The announcer was on it. Was tripping on how the guy on the purple team was squatting in the background not moving at all.

Fun fact: Miami's kick return against Duke actually had so many missed calls that should've nullified it that all the refs in charge of that game were suspended.

man I miss Verne calling games.. the kick six was absolutely insane.. would've loved to had been on that campus after that💯💯 "touchdown auburn, an answered prayer" was an iconic call by an absolute legend that still gives me chills to this day every time I hear it 💯
I watched that game with my family, my dad Auburn, my mom and my brother bama. My grandpa was also there who was a bama fan. When I watched that play my dad and I were shocked. What an amazing play to watch.

I was working in a restaurant full of folks watching the Alabama-Auburn game, and safe to say it became loud. One of my uncles was at the game and went on the field with a cousin of mine who was an Auburn student at the time. People were literally pulling chunks of the grass and bushes out and taking it home.
I was on campus that night. It was insane everywhere. It was like Mardi Gras. All the bars were packed, the roads were packed with people drinking. I'm an Alabama fan and it helped the heartbreak after that kick six lol.
That's probably the best game ending I've ever seen, and I'm old enough to have watched the BC-Miami game.
Crazy that the kick six and the play against Georgia happened in the same year for auburn

For context as to why 14:02 is the most amazing: BYU trailed by 19 with like 3:26 left. They needed a blocked punt, onside kick recovery, and hail Mary all to go their way. This was merely the final play to validate the rest (edit, lead was 20)

The 2013 season gave us so many wonderful moments. A great season for the BCS to go out on. Now if only we could make the playoff more than 4 teams and make winning in the post season actually matter again.

As an Auburn fan, that loss to Florida State in the National Championship game still hurts because of the way the rest of the season went.
I remember feeling like Auburn was almost destined to win the title game, the whole year they found ways to pull it out. That return against Alabama in my opinion is one of the best college football moments ever.
Especially after those last two regular season games,I’m a Bama fan btw 😂

The first ever College Football game I ever saw was the Colorado Hail Mary vs Michigan. That was quite the intro.
15 laterals… we may never see another play that lasts a full minute and is run that perfectly.
So many incredible things about the LSU/Kentucky ending...the JP sports broadcast showing Kentucky 30 - LSU 27 Final for a split second as Devery Henderson is in the end zone; the fans rushing the field before the play is over and celebrating, not realizing they lost; and of course, the Kentucky head coach getting the Gatorade shower before the play. It was a moment for the ages!

My gf left the room before that play to use the bathroom. When she came back we were all sreaming and yelling and jumping up and down in joy! The "leave the room" superstition worked. 😄

I was on a plane to Florida for vacation and forgot the game was that day I was traveling. Apparently I need to not pay attention and forget for Iowa to win big games lol Seems every time I get to watch, they lose. Haha

Our cable just happened to go out that night, so my sister, my friends and I all watched on a damn laptop someone brought. I remember everyone celebrating in the streets in Tallahassee after the game too

I went to the Duke Miami game‼️‼️ then after we left and stopped to get food we were watching the Georgia Auburn game and the whole restaurant blew up. I have to say that was the best Saturday night I have witnessed
I'd love to see a video on some of the play sequences that lead up to some of these games. UT vs UGA - UGA had an incredible play just seconds earlier to take the lead. LSU vs UK - another similar leadup. Comebacks to snatch back the comeback.

That 2011 Michigan ND was insane. Entering the 4th quarter, Michigan was trailing 24-7 and over the next 13 min. and 19 sec. preceded to score 21 unanswered points to take a 28-24 lead with 1:41 left. ND went down the field in 1:11 to take a 31-28 lead. At that point I turned the TV off and went to bed thinking MICH lost and missed the ending. My dad tried to tell me that Michigan won and I didn't want to hear it because I thought they lost, only to find out the next morning that they beat ND 35-31
We got hit hard in this video when it came to messing up plays. But there is a lot of plays that we have done to secure wins.

I’m a Michigan fan in my mid 20s so I wasn’t alive for the heartbreak of the Colorado game, but that is literally the greatest pass I’ve ever seen. He sizes it up at the opposite 25 yard line and guns it all the way to the end zone, that’s insanity.
26 yard line to about the 2 or 3 yard line...and the ball bounces up to the end zone...
But yeah, it's an incredible pass...70+ yards in the air.

17:15 I was at the Iowa/MSU game. As an MSU fan, that is hands down the single greatest football game I have ever personally attended (and I've attended MSU/UM games, and was also at the ND game 18:30).
But I don't remember it being that loud after the catch. In fact, all I can remember is the stadium going from so loud you could feel the stadium shaking under your feet, to dead silent. It was so quiet... you'd have thought they told you a player died on the field.
I couldn't fathom being at the game in the first clip. I'm an Iowa State fan (born and raised in Iowa), but I've loved the Auburn football and basketball squads over the years and have become a big fan. I've even gotten nice sweatshirts and jackets with 'Auburn Tigers' embroidered on them. I watch everything ISU and Auburn since 2011, and I'm so excited to be going to my first Auburn football game next October. Go Tigers!
2:29 I always come back to that moment during the Kick Six game in 2013. Being an Alabama fan, the outcome could've turned out differently. Saban should've made the decision to go into overtime IMO. But yeah, every time I come back to watch that bit, I almost feel every time I watch, a different outcome could've happened. Chris Davis could've been tackled. man that first Auburn one IMO is the best one here. All of these, yes they were amazing and surprising, but still not unrealistic. Low chance it could happen, but these plays were always a possibility, and it's not always a shocker that that was how they won the game.
But that 1st game...home for Auburn, and they still had time...they just needed to get 1st down on 4th and long. They throw into triple coverage where everyone except the receiver could see the ball, and Georgia gets their hands on the ball first. Then the most lucky bounce so that Auburn player is at right place at right time, and he's got clear field ahead for TD.
Like say at the start of that drive, you told someone Auburn would score a game winning TD on that drive. It gets to 4th down. Sure, you may think hail mary, get lucky and open, something of the sort. But it's just the way that happened is so crazy...haven't seen like anything like that.
Had the natty been reversed that year with FSU going up big early then Auburn coming back for a win, Auburn's season could probably say that was the luckiest season for any team ever. This play, kick 6, then natty as I said, especially after coming off their 2012 season. Crazy

3:31 - A note about the Cal-Stanford play: It wasn't immediately called a touchdown. There was about a 30-second discussion between the refs after Kevin Moen bowled over that trombone guy before it was officially signaled a TD.
I’ve seen that full clip… congrats to you for seeing that, you’ve really got to love watching football to find that.
I think that was before refs could review plays in college football so I bet they had to make sure that they all agreed that all of the passes were laterals and that none of the players were down before they passed it off.

Wish they had added the previous play where UGA took the lead and we all thought it was pretty much over (for me at least). But then they get the penalty and give us the big return from Berry to get us in that position. All that adds so much to the reason that’s such a wild ending.
