Depends on context, but whenever a guy flirted right in front of me with another girl on a date it was over.
Some people do have a sense of humour and make jokes, sounds like she's almost mocking the guy rather than flirting. The people I know make lots of innuendos and have a dark humour, maybe that's an English thing, the OP sounds dull.
Less than a month into a relationship I was going to cook dinner for a guy and we went to the grocery together. The cashier was very pretty and he openly and outrageously flirted with her right in front of me. When I told him I didn't like it, he got all "we just started dating. We're not in an exclusive thing. Flirting is fun and makes everyone feel good." Uh-huh. It made me feel disrespected and embarrassed. Sorry. When you're with one person, you don't treat them that way. Three years of being "exclusive" guess who cheated on me? I won't need to be whacked in the head with a red flag like that again.

If a week later he was flirting with other girls and insinuating he would sleep with them, even jokingly, I'd be gone. I don't flirt with others when I'm dating someone. I commit to the person I'm dating. If it doesn't work out, that's another thing but if I'm dating someone, it shouldn't be said that we're exclusive. I'm 21 as well, college age, and that shit shouldn't fly even if you are in college. Idk why people think being in college is an excuse to flirt around. We are a little over 2 years strong! :3
The context of what kind of girl she is and the friendship dynamics is really important for this story. My firend is 27 married and her joking is flirting at work with everyone without ever being serious. We asked her husband if it bothered him but he explained she has socialized like that with her firends since middle school.
Her childhood firends also play flirt alot in the group. Girls among girls, boys among boys and boys and girls. It looks like it's just the way this group interacts. Was kinda embarrassed when I went out with them but there almost all in serious relationships.
The real question is if her group is like this and if she was like this when they met. If they were, there's nothing wrong with asking but don't be mad if she agrees or disagree with changing. It'll depend in the individual if there ready to change for a relationship or if they want a partner that can handle her personality.

Story 1: Imagine this was a guy making openly flirty sexual comments to a girl (who's into him) in front of his brand new girlfriend. Would everyone be mocking her and saying she shouldn't be dating because she's too insecure? No, they'd be shouting from the rooftops for her to run because he's a walking red flag. Blaming OP for not beings "secure enough" to put up with blatant disrespect and massive red flags is beyond absurd. Absolute garbage take.
It sounds like OP is simply struggling to learn how to establish boundaries and how to accept that you aren't compatible with someone when you start seeing red flags. This is probably the first time he's dealt with red flags after getting emotionally sucked in. That doesn't mean he's never had a girlfriend. It just means he's never had one who was this openly dismissive and disrespectful towards a very normal and common boundary.

Okay, so like the first story, I understand what he's trying to say I just don't think he worded it correctly. I think he just wanted to be respected, at the very least while he was there, and he found it disrespectful when she flirted in front of him with another man.

Like it’s common you don’t get with another person while in a relationship, but some people do have open relationships and that stuff, so technically I think it’s “bare minimum”, but only for if you haven’t talked about it before. Clearly their feelings don’t align on that matter, so that’s the end of that. Compromise could work, but she wasn’t willing, so that it. He’s not wrong for mentioning it, she’s not wrong for denying him, both are kinda wrong for getting too upset but emotions happen so that’s ok lol.

Makes sense however, the issue is very clearly the way the OP talks about it and about his views on relationships in general, I think even if you'd reversed the genders in this case, if a girl was writing half the way OP was writing in that story, we'd look at her like she is delusional.

I know you’re trying to be devils advocate, but based on the way this is written I’m going out on a limb and guess op misconstrued a benign conversation to be sexual and is using this as leverage to direct his girlfriends behavior which is Literally controlling, even if she did actually flirt he doesn’t get to tell her what to do like that, especially for a two week relationship. OP is the one who mentions control in the first place, it doesn’t sound like he’s very secure and most certainly doesnt have a healthy view of relationships. Story 1....OP is literally correct to feel that way..if the roles were reversed I feel like everyone would be agreeing. The fact even Sophia is agreeing...is so odd to me. The way he talks was about controlling her and prioritizing his insecurities/ "boundaries" over her boundaries. She said he crossed a line and they should have broken up. He apologized so she thought he understood and then he keeps trying to control her and prioritize his boundaries over hers. That is what it came down to. In 2 weeks he thinks she should priotize his boundaries over hers. That is why everyone agreed. Just because your partner might be toxic, doesn't mean you can be too. And that is what they were seeing. The red flags lined in the story from what he was saying. Doesn't matter what she was doing

I think story 3 may be world of warcraft as you can do raids with 10 people and raids can last for about 5 hours as it takes time with tactics and prepping for bosses and taking out mobs. It's not as good playing on your own as you can get bad groups who don't communicate well with tactics so it is better to have a regular group who you know works well together. I can understand her frustration. Also 3-4 days sounds about right as raids reset every week so if you haven't cleared them you loose all the progress you have made which sucks that's why people play so often. Anyway enough geeking out from me just a theory 😂
Third story: The best friend is NOT gay, he's bi, but leaning towards guys maybe as much as 70/30, but likely less. It's unfortunate how the community has mostly excluded bisexuals, they want you to "pick a side". I am strictly hetero myself, but I've always understood that leaning, maybe because I always loved Treasure Island as a child, but knew I could never be a cabin boy.
Secondly. when I was in junior high (7th-8th grade) my church group was exclusively male except for me. They nicknamed me FLAG (First Lady Among Guys) and it was very enjoyable. There was never any special treatment, but there was also no harassment. So don't immediately distrust joining a guy group as a female.

If I started a relationship and saw my partner make weird innuendos towards another girl even in a joking way, I would not feel comfortable. If she wants to flirt with people she 100% is allowed to, but be single or don't be surprised if your partner finds it weird.

OP did have the right to feel upset about it but his girlfriend also had the right to stand up for herself. It most likely was just a joke. Jokes between friends like that are common, or at least in my friend group it is. Its clear him and her just have totally differing views on what's OK in a relationship and should just break up. Don't feel too bad. I've known people like that and they are always seeking their own highs and happiness no matter the cost to those around them, and are always spiteful little shits to those who go against them even in the slightest way. I run the second I catch a whiff of that behaviour after the shit I've seen lol

It’s just sad to me hearing someone genuinely think that’s how you’re supposed to value people and honestly believes that’s how everyone else thinks too.
