar Jackson, Taysom Hill, Vince Young... Wasn't disappointed, and was reminded of so many more. Great compilation.
Jalen Hurts run on uga in 2018 SECCG deserves a spot
Great video ! Hard to include everyone but I thought this was an awesome mix. Those that like running QB's should check out some Marques Tuiasasopo highlights. He was a great dual threat QB for UW in the late Nineties. Once put up 300yrds passing 200 yrds rushing on Stanford.
There was no mix! There was certainly a bias. So many runs unseen that were better! You can throw a rock and hit SEC QB’s with better runs that the ones listed here
Cams run at 0:22 is the best by far. Power, agility, and the acceleration at the end is special.
You saved it until the end, but the Jenkins run makes any "best of" list legit. Great video.
For part 2 - Utah’s Cam Rising in the Rose Bowl vs. Ohio State, 62-yard TD run.
💯
Blake Sims vs Texas A&M, made one move and went like 70 on them
I was at the LSU- MS State game when Dak torched LSU. That game is my father's 1st ever time in Tiger Stadium.
Michigan fan?
The long TD runs by Vick are great highlights, but his most important run was against WVU in Morgantown that set up the winning field goal. That one is often overlooked.
Pat White was amazing to watch.. one of the best QBs WVU will ever have
I love how Lamar runs straight down the middle toward the endzone with ZERO fear
I live in Louisville and loved watching him in college
See if you can find the footage of University of Hawaii QB (1981-84) Raphel Cherry, who was the first player to perform an acrobatic forward flip directly over a defender and into the end zone. I remember seeing this highlight one night as I was watching college football recaps during Cherry's career there. It was a stunning move in which Cherry landed on his feet and remained upright.
Need a part 2, lots of other names that can be on here for some incredible runs. Need at least one or two Joshua Dobbs videos....he's the only reason Butch Jones wasn't a complete disaster right from the start at Tennessee.
THE FACT YOU ADDED SENECA WALLACE's RUN MAKES THIS VIDEO LEGIT. THANK YOU!!!
17:10 run was so nice, even the opposing coach had to show respect 😂
Thats a fact coach was like "Alright that was good running" lmao
Tebow vs Berry collision was epic.
What plays should be in part 2? 👀
Baxton miller run vs cal
Joe burrow’s run against Alabama
John rhys plumlee
1989 Darian Hagan for Colorado vs Nebraska, officially he pitched it to J.J. Flanigan but you don't often see a pitch on an option play 40 yards past the line of scrimmage.
Zander Diamont vs Ohio State
watching this get me hyped just before playing College football 25 next month
I must say you're one of the best highlight channels going, really diverse options and you don't ruin it by putting generic stock music in the background
FSU fans are humble. LULZ

Love the Vick highlights, lost footage, grainy like we are watching the X Files.
My dad was telling me recently told me about Pat White and how good he was.
I didn’t really believe him at first since I never heard of the guy, but boy was I wrong!
I watched him in one game completely dismantle Oklahoma almost by himself
He was stupid elusive. A beast.
One of my fave college QB's of all time. I still remember him playing in preseason game for the Dolphins. Made a scramble and someone blew his ass up on what I thought was a cheap shot. White wasn't that big of a guy especially by football standards. After the hit, I knew there was no coming back, And I don't believe I ever saw or heard his name again
@@anitrustgga9870 such a shame because he really was a special take to, he just didn’t have the size to back it up
Those runs by the Nebraska Cornhuskers QB's (Tommie Frazier, Eric Crouch and Taylor Martinez) honestly have to be the best runs in college football history. Especially Taylor Martinez run where he ran back about 14 yards and then took it to the house about 76yds!!! And then Eric Crouch run where he should have been sacked for the safety and took it a hundred yards that won him the Heisman that year. Hands down those Husker runs are tops.
Cam Newton's is forever etched in my brain
The Seneca Wallace run is still one of the best ever
8:53 Gus Johnson is correct, Legendary run
Mike Vick was like Walter Payton in Tecmo Bowl. He was SO fast. Made defenders look like they were standing still
Walter , tf. The fastest back in Tecmo Bowl was Bo Jackson. He was a literal cheat code.
I truly think Lamar Jackson is the modern day Mike Vick. He might even be a little bit better of a runner. I think Mike has the better arm though.
Came out of the gate with two of the greatest runs Ive ever seen in my lifetime.
What about matt Jones Arkansas
