    Joan!! I Absolutely love your ideas, designs & techniques. I have confidence, that everytime I Try your technique- it tuns out EXACTLY as you have shown- Today I saw this cardboard technique- headed right for the amazon box I just received- & VOILA! I successfully separated the corrugated cardboard- just as directed! You are a GEM!! I have collected rocks- a Slew (packages) of napkins, use a mini iron & NEVER TIRE of your videos & new things I learn..Please do oyster/ scallop shells- with decoupage & gold gilding..I have been trying my hand at these & also decoupaging 6x4 in cards- with calendars for the New Year.. I find your work and ideas so inspiring. My interest in art began in college in 80s & now in my 60s- still loving the new twists. TY Joan

    What a great tip for separating the layers!🙂👍🏻
    I've used a roughly torn piece of corrugated cardboard once when making a rustic card, with the addition of a small die cut grapevine wreath and a small die cut of birds on a branch.
    The uneven texture of the cardboard suited it, but I will definitely be looking for ways to use your neater version.
    Thanks so much for sharing your method.🤗

    😊 thank you for the tip. I use cardboard for making art cards, and the paper i take off does a great job at reinforcing brown paper bags. The bag process is sturdy, for journal pages grunge, and making large envelopes, or journal pocket reinforcements. Loads of fun to me. Thanks again. Take care, be safe.

      @@JoanMarieDomino sadly, I can't stop collecting them. Even though I use a reusable cup there are still places that give them out freely. And paper rolls to many. But thanks to you I can give them all new life, with all the napkins I have horded. Oh, and large rocks are not safe from me and my napkins. What a great addiction to have. Thank you

    Thank You so very much for this awesome tip!! I do have a question: How did you dry them so they don't warp? Love the bunny welcome sign by the way!🤗

    • @JoanMarieDomino
      @JoanMarieDomino  7 месяцев назад

      I lay them flat. Sometimes they dry completely flat and sometimes they are bowed, always very usable. I guess it depends on the cardboard. You can buy corrugated cardboard if you don’t want to upcycle. - Joan

    Once you get the top layer off the cardboard, how do you dry it so it doesn't curl?

    • @JoanMarieDomino
      @JoanMarieDomino  7 месяцев назад

      Most times it will curl please keep in mind this is an up-cycle tutorial for paper crafters who use this in many applications. You can buy corrugated cardboard on Amazon, it comes in roll. Thanks for tuning in! 🙂 - Joan

    • @JoanMarieDomino

      Boxes from Amazon, haha really I pull card board boxes before they are hauled off to the recycle center. Then I peel off the top piece to get to the corrugated part. 😄 - Joan
