I am a gator fan and Berry was one guy i really liked from UT. Maybe the only one lol.
Agreed - that was a classic! It was such a moment too - the announcers recognized it too. Go Vols!
I love the one where the gators get an INT and the Bama player causes him to fumble. He doesn't gloat or talk smack. He just looks to the sideline for the next play. Professional.
10:49 Michael Robinson (the quarterback delivering that blow) played 8 years in the NFL as a fullback, making the Pro Bowl in 2011.
Wow you know some things
The Minnesota player was injuried and never the same since. The story is that Michael Robinson never wanted that hit on any PSU highlight reel as a result.
Most of these plays are double kills, first they qb is getting smacked by like 2 to 4 dudes and then wide receiver is getting split in half by the safety and corner
Feeding frenzy
It's a crime that Jonathan Vilma from the University of Miami two biggest hits from the 2001 National Championship games are not in this video. Go Canes!
4:10 Quentin Coryatt, LB Texas A&M hits TCU receiver, leaving the receiver with a concussion and broken jaw.
The play that defines Clowney's life. Since then, many injuries, average play when not hurt, and a ton of money that hinders cap space.
bro do you hate clowney or something you only replying to comments about him lmfao
@@samparker5488 yeah
I don’t know why I clicked on this video as a Michigan fan, knowing what will be one of the first clips.
As a MSU fan that is my favorite hit in college football
Bro we got the greatest upset, Hail Mary and biggest hit. We suck
I knew that would be there too. But I give them props for including that 97 Mich-PSU hit.
As a lifelong Ky boy I was at that game that Tebow got rocked. I’ll never forget he was over on the sidelines puking afterwards and I felt bad for him. I said he was a tough SOB after taking that hit though.
Need the ruud hit from the Nebraska vs Oklahoma games 50 years ago, that was a hit. Maybe on version 2 if you make it of this video
GBR
That was my first thought too lol
where he nearly killed a man on a kick return? So savage. That returner was out cold as soon as contact was made.
I was at the game in Lubbock when Dwayne Slay hit Alan Everage, it was nasty, but Alan ran the QB draw later in the game, so much respect to him. Slay hit a KSU WR like that earlier in the game. The hardest hit I saw in Lubbock was before everything was televised and Gabe Rivera hit an Arkansas pulling guard so hard, he knocked the guy back into the piggie RB & Gabe essentially tackled them both.
I miss Slay. He was a great player to watch. Wreck Em.
0:53 God I love this play. I love when offensive guys absolutely destroy defensive guys.
I was there and watched that, unforgettable moment. Bad call by the refs since at the time it was legal, but yeah we got annihilated so it wouldn't have made a difference
Exodus 20:7 “You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold guiltless anyone who takes his name in vain.” It’s not right to use God’s Name in vain. He tells us that in the Bible. I pray that you will realize and stop saying it. The Holy Trinity is God alone. There never has and never will be another god. God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are God. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Not three gods but One. God bless and just letting you know
The Michigan safety hitting the Penn State TE is the hardest hit I’ve ever seen next to Todd Washington hitting Ferron Wright
That Clowney hit hands down one of the most brutal ever.
and not much in the NFL
That single hit made Jadeveon a very rich man
Not really. It was a nice tackle but that rb's helmet came off all the time because of his hair. People assume it was so hard because his helmet came off
@@honestmike3255 either way he lost his bonnet 😂….. and the one hand palmed recovery just adds insult to injury… they are lucky he did not run it in for 6
Did you watch the rest of the video? JFC There were at least 10 that were just as if not more brutal. The Zach Dumas hit was far nastier. Come on man.
Clowney's hit is the greatest "ball don't lie" moment ever
Haven’t watched yet but the first play I think of is Clowney breaking that Michigan running back in half
I thought he hit Denard Robinson
That was a good hit and fumble, BUT it shouldn’t have propelled him to #1 pick.
@@Mr.J281 agreed he’s underperformed to put it lightly
@@thomasdaniels6824 it was Vincent Smith
But now he’s on the browns with Myles garret, if he steps up, that edge rush is awful for quarterbacks
6:39 They show the *Celebration*🎉 then cut to him face down. *Hilarious*
Seminoles made 7 appearances out of maybe 35-40 clips!! #GoNoles
FSU vs Miami (2 for - 1 against)
FSU vs Clemson (1 against)
FSU vs UF (1 against)
FSU vs UNC (1 for)
FSU vs South Carolina (1 for)
Fear The Spear!!!!
I remember when we used to hit hard 😭
Love the hit at 11:55 after the play!
The announcer at 8:40 is straight WWE 😆
Legend has it, Reggie Brown is STILL face down counting blades of grass.
No he was down there telling the blades of grass his life story up until that point
Real Brutal football loved every bit 😆
Jadeveon clowney still living of that tackle
That Major Wright hit on Manny Johnson in the Natty gives me goosebumps. Oklahoma was this high powered offensive juggernaut and Florida made a statement on the first play
It was targeting
@@KHBEE It was a good hit lol. I don’t understand these new age fans that consider that targeting. You do understand that this is football right.
