Clean man nice work, he I've never have sprayed auto I have a chev 1/2 ton truck my techna copper has a 1.2 is that good for a single stage flat black?
Hi, I recently bought a Tekna clearcoat gun mainly to shoot clearcoat. What settings would you recommend? I tried shooting a hood with it, but I keep getting fisheyes on the side that I start on. I used the 1.3tip and TE 20 aircap. I shot it at 30psi and turned the fluid in a couple turns and fan wide open. I still believe I may be applying too much material.
@@paintworkbyjr3685 I use TE20 1.2 for best control and no orange peel and sometimes T110 1.3 for glass finish but your are right they are a little slow specially the T110. I am looking to buy a sata 1000brp (more economic price spray gun).someone told me the 1000 is the new edition off the 3000, have you any idea for this gun. Sorry for my English...
@@vasiliskaradimos I have never used the 1000 yet. I'm selling my 5500x I nozzle 1.3 if your interested. I have only used it like a hand full of times for clear.
Douche but a douche that made money and helped with the start of a body trainee but now he a paint helper and these midgets out here shouldnt be talking shit but hey thats painters for ya

Esa es la actitud....el trabajo te tiene que divertir para que nunca sea un trabajo
Gotta have fun in the bodyshop. Its a bodyshop and we get to work on cars and get paid for it. Lol
Which air cup did you use friend? TE20?
Yes. In my opinion the 1.4 is the best setup to shoot nice slick clear unless your doing small stuff like motorcycles then the 1.2 is the way to go.
