Hi Ive been looking for excellent street photography taken with this lens. Youve been the best by far. I think you make a brilliant street photographer by the way. Thanks again.
Hi Philip - Are you talking about the wide zoom or the 27mm prime? The wide zoom can take some great broad vistas (such as the thumbnail for this video), but there are challenges about visual distortion particularly at the edges of the frame, or when you are shooting upwards or downwards. The 27mm is fantastic and I love it. If I was forced to take only two lenses for a trip, and weight is an issue. I think I'd go 18-55mm and the 27mm. Thanks for your very kind words. Much appreciated. Best, Keith
Keith, just discovered your RUclips channel. As a 1 year owner of an XT3, really enjoying your videos - you are a super detailed story teller, reminds me of a favorite high school teacher. Thank you, sir! Thanks for sharing your pictures and your time!
Dear No-where Man. Thank you so, so much for you comment. It really means a lot to me that there my channel is finding people like you that are benefiting from my content. As for being a high school teacher...you are not far off the mark. During the week, I am a professor at a post-graduate university.
Sorry - I didn't make it as clear as I intended. The 27mm images are in the fish market, The Doges Palace from the water, the cyclists at the film festival cinema, inside the cafe, the wedding couple, a few of the shots in backstreets, the daytime picture of the Bridge of Sighs, and a couple of the Grand Canal from Rialto Bridge. A really great lens for all round photography and especially street scenes, etc.
@@KeithMasonPhotography - No worries Keith, I popped you sub anyway fella. My travel set-up consists of... XT3 and XA10 bodies. (I like to always have a backup body on travels) 27mm (lives on the XA10 body mostly) 10-24mm 55-200mm Regards, Dazza. 🇬🇧
@@MrDazza64 Nice set up! I also have the 18mm and 35mm primes which I select depending on how I feel of a morning. Going with a single prime forces me to think more creatively, and tell stories that perhaps I would not have thought about with the zoom. The 55-200mm is my next lens, when I can afford it. I would love the reach for some shots (surfing locations, etc.). Thanks for the subscription, much appreciated.
@@KeithMasonPhotography - Yes, I can recommend the 55-200mm mate, I find armed with this and the 10-24mm, it covers most situations. I’m about to drop the cash on the 100-400mm mainly for wildlife and perhaps some landscape too. I’d like a couple of the primes and the xe-4 is looking very interesting as well. I have a couple of other camera systems, but I’m going to probably sell the lot and move completely onto Fuji.
@@MrDazza64 Wildlife photography is not my thing, but will definitely go for the 55-200 when I can. With that, I think I'd be pretty set up for the get-go. Cheers, Keith
Beautiful video. Liked all your shots. Keep posting.
Thanks Amit for the encouragement! Will do

Wonderful video. I really enjoyed the background and approach, followed by beautiful and intentional images.
Many thanks!! What a lovely comment. I’m glad you liked the video
Lovely pictures Keith. I love Venice, but I've only known it packed with people, so you're lucky to have visited this year.
Thanks Chris. It was all a bit unusual but did mean moving around was a bit easier
Have the X-T4 and just bought the XF 10-24 OIS WR. I am very much an ameture. Your video is well done. Thank you for sharing your shots.
You should enjoy the X-T4. That and the 10-24 is an excellent combination. Thanks for your kind comments. Keith
Informative video Keith, thank you.
Thanks, Marco

Thanks, Atul! Glad you liked the video.
Nice video and photos! Sorry if I missed it in the video, but how often approximately did you use 27mm lens of these photos?

Surely the Fuji wide angle is 10 - 24mm not 10 - 14mm?
Well spotted!! My mistake!!!
