A few reasons why a diesel engine is not in the Power Wagon. One, the 6.7 liter Cummins diesel is 500lbs heavier than the Hemi and would make the vehicle very nose heavy (not good for wheeling). Second The diesels intercooler would reside right where the winch is so no winch if they made a diesel version. Third even the 3.0 lite v6r eco-diesel couldn't be considered because it just wouldn't be up to the task of powering a 7200lb vehicle but can handle a Ram 1500's much lighter weight of about 5,600lbs fairly well.
Because of this video I bought my 2016 Power Wagon almost 2 years ago!
