    I am black and I want one...of course without the confederate flag...I'll leave that for the F-250, but I will take a peeing boy sticker or the peeing cat if you have one (Calvin & Hobbs). Also instead of the case Ginny Light..make it a case of Fat Tire..nice review by the way!!

    I can't be the only one that thinks it would be even more bad-ass with the hellcat.

    Great review as always. And I didn't hear a slavery reference either. People! Please stop creating issues where there are none. And for the record I am an American of darker pigmentation. :)

    What did you think of the cylinder deactivation? I had it in my '12 Ram crewcab. I found it loud and rough and any movement on the throttle shut it off. The 5.7 hemi I had did achieve and average of 19 MPG combines though. So it seemed to help. Just felt crude.

      To be honest, it was so transparent that I had to check the stats it see if this HEMI had it.

    I'd like to like to see this HEMI with the 8-sp automatic in the Powerwagon.

    How are the 17" Wrangler DuraTRACS (not techs) prone to roller-skating? They have a ton of tread and sipes, are among the most higly rated truck tires out there, and they are capable in both summer and winter being one of the few AT tires that is not only M+S rated but also get the winter snow flake.
    You make them sound like they are Mud Terrain tires or something as squirrley as the BFG T/A KOs or Bridgestone Duellers or Firestone Destination tires all of which get very loose in wet weather or once the mercury drops.

      Great off-road truck tire...don't get me wrong. But on dry pavement combined with this truck's lift, recirculating ball steering, etc. they tend to move about underneath you in a disconnected way.

      I agree, I have them on my 1500 and they are fantastic off-road and ridiculous in wet and dry snow:). They do wander on pavement and even Goodyear ranks them 6/10!

      Your comment didn't seem right, and when I just went in for the winter oil change, I thught I'd check again.
      Actually, Goodyear ranks them 8/10 on Dry or Wet Pavement; they are 6/10 for Road Noise.

      KnightShadey Fair enough but I do find they wander and are not the best road tire:)

    Pawel Kaszuba - Didn't hear any such thing from me. Simply referenced the Confederate flag - something you often see displayed on these kids of trucks, at least around my parts.

      Scott Campbell The Power Wagon is a model of the Ram series which can be had in an SLT trim level. Other trim levels available are the Tradesman on the low end and the Laramie as the highest trim level available.

    At least you admit the graphics are awful. Who in their right mind would want to drive around in this fruity pebble? Like how in the fuck did anybody at RAM think that a normal consumer would think that those graphics are "cool" looking?

      Works better at higher speed off-roading than air-suspension which is available in the standard RAM.
      Also the the physical linkage works better for articulation than the cross-link-air style used in Air suspensions like in the Range Rover, which is good for sand and such, but when you move into Rock Crawling, then the coil-linked suspension works better.

    12.5 mpg FAIL. Grab a Cummins, get 20.

    • @Bajaheat
      @Bajaheat 8 лет назад +1

      Pay 9k more for 6mpg? Fuel filters every 15k? That's $$$ the upkeep on a cummins and the up charge for the engine doesn't end up saving anything even with the better mpg

    • @GTOAviator
      @GTOAviator 8 лет назад

      I disagree. I drive my Cummins roughly 8-10k mile a year, so a new ~$90 fuel filter every 1.5 years doesn't really make a difference. Besides, when you're dropping this many g's on a truck you want the diesel. I couldn't be happier with my loaded 2016 Laramie Longhorn and I don't even tow much.

    • @Bajaheat
      @Bajaheat 8 лет назад

      +GTOAviator you payed 9k for an engine in a truck that you drive 9k miles a year? And you don't tow?

    • @GTOAviator
      @GTOAviator 8 лет назад +1

      +Bajaheat Who said anything about 9k more? Work the system and get a good deal. And yes, I bought myself a diesel "do everything truck" with the interior of a luxury European car. Spent about 2/3 what I'd spend on a new Mercedes or Lexus SUV and can haul a boat or car trailer whenever I want with ease. Do I also need a 600 horsepower GTO? Nope, but it sure is fun to drive ;)
