    Hi Joan-Marie I’ve just discovered your channel and excited about doing some of these! I have a painted tray and some beautiful stickers that I’d like to use on it - can I decoupage stickers in the some way as napkins? 😊🇳🇿

    • @JoanMarieDomino
      @JoanMarieDomino  11 месяцев назад

      Hi! Stickers can’t be used like napkins because they are thicker and won’t blend like a napkin. Honestly it will look like stickers on a tray. Save the stickers for something else and learn decoupage. Practice on some scrap wood. - Joan

    How long after the last coat of Mod Podge on the soap did you use it? I saw that you used regular Mod Podge as another project tutorial used the dishwasher Mod Podge. Do you think it would make a difference? I actually was making these today and bought dishwasher Mod Podge and I have a lot of regular so I wish I had known it would work. I love your videos. Thanks!

    • @JoanMarieDomino
      @JoanMarieDomino  11 месяцев назад +1

      Hi Angela! I used regular Mod Podge for the soap. You don’t need the dishwasher safe but I think you can still use it. I waited a few days before I used them. I always feel the longer you can wait the better. Have fun!! Joan 🙂

      Thank-you. I planned to make them and give them to the grandchildren at Thanksgiving with their names and christmas picture on the soaps. My husband bought me a laser color printer so I can print some images and not have to seal them like an inkjet printer. Just at a week should be a good amount of time. Thanks so much!

    Hi Joan, this is an another awesome video. I love watching and learning from you. I’m still learning. I love the iron on method. But find when I mod podge to seal, I get bubbles. Even though when I ironed I had no bubbles. Any advise?
    I love the magnets, how fun.

    • @JoanMarieDomino
      @JoanMarieDomino  11 месяцев назад +1

      Don’t use Mod Podge on top instead use a clear spray sealant like Rustoleum. Very light mistings to cover and allow drying time between mistings.