@@Mystery_Man84 He literally led with his helmet and "launched". They would call targeting nowadays
The Clowney Hit will always be the greatest hit on any level.. I remember one time they played the hit for 30 minutes straight on the SEC network channel 🤣
Most of those were poor choices by inexperienced QBs and WR paid the ultimate price… but Greg Jones and Mike Robinson having the ball and delivering those kind of blows is insane!!! Felt bad for Steve seeing Bennett come off the end untouched lol…he was a monster
My era of football!!!
This is exactly the video I’ve been searching for all my life.
Great job 👍
This is the football I feel in love with. 😍 The good ol'days.
When everyone was developing severe CTE and other brain injuries. Good ol days
good old days of guys forgetting how to read and drive by the time they turn 40 good times
Whenever ever u see the old old footage you know someone is about to get laid out
3:41 I remember watching this play me and my dad were so happy about the int until he just got bulldozed afterwards 😔
First week of high school football back in 2000. Kids we coach now think their 15 minute limit on tackling per day and two a days with mandatory 15 minute water breaks are hard.
That Michigan Penn st hit was definitely the hardest hit I have ever seen both players where never the same
That OSU hit on auburn was brutal and perfect lol
Best one yet
@3:33 John Metchie is the nastiest hitting WR in all of CFB...
Right!!
If there’s a clip of another WR that has delivered a nastier hit....i wanna see it.
🐘Roll Tide🐘
The hit might not look as nasty but it was a really good one. I love watching it on replay and I feel sorry for your linebacker every time Evan spencer decleats him on the touchdown run in the sugar bowl. Sorry if I’m bringing up a bad memory but after our ass kicking last year I don’t have much sympathy for you!! lol Maybe we’ll get to do it again this year. As long we don’t lose to UM I can live with it. lol
m.ruclips.net/video/Y9WwaeV9IoA/видео.html
@@bbkyjohnson lol, it's all good man
3:00 I love watching the option offense, but it does leave QBs and running backs wide open for big hits.
You should be arrested for cutting off Gus Johnson on the Denzel Ward hit
THANK YOU for not adding any music
That tackle that Oklahoma had is probably the greatest tackle I’ve ever seen ever on any level
Gawd DAMN, nothing will ever beat those old school college hits. Those boys WANTED to hurt everyone!
11:43
#14: "Imma throw a block."
#52: "Puny human."
The Clowney hit was special because it wasn't a launched, blindside whack but a straight up face to face tackle. Wicked!
Now we know where CTE comes from; many, many hits with the helmet as the lead offensive weapon. That comes from coaching and coaches.
The way shazier tackled that CAL player was some foreshadowing
"it was worth the pain" these announcers are savages
i miss when football was like this
The title should have been “The Biggest Traumatic Brain Injuries In College Football History”.
This.... Is..... How.... Big hit compilations ARE DONE! THANK YOU! Too many people make this compilations and leave out the slow-mo/regular replay. Aggravates TF outta me. Then I gotta become a movie producer and rewind, slow the video down, etc, etc, etc.... SUB EARNED! Also "those are the collisions you don't like to see to be honest with you"? WTF? Absolutely not, those are the only collisions I want to see to be honest with you
Reuben Foster: ah, great memories!
I don't know if ANYTHING matches Zack Dumas' hit on Danley though. Amazing he got up and finished the game. Today Dumas would be suspended for that thanks to PC wusses. Clean but absolutely BRUTAL hit.
I STILL LOVE TO WATCH THE QUENTIN CORYATT HIT ...ITS BEAUTIFUL
By far the hardest hit on here.
Baylor’s kicker at 0:32: “Check please!”
💀😂
The Zack Dumas hit is just so :chef's kiss: Clean, massive, and with a fitting celebration to finish
11:56 is the funniest part of this whole video.
One of the best
I'm actually glad they taking some of these hits out the game. These are career ending type of hits.
I get the concern for these hits. However… football is a dangerous game, and football players know exactly what they’re getting into.
When Clowney hit that Michigan RB, I kinda felt like I just witnessed a murder.
I use to love these videos when I was younger. Now I just hope these guys don’t suffer any long term effects
Clowney is just straight overpowering the line and KILLING the back 🤣🤣🤣
I remember watching that play and thinking, "Come on Hoke, don't run right at Clowney" And he went ahead and did.
Clowney is a Pimp.
That hit made him. Good thing since he's been average at best.
As a former collegiate football player I’m glad to see them clean up some of these hits..really takes a told on both parties on some of these hits.🙏🏾
Toll*
you could always just.....not play.
After seeing this I can understand why college football players would want to get paid. These hits are brutal.
This the hitting we be looking for every Sunday
9:13 his body went one way and his soul the other way
That hit from the Michigan Penn St. game literally ended both players careers
USC has a lot of flat out, clearly dirty hits in this. Makes you wonder if there's a connection between their downfall and enforcement of not being able to freely concuss the opponent.
Pretty sure it had everything to do with Pete Carrol going pro.
That clowney play is still the craziest d line highlight I think I’ve ever seen. What a monster
Sure, but when the Saints try to make a highlight reel of Brett Farve getting lit up, suddenly it’s a bad thing.
This is college football.
